Cabin 8028 is close to forward stair tower, convenient and a very quiet location. Partially enclosed balcony which cuts down on wind when at sea. Cabin not large but big enough for 2. Closet is good size, several shelves but only 3 small drawers.  Read entire member review.

8040 is a "hull" balcony. It is cheapest, as most prefer the full view. On winter out of NYC, the hull is actually a benefit - extra wind protection. Hull also offers extra privacy. Neighbor can't peek around wall.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 8048 has the enclosed balcony. It is located near the forward elevator and stairs. It is across from and next to crew exits but I heard absolutely no noise. It is very quite and there is only one other balcony next to you. Although it is a long walk to the food court it is well worth it.  Read entire member review.

Small balcony (restricted view). Plenty storage space. Cold water - not very cold or much force behind it. Great sized bed. Power shower nice & powerful but does have tendency to change temperature at will  Read entire member review.

Tiny Closet, Old fashioned TV,very slippery floors at entrances into ship from deck most dangerous especially as the floors are sloping and many people slipped over in the rush to get out of rain this definitely needs attention with a none slip surface, we had a wonderful cabin & balcony very quiet the walls were well sound proofed, the bed was really comfortable and very clean, the food was good and tasty and no shortage you could eat all day and night and five Restaurants to choose from, the idea of passengers sitting at a different table each evening is a very good way to meet people but if you wanted to sit at a table for two four six or more that was your choice  Read entire member review.

Good location, semi-enclosed balcony  Read entire member review.

Great midship location. Balcony had sun in morning and shade in afternoon-very nice for a Caribbean cruise. Nice size safe and plenty of storage. A little smaller than other balcony cabins. Big bathroom, strong shower, no conditioner.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 9654. Good cabin and balcony, quite close to stair well. No noise as located between 2 stateroom decks. Occasional 'ping' heard from the lift, but you get used to it!  Read entire member review.

Disappointing by Lscruiser
Tiny stateroom. You could not walk around the end of the beds without bumping the walls and feet of anyone sleeping. Balcony door whistled and when we complained we were told "if you closed it properly I would not do that." Finally when we persisted, the maintenance person discovered a bent lock that was preventing the door from closing properly. Only 2 outlets in the entire stateroom. Nice refrigerator but it was filled with "mini-bar" products. No coffee maker. Excellent bathroom - best I've ever seen on a cruise ship.  Read entire member review.

great balcony, quiet location, close to elevator, easy to navigate around the ship  Read entire member review.

Balcony cabin is smaller than on the other cruises we have been on. The pull out couch for 3rd person is horrible. It's way too hard. My son ended up sleeping between my husband and I because he absolutely could not get comfortable. A featherbed or egg crate on top might have helped. Pull down berth is nice, but our steward didn't leave ladders. That made it interesting until we hunted one down.  Read entire member review.

Good size cabin with balcony. 3 rooms away from elevator and didn't hear a peep. Coming home, the water was rough and the hangers in the closet were knocking into each other. My husband tied the belt from the robes in the closet to the hangers to stop the noise. No one told us that if you have a room next to your friends, the balcony opens so you can all sit together without going into the hallway. Leaving the gangway we saw the doors open. I like to watch TV at night to fall a sleep and I must have seen the same shows a dozen times. The news was current but the TV shows were all recorded. I lost count of how many times I watched Malcolm in the middle.  Read entire member review.

Bathroom too small. Knees hit the wall when you sit on the toilet. Had to open door to be able to fully extend arms to towel off from the shower. Shower door is great. Could use a few more shelves in the bathroom. Closet ample space. Like the combination safe. Bed area a bit tight but manageable  Read entire member review.

It was a typical NCL balcony cabin. We like the dial to communicate with the stewards. They need to put a drawer under the vanity.  Read entire member review.

cabins are small as are most. stick to cabins forward of the front stairs and elevators or beyond the aft stairs and elevators. There is much less foot trafic in these areas. Pick floors with cabins above and below.  Read entire member review.

Balcony was great, wonderful view. But that's not hard to do on the Inside Passage of Alaska. Room steward (Eric) was the only staff member that smiled and seemed happy. An electric kettle is included in the room which was a great item to have handy for a hot cup of tea or coffee. Robes were included with the room. For a cruise ship, the room size was big enough for the two of us. There was some jockeying to get around each other sometimes but that is to be expected for a stateroom on a ship.  Read entire member review.

I loved my balcony room, Deck 11. Just perfect for one or a couple, plenty of storage, comfortable deck.  Read entire member review.
