Anniversary Cruise by kratescape
We were in suite 1260. It is just before the whirlpool. We heard some noise from the solarium. It was spacious, had a huge bathroom and large balcony.  Read entire member review.

Room 1260 is a Grand Suite. The only difference in this suite and a smaller Jr Suite is 1 bathroom vanity sink vs 2 in the grand bathroom and cabin square footage you won't miss. The price different is not warranted. The difference in the more pricey Owners Suite and Grand Suite is the owners suite bath has a bidet and more square footage you won't miss either. I had friends in both cabins. Specifically 1260 is forward starboard side. Excellent location, no noise to speak of, quite floor. I recommend. If I go on this class ship again Id probably downgrade to a Jr. We did have rough seas and the storage cabinet did squeak.  Read entire member review.

GS 1268, just aft of the cantilevered hot tub on the Starboard side. Convenient to elevator. Balcony is a bit deeper so loungers can face the water. Across from crew space but was never a problem.  Read entire member review.

Best Vacation yet!! by Sheryl1133
Cabin 1268 was great. No major complaints. The storage was more than enough for the 3 of us. The view was awesome at every port. The bed was great. The only minor complaint was that we could hear carts rolling on the floor above us late at night as I believe our cabin was just under the adult pool and hot tub area. The bathroom area was also great.  Read entire member review.

You may want to get the mirror image cabin down the hall - ours was oriented with the bed and bathroom on the left, couch and closets on the right. Was slightly smaller than the cabin with the opposite orientation down the hall. Closets had good room and tons of storage. Beware - if seas are rough, the wardrobe doors kept opening on their own, so we had to put a chair in front of them to stop the banging overnight!! Good central location to ship, and the bathroom is great. Balcony is deep and wide  Read entire member review.

Grand Suite - Cabin 1286 .. in the middle of the ship half way between the elevators deck 10 ... plenty of room .. worth the extra cost.  Read entire member review.

Great cruise experience by Cruisinbeaner
Nice location for this GS. Being starboard side, we had good views at all ports. This cabin is within a reasonable distance to both the CL and elevators. There is a connecting stateroom for this one as well, and we did not notice any noise coming from the adjoining room (could have just had quiet neighbors too).  Read entire member review.

This was our first time in a Grand Suite and hopefully not our last. Stateroom 1548 was an excellent location choice, close to the elevator but not right on top of it and just one deck down from the top deck with easy access to everything It all began with an email from the ship's concierge about a week before sailing though with this letter: "My name is Amit and I will be your Concierge onboard the Freedom of the Seas. We are excited that you have chosen Royal Caribbean for your cruise vacation. As a Concierge Club guest, you will be offered amenities and services not available to other guests onboard. Upon boarding, you will receive a folder with more detailed information as well as the key to the Concierge Club. Below is a brief summary of your amenities: Use of the Concierge Club lounge located on Deck # 10. Spa bathrobes for your use onboard & upgraded bathroom amenities Continental breakfast served in the lounge daily from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. Hors d'oeuvres, petit fours and complimentary bar setup in the lounge every evening before and after dinner from 5:00pm to 8:30 pm. Daily menus displayed and pre-ordering for your dinner wine. Reservations for any of our Specialty Restaurants, Explorations!, Freedom Day Spa services. Personalized Port & Shopping guide advice. Reserved Lounge chairs set-up on Deck 11 & 12 in front of the Sky Bar ( limited sitting arrangement). VIP access for the Shows in the Arcadia Theater Deck 4 as well as for "FREEDOM-ICE.COM" Ice Show.(No tickets required) Complimentary pressing service on the first formal night. Priority departure for tendering ports from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. DVDs and CDs for your use while onboard. Reserved private seating during breakfast and lunch at the Windjammer Cafe in Portofino dining area. Priority departure for tendering ports after 10:00 am please meet in the Concierge Lounge deck #10. Complimentary luggage valet & onboard check-in service. There was more but you get the idea: This is going to be really nice. We had booked a Grand Suite on Freedom of the Seas and were looking forward to the extra space a larger stateroom would offer, mainly because we were bringing several family members along. Ok, maybe that was an excuse and we just wanted to try a suite, just once, to see what it was like. Yes, there, now I told the truth and feel better about it. I felt better still when the ship delivered every single one of the benefits outlined in that initial email and more. Stay tuned for more details on the suite experience and send your questions along too  Read entire member review.

Grand Suite had a great balcony with two lounge chairs, a table and chairs, large closet and large bathroom with tub/shower combo and double sinks.  Read entire member review.

For 5 of us there was plenty of closet/drawer space, comfortable sleeping, and the curtains were great to shutting out the light for naps. The bathroom was worth the extra money alone. Huge balcony, quiet location, the bathtub and sinks didn't drain very quickly, and two hair dryers in the room.  Read entire member review.

GS 1582 On starboard side...great balcony but unfortunate if you dislike smoke and your neighbors smoke....unable to appreciate as much.... Sofa also opened out to a queen size so 2 adults could sleep in 2 queen size beds...mattresses/bed line super comfy..... Great view. We were more mid-ship so it was a long walk to the concierge lounge and dining area . Quiet enough location tho. We were happy.  Read entire member review.
