Carnival Liberty cabin 6442 was perfect. It was an extended balcony aft-view and worth the extra money. Beautiful balcony. The room was perfect for 2 people. Bigger than I expected on a cruise ship. Thumbs up. Read entire member review. |

1001- 4J handicapped cabin - door opens by itself on entering card key - roomy and fairly quiet - weights dropping on ceiling occasionally made a loud clunk
6454 - Aft balcony room - very quiet, nice view aft, roomy and good storage - the bathroom flooded easily, but that may have been due to the rough seas - little room between closet/bathroom - couldn't walk through if any door was opened, but the rest of the cabin was fantastic - very roomy balcony. Cabin 6548 is very noisy until 12:30-1:00 am because it is directly under the Victoria Lounge. The view of the wake was awesome. Read entire member review. |

I have been on three cruises, this one was my second. I have never had a problem with space on any of the ships that I have sailed on. I have been in ocean view (Carnival Victory - February 2006) (there were three women on that one) and the amount of space was incredible. My other two were balconies, one was the back of the ship (Carnival Conquest - January 2010) and Carnival Valor was a side balcony -- all of them had ample closet and drawer space. Our room was at the back, middle part of the ship. The room was tight. Entry area claustrophobic and dark. The door pulls entend out and take up the valuable space. These hard knobs caused injury. I removed them. Our room was across from the crew storage area which could be noisy. Balcony was fine with two chairs and one lounger. The air conditioning cover rattled constantly and could only be silented by pushing it. Read entire member review. |

Unfortunately 7447 smelt strongly of smoke when we first boarded. It took about 4 days before we got the smell out and that was by having our deck door open to air the room. Front door didn't close so we had to make sure we gave it an extra pull on leaving. Fridge had to be replaced on the second leg of our cruise. Never worked on first leg so we relied on the ice bucket which was always kept full of ice. Neighbours deck door constantly slammed making a dreadful loud noise. Be nice to have some sort of self closing door that shuts without the bang. Crews cupboard was two away and could be a bit noisy when they are ready to start their day's work but crew were very good.
Cabin 7447 was a lot smaller than the side balcony cabins which we have used in the past so it was a bit disappointing to have a larger deck and a lot smaller room. Had we have been aware we'd have opted for the side again not Aft. Although the deck was slightly larger it certainly is not as large as it looks on the deck plans.
Also had a lot of cigarette butts falling onto our deck from somewhere above so unable to dry clothing outside.

Cabin 6458 - We had an aft cabin with a balcony that was large - a great balcony with a unique view. We were over the Victoria Lounge. Most nights there was something going on we could hear. Sometimes we could even hear it in the hallway before we got to our cabin. We were able to get to sleep, anyway, but light sleepers or people who return to their cabin early at night might not want this cabin. Read entire member review. |
