Cabin Rating

For a balcony cabin much smaller than we had on other cruises. Balcony we considered a danger as it was not enclosed and shower room was dreadful with very small shower and a shower curtain which stuck to you when you had a shower. I would point out that my husband and myself are not overweight. Hallway noisy due to kids running and chasing each other.

First time cruisers. by denisevanwyk

We were more than happy with our cabin however were not impressed with the tired old bedding and the thin lumpy pillows.

Brilliant location, great views when docking/departing, nice size,  Read entire member review.
Great views, tiny shower, hard mattress.  Read entire member review.

My wife and I were satisfied. The shower is very small, but we could fit in. Many passengers would not be able to shower.

The cabin was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Of all the cruise ships I've been on with a veranda it was the smallest although the company's web site accurately cited its dimensions. The veranda was also the smallest I've experienced. One great plus, however was the drapery. For one of the very few times in my travel life the drapes completely blocked the morning light - no beams of light to wake before you are ready to wake up. The TV also needed replacing - got tired of watching semi-purple people and so on. The beds were comfortable and high enough off the floor to enable the storage of luggage under it. Overall, even though the room had its shortcomings, it was bright and cheerful - a nice stay.  Read entire member review.
Never again! by Brenda Waterman
Our first taste of luxury (we thought) of having our own balcony and a larger stateroom. We were most disappointed as the only extra space to a standard cabin was the balcony and even that was a bit of a squeeze for two people. There was not enough wardrobe or drawer space and the bathroom was no bigger than we have had with a standard outside cabin with portholes. We were even charged for something out of the mini-bar that we never had!  Read entire member review.
Wonderful Cruise by HAYDEN AND JILL
10083 - great cabin on left hand side towards the front. Spacious and fresh. Very clean. Small, but adequate and functional bathroom. Toilet necessities and linen replenished frequently. Bed very comfortable. wardrobe is quitelarge. Plenty of space beneath bed to store suitcases. Only one chair provided - a bit odd. However, there were two chairs on balcony and we bought one in as needed. Space to hang a pegless travellersclothesline. Very small clotheslinein shower. Laundry fees were OK, too high for underware but OK for shirts and for pressing crumpled jackets. Room security safe was easy to use. Noise between cabins was not bad - we had elderly people each side so no bedroom antics were overheard!!! But you could hear coughing, but not snoring. The cabin met our expectations.  Read entire member review.
Mixed Feelings by lisarich007

We had a balcony cabin on deck 10, which was very nice, with ample room for 2 despite being small. I loved having the balcony, and sitting out there watching the scenery. Our cabin steward was very helpful, with cleaning our cabin, and providing ice and extra pillows when requested, despite the language barrier.

Lovely cabin, useless shower curtain, drawers had to be blocked with clothing to stop them banging during the night, excellent housekeeping, excellent cabin steward, excellent room service, nice balcony, needs mesh as openings are too big, would not let a child out on that balcony.

Apparently smaller than other ship choices but more than adequate, storage space, plenty!. Easy balcony access and adequate space for two, Cabin 10106 on deck 10 and expected to hear more noise from above pool deck which was audible but not in any way obtrusive & definately way less noisy than a decent hotel room in London!!!!

Very happy with this cabin - two single beds pushed together to make an enormously wide (and very comfortable) double bed. Plenty of stowage space (cases under the bed), plenty of hangers, well-appointed (hairdryer, power points, shampoo, shower gel, plenty of towels, one towelling dressing gown, TV). Big mirror, plus a dressing table with another big mirror. Plenty of hot water at all times. Bit of noise at nights on occasion - could've been crew moving sunloungers on deck above.  Read entire member review.

Cabin on deck 10 extremely noisy during the night. Below the burger restaurant which re opened at midnight until 2 am. Sounded as though heavy furniture being dragged across floor at both of these times. It one didn't wake you the other one will. Smell of relying food coming through air vent around 6.30 am which lasted for a couple of hours.

Tiny bath but because the balcony projects from the ship and is the last one on the deck (about 2/3 of the way back) tghe views are wonderful.  Read entire member review.
Nice size rooms. Double bed, small closet.  Read entire member review.
Gorgeous balcony cabin with lots of room and wonderful decor. However the 'obstructed view' cabins are just that. The Life boats actual occupy the entire balcony, thus the balcony is a useless expensive appendage to the cabin.  Read entire member review.
cabin not bad, bit small, basic not luxury  Read entire member review.
