We loved our cabin and our Stewardess Goldie and her assistant Nathalogan. It was perfect towards the front of the ship #8018. The only slight downside was the loud music we could hear from the floors below us if we wanted an quiet evening in our cabin. Usually though by midnight it seemed to quiet down a bit. We loved our very quiet balcony and was very happy we did not upgrade to a mini suite which balconies were not as private. Our room was always spotless and was perfect for we two adults. I have no complaints and only compliments in regards to our cabin. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 9006 is very near the front of the ship. I'm told that the front is a little bumpier than cabins toward the middle and back. Since this was my first cruise, I have nothing to compare this to but a couple of nights, it was pretty rough to me. The cabin itself was small but very organized with enough storage space for both of us. The balcony was great and the room was very quiet. We had no problems with this cabin at all and our steward was absolutely wonderful. The room was spotless and and clean every time we returned to it. Read entire member review. |

Our room had plenty of space for two people. Bathroom also had enough space to move around as needed. Felt a lot of ship movement from the cabin. Could not hear noice from hallway noice. Read entire member review. |

Clean carpets, lots of hangars available in the closet, convenient to elevator but quiet without the hallway noise. Read entire member review. |

cabin 9050 is a balcony located on the starboard side and forward. Cabin is quiet and offered easy access to the forward stairs and elevator. We didn't hear any noise above, below or outside the stateroom. Being on the starboard side offered great views of the ship arriving in Ketchikan and Juneau. No issues with the room. Very small balcony room! TV was antiquated, a small 11 inch tube type on the shelf. Flat screen TVs are so inexpensive now, and the Jewel still has this awful tv in service. Edges of carpet around room was not vacuumed, center of floor was clean but no effort taken for cleaning edges! Read entire member review. |

good size cabin and toilet facilities, ample storage, convenient to activity decks. TV screen too small. Watch your head on the shelf where the tv sits. Read entire member review. |

Directly opposite aft elevator bank. Very quiet room overall though given the location. Has a door to the cabin next door going aft (9146). This room has a third berth which comes out of the ceiling by the balcony. Room is in great shape with no visible signs of wear. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 9522 is in much need of reupholstering and new rugs as this ship is really starting to show its age. We moved the couch to a different area of the cabin and the rugs needed a through cleaning. The balcony had a dirty, wet washcloth on it all week from the last cruise. Read entire member review. |

9606- positives: storage space, mini fridge, large safe, storage in the bathroom, partition in the bathroom between shower-sink-toilet
nice linens and bed super comfortable as a KiNg size
negatives: small and outdated carpet, tv, furniture, very little space to walk
def not recommended for more than 2 passengers. Read entire member review. |

Since there were 3 adult women the room was a little cramped. For 2 it would have been fine, space wise. It wasn't taken care of very well, dusty, dirty glasses, not always filling ice bucket, expired items in the refrigerator. The shower was nice. Read entire member review. |

This is a family cabin and sleeps 4 comfortably. However, it will not sleep 4 adults, but if you are traveling with younger children(below 10) this cabin is a great option. Read entire member review. |

My Cabin was 10044 great location. large bathroom and room. Very clean. The view from the balcony was fantastic... The seals were on our side when we got to Sawyers Glaciers... there also were whales sightings on my side of the ship. It was chilly at night so too cold to sit out but lots of room if we did. We fit two large suitcases under the bed. We had enough room to hold all our stuff. The shower was hot, but if you are large in the butt, you may have a tough time in the toilet section! The thermostat worked well. We were on the 10th floor, starboard, and really enjoyed the room. Not large, but big enough for its purpose. Not much to watch on TV. You have Fox News, MSNBC, ESPN, a couple kids channels, ship-based channels, and a couple channels that show old shows. No clock in the room either. Internet access costs $100 for 250 minutes, or $55 for 100 minutes. Read entire member review. |

10506 - it's so close to the front of the ship that there's practically no traffic in the hallway! Secluded but not at a secluded price. The stateroom was tiny and the floor under the bed wasn't so clean. But we wouldn't have noticed if we hadn't been cramming the suitcases under it. We took extra plastic hangers which came in handy. But there was plenty of room for 2 adults who packed everything from parkas to bathing suits. By the way, we didn't need the parkas. The bathroom was tiny but fine. We got in the habit of showering in the spa so didn't use the stateroom's shower as much as we would have otherwise. This cabin being at the front is just an easy 2 flights down from the spa and fitness center. And it's just outside the spa and fitness center that you'll find the pools. We took a powerstrip and plugged it into the desk outlet and set it on the top shelf after we moved the coffee maker to the closet since we didn't need it. The perch of the shelf made a handy place for charging all our cameras and notebooks. Having the balcony was great. Waved at the crew on the bridge a time or two. If you want to watch the piers while the ship is docked, stay on the starboard side. Port side usually faced the water except in Victoria. This was fine with us though. Read entire member review. |
