Mini suite was great. Lots of room. Bar fridge is a great idea. Coffee maker in room. Large bathroom. Very quiet. Large balcony...especially when you have adjoining rooms; balconies are doubled in size then!  Read entire member review.
11002
We were booked in 11002, a starboard AF mini-suite, pretty much identical to the AF that we had on the Gem a year earlier. We were very pleased with the location and accommodations spacious, plenty of storage drawers, roomy closet with lots of hangers, spacious balcony, coffeemaker, a safe that was eye-level, a desk with two chairs (the hair dryer was stored in one of the desk drawers), a roomy sofa that could be made into another bed if needed, a small (old-style CRT) tv, a small coffee table, a curtain that could be drawn to separate the tv/sofa area from the beds, a bathroom with a full tub, and a mini-fridge that was stocked but still had enough room for the bottles of soda that we had carried on. We were originally intending to have the steward empty the fridge but we decided that it really wasnt necessary. We picked 11002 because it was the last AF on the starboard side and it was under the spa, which (to me) meant the likeliness of noise would be close to zero (this proved to be true). We also thought that 11002 would have only one neighbor, which also reduced the chance of noise. However, we didnt know that there were several cabins forward of our cabin that were used for crew members. In fact, Darin Wyman (our Cruise Director) was right next door! As it turned out, noise was never a factor at all. Since 11002 was all the way forward, it did lead to lots of walking when we wanted to do anything at the stern of the ship (mainly dining in Tsars Palace or the Great Outdoors, or going to the Galleria Shops). However, for our purposes, it was still a convenient location since it was below the Spinnaker Lounge and above the Stardust Theater and Jewel Club Casino (all places that we frequented). The two beds had been prepared as a single bed. We asked the steward to separate the beds and it was done later in the afternoon. We also requested extra towels to be supplied throughout the cruise no problem there either. Two bathrobes were hanging in the closet and two beach towels were laid out on the bed. The bathroom was partitioned into three sections. On one side was the toilet, separated from the rest of the bathroom by a sliding door. In the middle was the sink area with several small shelves on the wall, probably adequate for most peoples toiletries. A liquid soap dispenser is mounted on the wall. There is also a shelf under the sink with a built-in trash bin. Also mounted on the side wall is a Kleenex dispenser. On the left side of the bathroom is the tub. The tub is very deep, so getting in and out of the tub may not be as easy as at home. Theres a clothesline above the tub and the tub has a 3-part sliding door, not a curtain. The tubs water controls might be a little tricky to some: instead of a cold water knob and a hot water knob, there is just a single water knob (on the left) for water pressure. The temperature of the water is controlled by a knob on the right, with the temperature indicated in degrees Celsius.  Read entire member review.

Overall the cabin was in good condition. Noise from above the cabin during daylights hour such as chairs being scraped across the deck above made it noisy during the daylight hours and going into and out of ports. A vent was dislodged under the desk during the entire voyage and one of the desk chairs was missing a foot/tip to glide across the carpeting.  Read entire member review.

Family fun for all! by tj&3littlecuties
We loved our mini suite with balcony. You can't beat having your own little slice of paradise. We never heard a peep from neighbors. My husband says he heard noise from overhead (dancing at the pool area.) but, honestly, anytime there was something going on there, we were up participating! Our suite had a tub which was nice for the little one. The 6 & 9 year old preferred the inside cabin because of the cool bed which came down from the wall.  Read entire member review.

11046, deck 11, forward, starboard. Mini-suite. Nice balcony. Quiet location, heard no noise from above, below, from adjoining rooms, or from the hall. Had bath tub with glass-enclosed shower. Lots of storage. Closet was in awkward position next to the bed, but we knew that ahead of time. Good hairdryer, magnifying vanity mirror, fridge, coffee maker.  Read entire member review.

Chilly but Fun by anchor38
Our mini-suite 11084 was very nice. We wished we had been on the Port side to have better views. Marvin kept it spotless morning and evening. Outstanding towel animals, too. The linens were very comfortable. We were situated in the middle of the ship on deck 11. It seems like we did a lot of walking, restaurants on the back and theater and Spinnakers on the front. There was a huge amount of storage and drawers and luggage fit under the big bed.The bathroom had shelves above the sink and under the sink, racks and hooks on the door. Had a nice bathtub and roomy shower. We never used the refrigerator, but did use the safe. We wished for better TV. We got an extension cord to use the cpap machine. Our keys wouldn't work in the door the first day and we joined a long line of people with the same problem at the reception desk. Our cabin was ready before 2PM and our luggage arrived soon after that.  Read entire member review.

We enjoyed our mini-suite. It's not that much bigger than a balcony room, but it's enough to make a difference. More storage space and more "walk around" room.  Read entire member review.

We were in cabin 11122 located starboard side aft by the stairway to the buffet. Great location to run up and grab a cup of coffee or a snack without bothering for room service. We did occasionally hear a bit of noise from the buffet. Not enough to offset the great location. I feel the "Mini Suite" is well worth the few extra bucks for the room. Some folks feel the room doesn't matter because you are never in it. I believe, in my humble opinion, if it's nice enough you would spend more time in it. I'm not a Bingo person and love sitting on my balcony with a "cup o' joe" watching the ocean go by from time to time.  Read entire member review.

Noise warning: we had cabin 11132, which is located in the starboard aft section of the ship. At times there was considerable noise from the area above us (buffet tables). While this didn't bother us, I would strongly recommend against this cabin or cabins in the same general area if you're sensitive to noise. On last year's Gem cruise, we heard virtually no noises in cabin 11120, which is located a few cabins forward, so perhaps it's just the last few starboard cabins to be wary of.  Read entire member review.

Smokers heaven by Justlimin
Aft section cabin, great views from smallish balcony, if you dont smoke avoid as smoke from adjoining balconies is very intrusive making balcony unusable. Bed mattres very soft, bedding valance tatty and stained. Stains on sofa, old fashioned bulky t.v . Bathroom o.k . Quiet location as no one walks past.  Read entire member review.

Mini Suite 11502. Great location. Quiet. Right by the bridge viewing room. Needs a TV upgrade. Wireless doesn't work to good but if you bring a cable and hard wire your laptop it works better. 2 decks below Spinnaker lounge so its is easy to get soda or drinks.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 11520, and 11522 had the beginning of the gym above them, so early in the morning, sometimes at 6AM, you could hear a person running on the treadmill. Pound, pound, pound...  Read entire member review.

Mini suite on 11th floor(11554) was very roomy. Deck was nice/private with two comfortable chairs. Air conditioning was spot on. Very quiet area as there were no cabins across from us. Did not hear any noise from crew space or from above or below.  Read entire member review.

Awesome Cruise by Jatimer
The location of the cabin was very handy to get to most places since it was near the main stairs, spotlessly clean, lots of storage, great balcony (and on the right side of the ship when at port to see the port.)  Read entire member review.

Cabin 11572 is DIRECTLY UNDER THE KIDS' SPLASHLAND PLAYROOM. That means that all day long we heard the pounding of jumping and running kids though our ceiling. It forced us out of our room.  Read entire member review.

The mini-suite on 11th floor, the room was great for a family of 4. Nice size balcony. The drawers were very deep and room. Closet right amount of space, the bathroom just enough space. The 11th floor could hear alot of what was going on the 12th floor. We stayed under the kids camp at times it was to noisy. Overall I thought being by the elevator we would get upset we didn't hear anything.  Read entire member review.

11th deck mid-ship mini-suites on port side is directly under the children's "Underground" with "quiet" time not starting until 10:00PM. The cabins are not inhabitable in the evening until then.  Read entire member review.

Noise from kids club located above this cabin is unbearable. Many times I was chased out the cabin by noise from kids running and jumping above and practically could not use the balcony. The noise did not stop until way after 10 PM.  Read entire member review.

Transatlantic by MrLTrizz
Full bathroom, good sized balcony - the last cabin towards the aft has a 33% larger balcony than the other mini-suites and does not have the same overhang as the rest so the view is incredible - highly recommended. The mini-suites are very comfortable with plenty of room. I highly recommend the larger room & balcony if you prefer to spend time in your cabin or on your balcony. However - the balcony does not have complete privacy so if you are up towards the railing, you can see all the other balconies on your deck and your neighbors can see you as well.  Read entire member review.

Great location midway between the mid and aft elevators. Could hear the pool band as slight background noise when out on the balcony.  Read entire member review.

11656, mini suite AFT has the Great Outdoors upstairs with wood floor & steel tables & chairs. Freezing Cnanada hs them roped off s they were stacked not to be used. Area closed so we have peace & quiet. But Caribbean I'd not take it. Have had Celebrity, RCCL, Princess staterooms with noisy upstairs & they could care less.  Read entire member review.

11578 was located in the mid section, close to the elevators but not right out there. I was happy with the location. bigger balcony, and it is not exposed. However, it does get a bit of noise during kids club hour, as it is right underneath it.  Read entire member review.

mediocre at best by taylorest
11152 is called a mini suite. It is actually smaller than a regular balcony cabin on RCCL Splendor of the Seas that we sailed on last year. It's in the tern of the ship so we had a good view of where we had been.  Read entire member review.

Mini-suite with a large balcony. The closet is enormous and there was plenty of storage and drawer space. It was close to the elevator. It was a little noisy during the day as it is located below the Kids' Club, but not horribly bothersome.  Read entire member review.
