Every Carnival guest is assured of spacious, comfortable accommodations. All staterooms have carpeting, ample drawer and closet space, private facilities (shower, basin and toilet), telephone and color television showing first-run films. Our SuperLiners all feature staterooms above ocean level for a more comfortable cruise.
WOW...we are first time cruisers and had no idea of what to expect so we were pleasantly surprised to find a spacious well lighted room with a large ocean view window. The bed was perfectly comfortable and also large. The room had a flat screen TV and channels where you could see the ship destinations and routing, plus your room portfolio. The closet and drawer space was perfect. The bathroom was a nice size and easy to put away our toiletries plus I like the pumps for soap and shampoo. The carpet was clean, the linens were great. We did not like the huge robes as they were not soft at all, nor were the bath towels, but we did appreciate getting a beach towel to take with us everywhere we went. Plus it could be traded in any time for a clean one! We LOVED our first cruise! Read entire member review.
Great cabin, close to the elevators, quiet (just below the Shore Excursion desk so no traffic or music on the deck above), close to the show lounge although no noise and an easy trip back to the cabin after a late show. Read entire member review.
Identical to all Ocean view cabins, there was enough room for the two of us, the wheelchair, and a large suitcase. Curtains always seem to be a pain in the butt to open/close, and I've never figured out the "couch" in the cabin. It's too deep to sit comfortably on, and if it's used as a bed, for a third person (?), a sheet on vinyl would be really uncomfortable. It does hold a large suitcase well, and other items not worth storing in drawers or closets. No bad smells, as in some reviews. There was a mirror, that when the light shone on it in a certain way, it looked as if someone had sneezed on it, but that was cleared up. Our steward, Michael, made certain he introduced himself, and even called us by name if we met in the passageway. I'll never know how someone is able to do that!
Spacious room, lots of closet space, safe, and drawers. Mini-bar didnt really get very cold. Bathroom was a good size. Easy access to midship elevators. Smell in hallway was awful, but smell didnt go into the room. (Smelt like sewage) The bed was big but very very hard. Pillows and duvet very comfortable. All in all we liked our room very much aside from the smell in the hallway and the hard bed. Read entire member review.
Our cabin #2429 was a nice size with ample storage facilities. We loved the ocean view window. Our cabin steward kept it very clean and orderly and we were never disappointed with any aspect of the cabin amenities or service. Read entire member review.
There was ample closet space in our Oceanview room that was in a relatively quiet location in the ship (deck 2, port-side aft - between the aft-most bank of elevators and the mid-aft elevators). We had a lovely view of Cuba during our day at sea. Our steward was very attentive to our requests for ice and the unlocking of our minibar, despite our non-consumption of the contents of our minibar. We were not charged for consumption of the contents; we required use of the refrigerator. Read entire member review.
We were in cabin 7435 very end of the ship and you can smell everyone smoke there. Vibration when the ship is near anchoring. None of this really bothered us but for some it may. Read entire member review.
