We were in and oceanview cabin on the lower promenade deck.
The biggest issues were noise from the galley area above us and at 4:00 am when all the deck chairs on our deck were dragged to their locations. Read entire member review. |

Dual closets for hanging clothes a welcome touch, plenty of drawer space. Comfortable bed and well though out bathroom, though with the usual "How the ..... do you turn this shower on?"
We did find hallway noise from earlier risers who apparently especially pre-breakfast conversations.
Our cabin (398) was in an obstructed promenade location,(Sixth floor) and we wondered if we could be seen by passing passengers, even though the window appeared to be tinted to some degree. So we left the lights on and went outside to look in. We did not see ourselves, so we went back in, and...there we were!
This cabin was close to the stern and convenient for most activities, though the opposite end from the Show Lounge. The good thing? A great way to walk off dinner. Read entire member review. |

There is lots of storage, nice bathroom reno. The tub is small, but the water no longer smells funny.
The promenade deck is directly overhead, which causes some noise at night when people insist on jogging. Thump, thump, thump. The DVD player and free DVD lending library were nice. Maasdam's rooms are as good as you are going to get at this price point. Read entire member review. |
