6450 is in the back of the boat (sorry, don't know difference between port and starboard). It is parallel with the hallway (while all other cabins are perpendicular). This creates a double balcony. If you want to trade a sofa for a larger balcony without paying extra, this is a very good cabin. One floor down to Promenade deck. 3 floors up to Lido. So, its a good cabin to avoid elevators. I'd get this cabin again. Read entire member review. |

Too close to the pay laundry. Noisy late night on several occasions. Same location, same deck, other side would be great. Read entire member review. |

Balcony Cabin 7348: There were some minor issues with the cabin. The ceiling kept rattling in 3 different areas. On first night, someone was sent to fix it. They hammered small wooden blocks between the light fixture. This held until morning. The second day, it was back. Someone else was sent to fix the problem, and they said the ceiling panels were misaligned and that was causing the problem. He fixed it, and this held for two days. Then, another area of the ceiling started to rattle, near the cabin door. To this they said they could do nothing. He tried, but couldnt stop it. After the trip from St. Thomas to San Juan, this never returned. On the final sea day, the initial area of the ceiling started rattling again, but it lasted for just a short time and quit.

The room size was very adequate, a bit dated, but well appointed, and great storage space. Definitely enjoyed the balcony. The location was good because you could walk up or down the stairs to get to most places. Enjoyed the amount of closet space available for storing everything. The room was also rather quiet. 7356- great double room. Empress deck, mid-ship with cabins both above and below. There are double rooms on both sides so it did make for a quiet balcony neighbors as they were not family cabins. Directly across from our room was a Crew door which we never heard and only saw used once for a room service delivery. We were far enough away from the elevators for low foot traffic but located to where we could use either the back of mid-elevators without much effort.
I would select this cabin # again both for convenience and a quiet location. Read entire member review. |

A little small by industry standards, decor a little dated. Ample cupboard space, well thought out layout, especially bathroom. Read entire member review. |

our category 8c cabin was good. Room was ready after embarkation. It was published as a 'jr suite' it was no larger than the 8c balcony we had on Royal. For a jr suite I was expecting more. Good space on the desk for writing-lots of shelf storage. For a jr suite items in refrigerator should be free Great bathroom dressing area with large lighted mirror and closet with shelves. Bathroom had a jetted tub which we never could get to work. The shower head was strange to work..bath products were good. Beds were comfortable-linens good-three closets. The balcony was a good size-family had room next to use so our room steward open partition so we had one long balcony. Otherwise it was a nice room. Read entire member review. |

Generally enjoyed cabin with Balcony. Room had sufficient closet space and was similar to all 8 category rooms we have had.
Drawers were hard to pull out and push back in.
Bed spreads are getting worn. Read entire member review. |

Our Cabin was 8244 on Verandah deck forward of the atrium elevators. Nice and quiet. This cabin is about 12 back from the bridge and no you don't really feel the pitching of the ship, like I'm sure some would think. There were cabins across the hall. Great location Read entire member review. |

8258 8th floor - Near the elevators. Was pretty quiet, although near the elevators. There was lots of storage space. 2 big closets and a big closets with shelves. There is also space for clothes under the couch(2 drawers). There are also smaller drawers in a desk type thing...that was good for underwear etc. The hair dryer was connected through the wall, but stays in the desk drawer. You can stretch it to the bathroom if you like. Above the desk was a huge mirror where you can do make up, dry hair etc. A little safe is good for putting passports etc. it is locked by using your personal credit card. A TV that swivels. A small 'cooler' this is not a fridge...suggestion...but ice in it if you want to keep things cool. It is stocked with pop and liquor...but it is costly. A few under shelves and more closed in shelves..and 2 little night stands that you can put things in. Lots of storage space. We had a balcony cabin which was nice. Every few days it gets sanitized-wood and all, just like around the pool. Except the pool floors, steps, etc gets sanitized every evening. Overall, I loved my room. Read entire member review. |

A great location in relation to the Lido deck. We just went up the stairwell (close by) and we were in the middle of the action! Read entire member review. |

Great balcony, stateroom was very clean but tight-ish with king-size bed and fold-down bunkbeds....would like to upgrade next time to suite if the price is right. A couple of days before we left NY, our Carnival rep called and offered an upgrade to a suite which was supposedly $2200 but he could offer it for $1400, but we skipped the offer figuring we could better spend that extra money for other things...mite consider it next time... We had a balcony cabin, 8360, it was very nice. There are very few electrical outlets which is only a problem if you need to charge multiple phone, cameras and have curling irons, etc. to plug in. There is plenty of storage. The balcony was decent size. The only downside to the balcony was that we were on deck 8 and the lido deck was above us. The lido deck covered out balcony so sitting in the sun was not possible. Read entire member review. |

Cabin was good. I really liked being in the aft of the boat. The deck was right below the pool area so we were only one staircase below the aft pool, food, and bar. Read entire member review. |

8248--Good location with plenty of space in the room. Nice bathroom. Close to elevator. One deck below the pool and buffet. Safe in the room. I am always amazed by the small size of the shower. The cabin location was relatively close to the stairs (and elevators if you choose to use them). Being on deck 7, meant we didn't hear much of the noise from the lido deck almost directly above us. The only downfall, wasn't the cabin itself, but our neighbours who were smokers. There was plenty of cupboard space, my sister had a closet and drawers, and so did I. The beds were so comfy - I wanted to bring mine home with me. There is only one outlet in the main cabin, and none in the bathroom. Read entire member review. |
