Great cruise. Very satisfied!

Cabin was nice, room was awerage size, the bed and pillows were a lot more comfortable than we had on the Pride last year. Refrigerator wasn't all that cold. Normal cabin.  Read entire member review.

We had 2 rooms on the 11th floor Spa Deck, both had nice size balconies and were very comfortable. Our rooms were underneath Camp Carnival so it's little noisy during the day. The Spa deck balconies do not provide the privacy of the lower decks so please beware you are being watched. The 12th deck is used primarily for Camp Carnival and for passengers observing the beautiful views of the ocean and ports and they can look right down on your balcony. Rooms are close to elevators, pools, outside decks, fitness center, spa and food. Not a lot of foot traffic and very quite at night when it matters most.  Read entire member review.

Cabin was always kept clean and neat. The steward made different animals with our towels. Our beach towels were changed every day.  Read entire member review.

Inside cabin 1341. Very quiet area. Beds pulled out from walls, can sleep up to 4. Banged head on overhead beds often. Very stuffy and warm at times. A lot of college kids on this deck, acting like college kids. Close to self serve laundry. Very clean.  Read entire member review.

cabin 1415. It was tight with 2 adults and 2 children. No window. We had 3 large suitcases and was a lot of shuffling around when we needed to get something out of the suitcase. No fridge. Tight quarters, but doable.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 1445: Must be directly over an engine or something because everytime the ship was docking it was like an earthquake. Quiet location, good closet space, comfortable bed. Connects to room 1449.  Read entire member review.

Had really 2 rooms, despite the floor plan of bunk beds. Heard the waves crashing against the boat.  Read entire member review.
2229
It was an inside cabin but we felt it was very spacious. More than enough room for all of our stuff. Superbly clean.  Read entire member review.

We had an interior room with pull down bunks for the two kids. It was a little tight, but ok for as much as we were there.  Read entire member review.

cabin okay space wise, could've used more hangers. love the picture window, not far from elevator, midship, port side.  Read entire member review.
2362
The cabin had a big beautiful window so we could see the ocean and all the ports. The location was right by the elevators which was both good and bad; good because it was so close and bad because I heard "ding" all night long.  Read entire member review.

Great Fun! by BEATRAVELERNOTATOURIST
Roon 2388 was very roomy. The bathroom was adequite but be sure to take an extension cord - there's only 1 AC outlet. The safe is good for jewelry and papers but will not accommodate a laptop. VCRs or DVD players are not available, so either watch movies on the laptop (as we did) or watch the ship channels. Our cabin attendant was awesome. The food was good, plentiful, and hot. Gourmet it isn't but we were never hungry. Smoking was an issue especially going to the Internet Cafe and in some areas around the pool. After passing through the cigar room enroute to the Internet Cafe, there's a good chance you'll reek. Very poor design. The beds were excellent and room service was attentive. Clearing customs in Miami (like most things in Miami) takes some extra patience. Either go down very early or wait for a while. Enjoy the Valor - we did!  Read entire member review.

We had great rooms, 3 in all. we had cabins 2404, 2408 and 2412. We had all we could need,. Also the steward was wonderful  Read entire member review.

Cabin 2411. Awful noise. It seemed as though we were under a construction site or a basketball match with bowling balls all day and all night. Apparently we were under a particularly noisy area of the galley. Carnival shouldn't sell these cabins at all. It's impossible to get sleep even with music and earplugs. They have a lot of nerve selling these cabins to people who precisely book a cruise to try to have some relaxation and vacation time.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 2450 and 2452 location good but a lot thruster noise and vibration. Ocean view very spacious with plenty of closet room. Bathroom size was good and amenities in the bathroom were a nice touch.  Read entire member review.
2457

The room was in the back corner and was very private. It sleeps only two. It was comfortable for the two of us and very quiet. There was plenty of space for storage. There is no cabin below it and the dining room is just above. You might hear a tiny bit of dining room music when they are singing, but that's it. There is some noise as the ship slows down in port or as it leaves, but otherwise that is the extent of it.

Positives-0 Cabin 2904. Was bigger stateroom than Royal Carribean. Ample amount of closet space and drawers. Bathroom adequate and clean. Plenty of hot water and faucet easy to operate. Plenty of towels and steward kept room very clean. Air conditioner worked fine. TV worked well and plenty of stations. Although the rooms on lower decks may be smaller, I dont think you feel the ships rocking motion as bad as you do on top decks. We thought our room was rather quiet. Sometimes you feel the rumble of the ocean against the hull but not a big deal. Room service was good and didnt take too long. Negatives- only one outlet and you cant use an iron. Fridge was so packed with provided things there was hardly any room for my own stuff like food and drinks purchased on board.  Read entire member review.

Located on the Upper Deck on the bow of the ship. Very private location but a hike to the elevators and a marathon to the stern. Loved the passenger walkway, but very, very dark at night, no lights on the bow when underway. Great during the day. You feel the motion of the ocean being on the bow, but it did not bother us.

Wonderful by lesleywoollard

Very good size, spotlessly clean, room service available. Room cleaned daily. This cabin was above the bar area but we did not hear any noise. Plenty of cupboard space. Balcony had two chairs and a small table so nice to sit out on if you want some privacy. We were more than happy with this cabin.

Paradise Found by esoteric escort
the cabins are small, true! but who wants to spend time in their cabin other than to sleep and shower? one bit of advice: this was our own fault and nothing against any cruise line...... DO NOT MAKE RESERVATIONS FOR 3 ADULTS IN ONE CABIN. Friendships will be lost! There were 3 of us, 2 men and one woman (friends only, nothing else) and by the 7th day, we had fully gotten on each others' nerves.  Read entire member review.

This was an Ocean Suite (aka a Junior Suite) - very spacious with a bedroom, small dressing room and full bathroom including whirlpool tub. Nice cabin, very well located close to lido deck (deck 9) and buffet (deck 9) but without any noise problems despite being so close to all the action. Our first time with a suite, it was fun because it was really inexpensive but I'm not sure if I would splurge again, would probably just book an inside cabin and save the $$. Balcone was fairly small.  Read entire member review.

We absolutely loved this cabin. The location was perfect - it was quiet and out of the way. The cabin itself was spacious and had plenty of storage. The balcony was FANTASTIC. It was large and we had great views of every port.

Nice cabin, but balcony a little small for the lounge chairs. Regular chairs would fit better. We could clearly see in the bridge from the balcony, which of course means the bridge personal could see our balcony too. Worth noting if you're into nude sunbathing!  Read entire member review.

OUR ROOM was an inside cabin on the "Verandah" deck and was a "jewel box." We loved our room steward Witaywa, who couldn't do enough for us (we gave him a little extra$.) There was plenty of storage & had room to spare.
I thought we had a nice bedroom at home, but after experiencing the bedding in our stateroom, I'm looking into buying the Carnival brand bedding. The shower was roomy, even for my guy who's 6' 2' & 215lbs.

The room was very spacious, with a couch and table, and lots of closet space. We also had 8229, next door. We asked at Customer Service to have the partition opened between our two balconies. It was great! We could see the officers standing in the Bridge area from our balcony. There are just staterooms above and below, so no noise. Very comfortable.

the cabin was fine other than the fact I asked for a room where the least noise would be heard and I was put directly under swimming pool and band area...the view was great, the noise from outside the cabin and even inside...squeaks and lighting fixtures...all the noise was very annoying and upsetting when I specifically asked for a quiet room.  Read entire member review.

Cabin was overall quiet, seemed that since we were located close to the pool that you could hear a slight humming that I'm assuming was related to pool operation of ensuring it stayed filled. Nothing major and didn't cause me to get any less sleep.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was veranda deck aft. Typical Carnival balcony. We were able to run upstairs to the buffet easily to grab a cup of coffee or refill our ice bucket. Would never do a cruise again without being on a balcony. Love waking up early and watching the ship come into port, or late in the evening wearing the big fluffy robes and having a glass of wine before bed and turning off all the lights and listening to the ocean.

The cabin was a little smaller that Carnivals usual cabin size for a balcony cabin, however it was big enough and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was great and the seating on the balcony was great as well.

Nice cabin, very quiet, close to the bridge. You can go up one flight to Deck 10 forward to an outside deck with a great view and wings over the sides of the ship to help the Captain dock the ship. Great at night for stargazing. Lots of room for storage, the balcony dividers can be opened if you're traveling with friends in the next cabin, creates an illusion of more space. The bed was OK, but bring a long extension cord if you need a CPAP machine. A power strip enhances the single outlet in the cabin. You can use the outlet in the bathroom to charge iPad, cellphone, etc.  Read entire member review.

This room was next to the elevators on the 9th floor. It is a very busy area as the pool and buffet is located on this level. The best part is not having to walk very far to the elevators...this is a plus for us. After the 1st day you get used to the elevator noise. Never really heard much people outside our door. You could hear the singers on the 3rd floor but that was actually nice. The room was comfortable as I thought as advertised. I felt I got what I had paid for. We had three in our room, there was a bed that could have been for the 4th person in our cabin. It was tight with three but still okay.  Read entire member review.

Our inside Cabin was adequate for the amount of time spent in it. I loved the fact that the bathroom floor was pretty much all the same as the shower floor with a drain, because our bathroom drain seemed to get plugged easily (or it didn't drain as fast as the shower produced) and therefore our whole bathroom was flooded after each shower. The hallway was a bit noisy in the morning, but since we didn't have the natural light to wake us we were o.k. with the early morning banter.  Read entire member review.

Good location. Great service from the room staff, Frank. We took advantage of the wednesday offer of $20 for a bag of laundry to be washed, dried, folded and returned to the room. Best bargain available on the ship...having someone else do your laundry ;)  Read entire member review.

Cabin 2422 was located close to dining, but VERY far from shows, lounges, etc. We did an interior cabin (because that's all that was available when we booked) and they were SO SMALL!!! If you do four people in one of these cabins you will have to take turns standing up!!! Not kidding!! Two would lay on the beds while two dressed, showered, etc. We will NEVER do an inside cabin again.  Read entire member review.

Cabin #2356- Was oceanview spacious and clean. Just couldn't sleep at night due to LARGE water lines running MASSIVE amounts of water past this room all night long. Sounded like a pool draining next to the bed, and we were in the middle of the ship.  Read entire member review.

Great balcony, nice view. Worked out well with pulling into port and having land views rather than ocean views. Noisy folks around on their decks with chairs. VERY noisy below at the casino with the live band playing till 1am.  Read entire member review.

Our balcony cabin on Deck 10 was pretty much what we expected...except that the toilet did not flush properly throughout the voyage. The door to the balcony also did not close properly so there was a whistling sound during the really windy nights on board that we had to remedy by using some folded up paper and jamming it into the door frame. On our last day when we were readying to leave the ship, the entire bathroom flooded from the toilet. Thankfully we were on our way out. The cabin steward did a very poor job in tidying up the room and several times did not leave us enough towels. He forgot to empty the trash cans at least twice. He left dirty glasses on the counter twice. He never refreshed our beach towels even though the protocall was to refresh them before the stop at each port of call. On the next to the last day of the cruise when we were in Cozumel, there were workers outside on the balcony pushing the chairs around and opening up the adjoining doors and hosing the floor. We never received any prior notification that they would be working out there. Although our curtains were wide open, we were thankfully not doing anything "private" at the time but we were pretty startled when they came barreling through. One night our neighbors decided to watch TV--loudly. Be aware that the walls on these ships are not very thick.  Read entire member review.

Cabin: I did a virtual tour of the stateroom before I got on the ship and my room looked exactly like the one on Carnival's website. I was in a room with a widow, the level below those with a balcony. The window was large enough for me to sit in and look out at the water on the second floor of the ship. The view was fantastic. In retrospect, I think it would be worth the extra money to have a balcony view, but I was very satisfied with my view from the window. The room was large enough to walk around comfortably. It was clean and the cleaning staff took pride in making sure that we had plenty of clean towels and sheets. There was a TV, a safe and a mini bar (which remained locked even the sodas were $3.25). There was plenty of closet space and storage space. The couch even had extra pull out drawers, which was a bonus. Good lighting, pleasant decor, I was very pleased with my room and didn't mind spending time sleeping or relaxing. As a part of the service they charge you a mandatory fee of $70 for the cleaning staff. You can adjust to pay more if you're especially pleased with the service, but it will be charged to your sign and sail card by the middle of the cruise. I didn't particularly care for that. I think all those amenities should be included in the cruise price. Essential cabin amenity: A power strip. The room hand only one 110v outlet located near the middle of the room. I had a laptop, phone, video player, battery charger, curling iron, mp3 player and I was sharing a room with another person who had just as much electrical equipment. We had to trade off charging items and that was really a pain.  Read entire member review.
