Nice location, easy to find, nice bath, shower separate glass enclosed, as is toilet from sink. Wonderful Memory Foam topped mattress. Only thing missing is a lighted mirror, RCC ships provide this. Lighting is room is inadequate for reading in bed, or doing make-up, especially if you are over 25 years of age and wear glasses.Wonder closet space and adequate hangers.  Read entire member review.

Small cabin but enough storage space. Handy to elevators and for debarkation at ports. Perfect if economizing - if I win a lottery I will get a mini-suite but until then - this served the purpose.  Read entire member review.

Great storage. Wasnt huge, but was laid out well. Bathroom was set up well too. Not alot of outlets, but is good for anyone who also has some European plugs. We have a camera we bought in Germany, so we could use it onboard. Im glad I didnt pay another 500 for a balcony room. I was able to use that for excursions.  Read entire member review.

We had a Oceanview Stateroom (port hole) on Deck 5 (5580). It was close to the elevators at midship. When I selected our room online, it was under the F category. I would highly recommend this area on the ship. Our steward was Albert, who was extremely nice, cleaned the room daily, turned down the bed every evening (and left towel animals for us), provided clean towels when requested, checked and restocked the minibar as needed, and was always available. There was a place for everything in our room. I would highly recommend placing all of your belongings in the drawers, etc on the first day as this allows you room to move about the cabin. I had a large suitcase which we were able to store in the closet. It was just my husband and I in the room and there was plenty of room for all of our things. We had a great view of the ocean from the port hole. This was a quiet location on the ship; we did not have any problems with any of our neighbors. There is a safe in the room for you to use. We did use it the first couple of days (there are directions on how to set up the code). On day 3, however, when we went to open it, it wouldn't. We waited 5 minutes and then reentered our code and it opened. We weren't sure what the problem was, so we decided to not use it for the remainder of our trip.  Read entire member review.

We stayed in a standard oceanview cabin on deck 8, aft. It could accommodate 4 people. The bed configuration consisted of 2 twin beds, one pull down bed and one trundle bed. When the room was made up at night by our cabin steward, the trundle bed was positioned in between the two twin beds. This resulted in the entire width of our cabin being one "big" bed made out of 3 twin beds. Our cabin was interconnecting which was really convenient. Just a quick note about deck 8 itself. Very convenient to get to public areas and dining rooms. Some areas of deck 8 had a faint sewage smell throughout the duration of the cruise.  Read entire member review.

The ocean view porthole room was actually larger than I had expected! NCL made great use of the space with all the nooks and crannies to store stuff. The bed was very comfortable, as were the linnens. The only thing negative at all is that the carpeting has seen better days.  Read entire member review.
