LIke any other cabin on other ships....but bathroom was a bit bigger. Beds need replacing.  Read entire member review.

CAbin 8522- well maintained, much larger shower and bathroom than expected. Bedding as OK, balcony was great- no obstruction and good sized. It was a little short on cabinet space that was enclosed so some clothes just sat out in open space behind the cabin door that could have been at least partially enclosed.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 9108 (BA category, mid-ship balcony room on the 9th floor) Having sailed on Princess and Royal Caribbean previously, I found the balcony cabin and balcony to be on the small side, but for the amount of time we spend in the cabin, it was comfortable for 2. The bathroom was the roomiest and there was adequate closet space. Cabin 9108 is in an ideal location - up the midship elevators and 4 doors aft on the starboard side. We never heard any outside noise and the room was central to all locations on the ship.  Read entire member review.

118 - cute little cozy room which is what you would expect on a cruise - we had a crib and then my older daughter's bed came OUT OF THE CEILING at night - our cabin attendant would pull it down and make it up for us - she loved this and it was a real space saver!!  Read entire member review.

Jewel of a Time by Cruiser1978
Great balcony (Sliding doors with optional openings if rooms are connected), Decent bathroom (tiny toilet area but comfortable shower with a shower head that can be raised/lowered, temperature control can be kept same temp. for every shower); Close to mid-ship stairwell / elevators; Decent closet and shelving space; Bed took up majority of room, but fine for two people.  Read entire member review.

Cabin fine for two folks, or family with one young child. We had thought about bringing our 19yr old son. Glad we didn't pull out right on top of the king size bed.  Read entire member review.

We had booked 3 balcony cabins, 2 on deck 10 and ours on deck 9. Our cabin was right at the aft elevator bank, but it was larger and much more comfortable than the cabins on deck 10. It was still quiet, so we loved it.  Read entire member review.

Room 10038 (Starboard Balcony) Location convenient to elevators serving Garden Buffet, Spinnaker Lounge, Poolside. Quiet except for one late night neighbor party. View of pier in Port Canaveral and Nassua. Sun rises on way back to NY. Beautiful early morning view of NYC skyline coming back into port.  Read entire member review.

BA is a 215 sq ft stateroom with 2 twin beds together as a king. Very comfortable sleeping. Too hot & humid for balcony door to be opened & AC worked great. Towel animals every night. No choclates on pillows anymore. Water boiler instead of coffeemaker with instant coffee offered. Bathroom has shower with dispenser of shampoo & shower gel, then center is sink with hand soap dispenser & to the far left is toilet with sliding glass door. So using the toilet while someone is in shower is fine. Sliding glass doors make privacy. Closet with sheving for storage. TV has 3 drawers for clothes and the hair dryer is left of closet with mirror and small wooden shelf for makeup. Mini bar that steward will clar our for you to use as fridge with safe atop it.  Read entire member review.

This was a nice cabin on the starboard side of the ship forward. It was in a quiet location not too far from the elevators. Handy to run up a couple of flights of stairs to the pool, Great Outdoors etc. Kettle in room was a bonus.  Read entire member review.

NCL = Never Care Line by CaptainKirk
Nice balcony cabin on the 10th deck very close to restaurants and activites and yet very quiet. The balcony was very small though, you can barely relax on it and you cannot eat on it, too small. To get a bigger balcony, you have to upgrade to a mini suite on the 11th deck. Princess cruises has a balconey twice the size for the same price.  Read entire member review.

The best holiday so far! by dopeyngrumpy
10090 - good location above and below other cabins and only 2 doors from the midships lifts. No noise at all. Only issue is with the sofa bed out you cannot get onto the balcony and the closet isn't made for 3. Would be great for 2 people.  Read entire member review.

A beautiful ship with beautiful colours by Globetrotter of the Seas
Nice to have balcony. Small cabin but nice colours and design. Quiet location but the balcony-door was noisy at nights when the waves were high. Coffee- and tea-making facilities. Bathrobe by request. Laundry-service. No complimentary hair-balsam or body lotion. New towel-animals every evening!  Read entire member review.

Great location. Mid-ship is very convenient and being on deck 10 allowed us to walk up or down to many activities. Love the fact the balcony dividers can be opened up.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was bigger than we expected and we really enjoyed the balcony and king sized bed. The closet and bathroom were workable.  Read entire member review.

AFT BA category is the way to go. These have a larger balcony than the port or starboard balconies. Not much time spent in the room in the first place, but the time you do spend is outside looking at where you just visited. Or just getting that panoramic view while underway. No noise from the outdoor cafe above nor vibrations or noise from the propulsion system.  Read entire member review.

Good, not great by Steph27
10168 aft is a great location. Balcony is larger than regular BA. I suggest they leave the loungers on the balcony so you do not have to request them. Closet is a good size but decor is too jaring. Orange, pink and blue are not my favorite color combinations.  Read entire member review.

balcony - 10 aft decent size room for 2 people. any more and you wouldn't be able to walk! closet space was good for storing luggage & our clothes. 3 decent size drawers & 4 good size shelves as well. Bathroom was small but comfortable. 1 bed & a small couch in the room along with a few corner tables. Balcony is wonderful! Fit a lounge chair, small table & 2 deck chairs with plenty of room!  Read entire member review.

Across from art gallery storage, so sometimes you find carts of artwork in front of your door. Lots of soot from the incinerator collects on the balcony railing and chairs.  Read entire member review.

Best Cruise Yet by rick@rickrotsch.com
We had a balcony on the 10th floor aft. The cabin was nice, typical for a cruise. The balcony had a great view. I had loud neighbors which was annoying because if their balcony door was open when mine was I could hear everything. Had they been a little more respectful and quiet, it would have been fine.  Read entire member review.

Best Vacation Ever! by johndeere02
Port side balcony on the Jewel (Category BA midship)- Room and bathroom were small, but functional. Plenty of storage space. We put suit cases under the bed and in closet. Fridge was big enough to keep a few extra beers and bottles of pop in. Bed was comfy. I liked being able to have control over how warm/cool our room was. Balcony was wonderful. We figured out how to open the doors between balconies so our whole group had one large balcony! It was always very quiet in our hall.  Read entire member review.

Barely average for a balcony cabin on a newer ship. I think it was only 167 sq. ft., and in spite of a commodious shower the bathroom was tiny beyond belief. I could as well barely make out the tiny TV screen from across the room. Other than that it was what you might expect on a moderately-priced cruise line/  Read entire member review.

Awesome trip by advancedalgebra
Our cabin was on deck 9 and slightly aft of midship. Nice size closets and drawers, very comfortable beds (had ours divided into 2 twins), comfortable couch, nice sit down vanity area with hair dryer and mirror. The bathroom divided into 3 compartments-shower, sink, and toilet. Toilet could be a tight fit for a larger person. TV, hot water pot, refrigerator and mini-bar and small table. Balcony with a great view and protected from the wind. We did not hear any noise from the hallway or adjacent cabins. Each night we found a new "towel animal" on our bed. Nice touch!  Read entire member review.
