Cabin was above and below smoking areas and apparently the ventalition system on this ship isn't that great. A problem for me, but maybe no one else. At least it was quiet.  Read entire member review.

We has a standard balcony room. I think for two people it was quite enough room. They have plenty on spaces to put your stuff. We didn't even use all the space that was available to us. We had Stateroom 8263, which was adjacent to the elevator bay. I was hesitant at first, concerned about potential noise (i.e., continual foot traffic, people constantly talking, etc). We heard NO noise at all. Perfect location.  Read entire member review.

8339 - Mid ship Balcony cabin. Comfortable bed, three large closets, Great Balcony view with two deck chairs and small table. Near the elevators mid ship. Good for being close to elevator, but you do hear noise from kids and people who talk loudly when they are walking to their rooms. Would move down one level. The buffet and pool deck are right above and you hear the scraping of chairs at night and in the morning and also when the crew rolls anything heavy from deck above.  Read entire member review.

Valor's balcony room on deck 6 had, stale cigarette odor for 7 days onboard. Below room was casino. Never heard the slots, but they had a small staging area in casino where a band played every night from 8 p.m. till 1:30 a.m. and the bass drum sound permeated through the floor, or mattress and pillows. Couldn't sleep much for 7 days with the banging of the bass drum. With tv on you could still hear the noise. Everything else was okay in the room. They did leave a paper when we got into the room that talked about dust clouds?? and had a pic of a bug on the paper. They said don't put luggage under bed. They could get into luggage.
