Great Trip by Joanna6
We stayed in room 11024. Good sized room with what I thought was a HUGE balcony. It is on the starboard side which is best for night viewing of lava at Kilauea, but has the shorter time to view the Pali Coast as the captain cruises longer on the port side for that.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was small but always clean and really it was roomy enough. Our cabin steward was always cleaning it when we were away. We had a cabin with a balcony which was our favorite part. Sitting out on the balcony at night was very relaxing with a beautiful view of the ocean and the full moon. I might add that we were exactly mid-ship on the 8th deck right by the elevators which was extremely convenient to everything...and we were not bothered by the elevator traffic/noise.  Read entire member review.

Small cabin with good view, nice balcony, more than adequate storage space. Very quiet.  Read entire member review.

We had cabin 8578, a mid-ship balcony. We chose this cabin to help reduce sea-sickness, and found that it was not very rocky, even when cruising fast on the open ocean. Also, the accessibility of fresh air from the balcony was very helpful with sea-sickness. This cabin gave us great views of the Napali coast during the sail-by, and also a nice view of the mountains when docked in Kaui. The cabin had a few maintenance issues, such as a broken door and a door lock that sticks - but these were minor problems that did not detract from our experience.  Read entire member review.

Typical balcony cabin with poky bathroom. Balcony overlooks lifeboats. Very comfortable bed. No noise problems. Plenty of hanging and drawer space for a week's clothes.  Read entire member review.

Cruising thru Paradise by David Dougherty
Small but adequate neat and clean, TV did to work well but I didn't. Cruise for the TV balcony view on starboard side was great. Room steward excellent  Read entire member review.

This cabin was very quiet even though it was under the pool. We didn't consider the balcony's view obstructed because of the overhang and the supports for the upper deck. We felt it gave us more privacy.  Read entire member review.

Great Honeymoon by shalca
Good sized room for a ship. The queen/king sized bed is really two full beds pushed together, but you can't feel any split between the two. Small but very efficient bathroom. Great Balcony. You're view is somewhat restricted at the sides of the balcony since deck 11 is wider than deck 10. But the trade off is that you have more privacy on your balcony. You're not greeted every morning by your next door neighbor. There is a connection between this room (10062) and the next (10060), as they can be purchased together by a family.  Read entire member review.

Deck 10 balcony cabins had a problem I didn't realize until after booking. The supports come up on both sides of the balcony so your view is obstructed somewhat to the forward and rear. But as a positive, you have a little more privacy from your next door neighbors. The other problem with it is that if you have cigarette smokers below you who are rude and ignore the rules about not smoking on the balconies, then the smoke is drawn right up into your balcony and cabin. As far as whether starboard or port is best, we felt like starboard was a good choice. The volcano viewing could be done right from our balcony and it was late at night, so that was nice. For the Na Pali coast, you have to be out on the port side, but it is still daylight, so we didn't mind sitting up on deck waiting to begin that part. As far as views in port, you always dock in a warehouse area, so I don't think one side or the other really matters. And if you are in port all day like we were, you aren't sitting there anyway until after you depart.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was as good as you can get on this ship without going into the big suites. Closet was almost unusable, somewhat noisy from the pool deck, hallway was very quite. Balcony was OK, but had a big overhang from pool deck which blocked the view somewhat. Jemma, our cabin steward was GREAT. Not enough drawers and almost impossible for 2 people to move around.  Read entire member review.

Great Room, deceptively spacious, great view of islands all the time, balcony very enclosed so unable to sunbathe on balcony. Good facilities.  Read entire member review.

Trip to Hawaii by nickatnight
balcony cabin 10098--plenty of room to store clothes/ suitcases. Two doors from stairway but very quiet--only change I would have liked is if we were on the other side of the ship our view would be much better. We were always on the docked side--not much to see there. Up one flight was buffet and pool area. Easy to find your way around.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin, cabin # 10102, was great. Not noisy and no smokers on the balconies adjacent to us which made it nice since we are not smokers. It was convenient to the stairs and elevators, just a deck down from the buffet so great location for popping in for breakfast before heading off for the day.  Read entire member review.

Large balcony, small room, extremely small shower. Back balcony is great when viewing the islands and the volcano from your own room.  Read entire member review.

PoA ticked the boxes by James Coulton
Cabin a little smaller than on other ships on which we've travelled, but we were aware of that before we started, and for a 7 night cruise was perfectly adequate.  Read entire member review.

Very Small Cabin Directly below recreation deck...lots of noise from above. Not a good balcony due to superstructure that supports Deck 11 overhang. Creates narrow balcony view and inability to talk to those on adjacent balconies. Avoid Deck 10 balcony cabins... Decks 8 or 9 are much better.  Read entire member review.

Small, can be noisy in the early morning as the crew prepare the deck above. Close to buffet which was pretty good.  Read entire member review.

Small room, great balcony except for being open to the buffet. People looking over at us and dropping food on occasion. Small shower and bathroom. Great linens. Buy TV's with head phone jacks so they can be used while one person sleeps.  Read entire member review.

Decent storage space, bright but tasteful colors, large balcony, noisy at set up for breakfast which is early in the morning and the aromas wafting down are great but distracting  Read entire member review.

First NCL cruise by gypsylady
Great balcony as it was protected and private from all sides. Closet was smaller than I have seen before but still adequate. Great location mid ship as it was close to the elevators. Port side view was great.  Read entire member review.

We seemed to have enough room for the two of us. The closet and drawers were ample and the balcony was nice because it was in the 10th deck it had a covering from the 11th so it was great in case it rained. The only draw back was the sliding door on the balcony was horrible to open and my wife haqd trouble doing it by herself.  Read entire member review.

It was one of the biggest cabins I have had in the new ships. Small, but right sized balcony, large bathroom, lots of room to move around. Storage a bit small, but manageable. Beds were comfortable and service good after the first night.  Read entire member review.
