We had an Oceanview Stateroom on Deck 2. We were surprised to realize even though our room was close to the front of the ship, you could only access it from the back stairway & elevators. This was fine, as it meant more burning off all the food we were eating. It said in the description that the 2 single beds would make a queen however it was much better than a queen, probably as big as a king or close. It was nice to have the BIG ocean view window. The room was no bigger and no smaller than we expected. There was a closet on the left when we walked in with some shelves and many hanger. Enough to handle our clothing. It also had 4 life jackets and our safe. Our safe worked great. Just put in a pin and press lock, and re-enter the same pin to unlock. There was a desk/dresser area with 6 - 8 small drawers, (with hair dryer), and a mini fridge. The bathroom was small but useable for people our size. 2332 - Nice room. Bathroom was a bit larger than we had experienced on previous Carnival cruises. We won't choose a room on the lower floors any more, however. Every excursion gangway had to go past our areas and the common areas were congested on excursion mornings. Room was much quieter than other ship rooms. Bathroom was OK but no plugs so hair drying was out in cabin. We had an adjoining cabin which we could hear someone coughing up a lung in the morning and fighting at night which usually ended by 11pm. Closet seemed a good size but open area we wished was larger it was hard for 2 people to get dress for dinner every night so we had to allow more time especially on the formally night. Our cabin steward John was great. Mini bar people were not on the ball. We purchased beverage and water packages. They gave us 2 sovereign cups that were the same we found out later that their were different types. They kept charging us for water even though we had a full case there we just didn't have it out in front of min frig. Which is what guest services advise us to do. This was dumb take a small cabin and make it smaller with a box in the middle of it. Had to go to guest services to have it remove twice. Port hole is nice. Oceanview room seemed more spacious and comfortable than our previous balcony staterooms. Window was plenty large enough to get lighting and see outside. Good location provided easy access to elevators, dining, gangway and was quiet and comfortable. We slept well.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was perfect. We had a large closet, we stored my sons wheelchair in it whilst on ship, with plenty of hanging space and shelves. The bed was larger than our double at home and very comfortable. When the sofa bed was pulled out at night it didn't leave a lot of room but there is enough to walk to the toilet and back. Cabin is very dark (even though we had an ocean view)at night so we left the bathroom light on with the door closed which gave enough light to see where you were going. The shower was a bit small but all of us could use it comfortably. It was awkward to shower my son as there isn't a lot of room to maneuver in the bathroom. It had an adjoining door which was always securely locked but the wind whistled through it at night so we put a tee-shirt across the bottom to stop the noise.
