We were offered an opportunity to upgrade (for $150 total) to an ocean view a week prior to our trip (no upgrades to veranda). We had booked the cruise far enough in advance that we had picked a room on Deck 6 midship. With the upgrade, we would be guaranteed a room but would not know until boarding which deck or room. We did not want to take the chance but another member of our party did and she was the last room on Deck 2 right over the engine. Her room was larger, brighter, but definitely LOUDER! No thank you. The inside stateroom was very dark and made for great sleeping, and was very quiet from the engines and people in the hallway. But we do need to remember a travel alarm clock that lights up (I'm not one for phones waking me up).
It has a coffee table which, next time, we will have them remove as it made it difficult to move around. We used a shoe rack the hangs on the door to keep our personal hygiene items. This eliminated clutter as counter tops were limited. The ice box did not get very cold. We won't pack as much clothing next time (2 days were spent in swimsuits) and will bring more hangers as the closet was large and the drawers were small. We made use of every space available in the cabin and were unable to unpack everything and store some suitcases under the bed. Read entire member review. |

Couch with small coffee table on side wall. Makeup mirror with a bench.
Double bed on the inside wall, single bed (out of couch), and bunk bed above.
Flat screen TV with ESPN, a couple news channels, cartoon channels, Disney promos and several recent movie channels.
Closet with a safety box and small shoe shelf. Fair amount of drawer and cabinet space.
Some noise of creaking when the boat rocks and maybe a little engine noise, but nothing too bad.
Disney Magic has 2 cordless phones plus 1 stationary phone for each room that work across the entire ship. You can call your room, the other cordless phone, or other guest phones. You can also text other phones and Disney sends text messages to the phones for some specific notifications (i.e. time the kid's club closes if your child is there). The kids clubs use these if your children want to contact you. Convenient. Read entire member review. |

The interior cabin was comfortable. The shower was slightly oversized compared to Princess (interior cabin) as the base made for a little bath for small children. The location was quiet and close to the stairs and elevators but not that you would notice any noise. Read entire member review. |

Cabin needed upgrading. My husband fixed the closed doors and all the squeaks etc. Cabin is a the very back of the ship. Getting around involved alot of walking. It is very tiny. Read entire member review. |
