Room was in a good spot Hear no noise to speak of. View from balcony was good and the starboard side was port side at each port which is always a bonus.  Read entire member review.

Nice size closet AMAZING balcony Quiet location Great view  Read entire member review.

Close to stairs & elevator which makes it easy to leave the ship and get to dinner. Balcony is plenty big with two chairs and small table. Great views when at port.  Read entire member review.

Centrally located but quiet. We liked it as we were directly under Windjammer (5 floors) so a quick walk up the stairs was all that was between us and the food! ;-) Also made navigating the ship easier. Room had lots of storage and even with 4 people, we were not usually cramped. Balcony was spatious.  Read entire member review.

Room 6330- Great location for our family. It was near the elevators/ stairs that were on the end where our dining rooms was as well as the kids activity areas. Balcony really seemed to add space and gave us a little sitting area when some of the family was still asleep. This room had the two twins made as one king bed and a sofa that folded out for the kids.  Read entire member review.

Nice size, plenty big enough. Extremely Comfortable. More room in the closet than 2 adults needed. Room safe with electronic lock. Balcony has ruined me. I will be paying extra for balcony from now on. There were 2 chairs and a table to relax and watch the sea go by. Cabin was fresh and spotless. Space under bed for all suitcases. Memory foam on mattress. Slept like a baby. Couch, dressing table w/chair, plenty of mirrors, flat screen interactive TV swivels. A/C worked well. Sliding glass door to the balcony had a good seal when closed. Deck 6 midships. Food was aft, entertainment forward. Good location on ship. QUIET! Nice decor. Bathroom adequate. We are big RVers so it was almost roomy to us. Shower was a little small for me but I'm at 245 lbs. (temporarily of course).  Read entire member review.

Cabin was nice sized. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Flat screen TV, piped in music, two chairs, table and a lounger on the balcony. Towards center forward - quiet location and convenient to elevators or stairs. Bathroom is nice sized, not too small. Cabin 6604  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was a bit small for 3 people, but we knew what to expect getting on the ship.  It was quiet in the hallways, and we had a nice oceanview balcony.  Read entire member review.

7294 and 7300 (cat. E1)--spacious deck but room too small for 3 adults. Did not like the bed which came out of the wall over the main bed.

DISAPPOINTED AT FIRST by SAM'S MOM MOM
Cabin size was fine! Closet was ample, balcony was nice. The glass on the balcony was never wiped down the whole time we were there. My cabin was too NOISEY!!!! We never got a bit of sleep until late at night. We could hear everything in the next cabin. Once again I feel familes with children should be put in a separate area, especially at dinner.  Read entire member review.

This was the smallest cabin we have ever been in. Our 15 year old grandaughter's bunk pulled out from the wall right OVER top of our bed. It was too small for a teen, and being right over our heads, was noisy everytime she moved. The ladder prevented my husband from getting out of bed on his side, he had to climb over me. Our grandaughter fell off the ladder in the middle of the night, getting up to use bathroom in the dark. I am claustrophobic, and this closed in arrangement caused much anxiety for me. As this bed was left down all the time, there were several times that we bumped our heads on the bed above us, just sitting on the bed. The sleeping arrangements ruined an otherwise wonderful cruise. Unfortunately, I assumed the couch opened out into a bed, no one told me otherwise. In addition, the hallway was so small, the bathroom, closet and outside door hit together. Never again RCCL!  Read entire member review.

Cabin 7624 is a handicapped balcony on the port side. GREAT room. A huge space with room for the scooter and half the family to be comfortable. Large closet with pull-down closet rod. the safe is in a lowered position for ease of use. The bathroom is rool-in as well as a big shower. There are emergency buttons and main light switches everywhere. The balcony had a ramp system and was huge. 7 on a 5 star system.  Read entire member review.

Closet space is very limited compared to Carnival- but we made due- plenty of hangars. Balcony had table and two chairs Liked being close to elevator and stairs- central location in ship-  Read entire member review.

Great cabin, no cabins opposite. VERY QUIET LOCATION. A 2 second walk from the elevators if that is important to you. As cabin is an aft location, is is extremely handy for port days. Excellent beds and unobstructed views from the balcony. Would happily book again!!  Read entire member review.

Family vacation by pac949697

This cabin is on the back of the ship and has a huge balcony which was a wonderful surprise. The cabin with the king bed was very comfortable and the room itself seemed very spacious. The bathrooms were what we are used to and dealt with it fine. Our cabin steward Roberto was excellent and couldn't do enough for us.

Stateroom: Cabin 7708 was FABULOUS! Room was average size with a love seat in it, plenty of storage that I was able to put everything away and stow our luggage without having anything outside of storage. Balcony was absolutely wonderful. It was very large and had both shade and sun areas most of the time. You could see out the side of the ship and the back wake area too. This was my favorite part of the ship - for sure.  Read entire member review.

We were in Cabin 8294. Slightly larger than Voyager Class ships with a nice balcony with room for 2 and a small table. Located in the middle of the hallway, it was equidistant from the elevators at either end of the ship.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 8294. It was a nice cabin. Non-smoking, but had an ashtray on the balcony ... go figure. Watch the halls for dirty dishes and trays .... you might step in something.  Read entire member review.

We had cabin 8320 (Cat. E1) on deck 8, Starboard side, midships. Basic balcony cabin with all the standard amenities which includes a refrigerator and an in cabin safe. The cabin was clean. Closet and storage was adequate. Bathroom had a shower stall and one sink. Fairly good storage in here too. Very quiet location and close to the aft elevators.  Read entire member review.

Our Cabin was 8392 on deck 8, a balcony cabin. The cabin seemed bigger than the cabin we had on Carnival in 2004. It was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The only complaint at all was when in port at St. Thomas, the ship was tilted slightly and water did not drain properly in the shower, resulting in some water on the bathroom floor. That is truly the only thing I could say that was less than outstanding. The balcony size was great and they brought us a 3rd chair after we asked for it for the balcony. Beds very comfortable and lots of storage space. Good job RCCL!  Read entire member review.

We booked a balcony guarantee 3-1/2 weeks before sail date and were immediately assigned to 8536, an E1 on deck 8. No upgrade, but at least we didn't draw a bad location, which is the risk you take with a guarantee--8536 is conveniently situated a few doors off the forward elevator and stairs lobby yet far enough away to be unaffected by lobby noise. We especially liked being on deck 8 because it was three flights of stairs from everywhere--up three to the gym/pool/Windjammer deck 11 and down three to the promenade deck 5.  Read entire member review.

The rooms were nothing special and this class of ship has not made many improvements on the size of the bathrooms. I guess we have been spoiled by the large showers on the Celebrity Millennium class of ships. Since my 88 year old mother was along with us, we selected a room location in the forward section of the ship near the forward elevators (best kept secret on the ship).  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was pleasant and comfortable with adequate storage. We did, as usual, ask for a lighter blanket. The comforters they use are just too heavy, not so much in warmth as in weight. We enjoyed our balcony except for the times when so much smoke was coming from balconies around us that we had to escape inside. As an ex-smoker I understand the predicament of smokers today and I don't know an equitable solution to this dilemma. Possibly they could have sections of the ship where people can smoke on balconies and other sections where they can't, but that might be a logistics nightmare for RCI.  Read entire member review.

We just loved our adjoining cabins 8600 8602. With three kids, it was a joy to have our own cabin but have them adjoin for safety. It was a clean cabin with THE most comfortable beds. This is our first mid ship. I do love an AFT view but you feel it more. I hardly ever felt the ship move. Our friends had adj. promenades 8611 and 8613 and I would consider only to save money but that balcony is really hard to live without!  Read entire member review.

Expect small closet, we had an aft balcony which is different, view is not as great a side balcony but the balcony is a lot deeper. Did not have problem with soot as mentioned in other posts. Overall the cabin was great. Use your space wisely it can be done.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 9302. Great stateroom w/a balcony! Recommend the balcony, I will never cruise again w/out one. Spacious storage space, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom. The shower was also great, w/wonderful water pressure and removal shower head for washing convenience! The room was not noisy from floors above or beside us. Highly recommend it!  Read entire member review.

9304 Great Balcony - and you can get adjoining rooms if you have teen agers. also they make the couch in to a big bed - not just a pullout so 4 people could stay in one room. Book early or yours kids room will be across the hall vs a nice balcony adjoining room. Keep shades drawn when you are out to keep the room cooler... AC worked great and showers were surprising big enough.  Read entire member review.

9704 on Freedom of the Seas. Great cabin...we thoroughly enjoyed the balcony. It was about twice the size of the standard balcony and was actually wide enough that we had two chairs a small table and a chaise lounge. The door going out to the balcony was a regular door, not a slider, which was a little loud each time we opened and closed it. The rest of the room was about what I would expect...sofa, coffee table, nice lighting by the bed to read with and a huge porthole window. It was so big I could sit in it ...about four feet by four feet and about two feet deep. The cabin was all the way at he back of the ship and in its own little alcove right next to the service door. When I first saw that I was a little nervous that it might be noisy when the staff used the door but seriously I never once heard anyone in the hall. Also, because of its location no other guest ever walked by our door. I will definitely ask for this cabin next year. RC says in the description of the room that is may have a limited view but in our opinion we had a better view then all of the other cabins in the Aft of the ship. It was just about a160 degree view of the ocean when we were on the balcony depending on how we placed our chairs.  Read entire member review.

Ample closet space for two people. Conveninet in-room safe in closet. Bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever been in. The linens were higher end. It was the cleanest hotel room I have ever been in. There was plenty of room to either sit on the love seat or lounge on the bed. The balcony was a decent size.  Read entire member review.

Very enjoyable cruise by cruizluver
Very satisfied with our balcony cabin. Lots of storage room and hangers. Bathroom and shower was roomy with lots of room for make-up etc. The balcony was large enough for the two of us plus our traveling companions so we could enjoy some time to visit before dinner with a glass of wine!! It was nice to be close to the elevator as my sister has some problem with walking long distances. Cabin was quiet, bed was very comfortable.  Read entire member review.

Our interior cabin on deck 9 near the aft stairs must have been next to some generator room because there was something running all the time. We didn't mind the rumbling though. The bathrooms are tiny. There are actually a couple channels on TV so it's possible to keep up to date with what's going on in the world if you need to.  Read entire member review.

Freedom of the Seas by So Cal Girl
Cabin 8616 was a stateroom balcony cabin and very comfortable. Unpack your bags and put your empty suitcases under your bed. Much easier to find your clothes this way and besides, you will need to re-pack at the end anyway! TIP: Bring a portable travel scale for your luggage...lots of people had to pay overage fees at the airport as they didn't pack correctly and their luggage was overweight. You can get this at Target. The bathroom shower was enclosed with a circular door, much better than a shower curtain. The bathroom was quite large too. The room had a safe which we used all the time, very handy. Bring a small plug cord if you have multiple electronics as there are only 2 plugs in the main desk area of the room. The blow dryer is handy and in a drawer in the bedroom by the vanity/desk area. The walls are insulated well and you cannot hear your neighbors.  Read entire member review.
