9096 (Starboard) - Close to elevators and stairs, but far away enough to be quiet. Sufficient storage space. Fair size for the cabin grade we had. Will always have a balcony as it was a treat to view coming into port and extended the size of the room. Hallway was quite as there were very few kids in our area. Much better than many hotels. Getting off the ship for final disembarkment needs some work. Hard to hear the PA system with the number of people in the area. We had a room with baloney on the very back of the boat. Our baloney was twice the size of the rooms with balconies on the side of the boat. We had plenty of room for a chair, table, and a full size lounge chair. You also get longer views of leaving the islands, the volcano lava flows, and the Na Pali Coast. Small, but efficient room. good sized balcony, 2 lounge chairs and table. Hair dryer on table with mirror..great..not tying up the bathroom. Layout good. beds can be single or moved to kingsize. Lots of drawers, adequate cupboard..lots of hangers!!! Look for cabinet in bathroom that you mught miss. Also extra space below sink. The balcony room (9676) was very similar to the Norwegian Star and Norwegian Pearl, but the bathroom is noticeably smaller. There was lots of storage in the room, and it never felt cramped. The port side balcony was great for viewing the Napali coast, and I recommend that side of the boat for balcony rooms. The only issue was a urine smell in the bathroom. The best amenity in the shower: several small racks stacked in the corner of the shower. The lowest one at the perfect height for propping a foot for shaving legs! Our cabins were located aft on level 10, which meant we were under the Little Italy restaurant. I was concerned when I found out it might be noisy, but except for a few late night short-lived cleaning noises, it was fine. Anyone on level 10 aft on the starboard side probably had lots of noise from the Aloha Cafe. The port side was best for views in port and leaving port, except for Maui.  Read entire member review.
