This was our very first aft cabin and we really liked it. Its the roomy balcony that really makes the difference! We had two lounge chairs, two sitting chairs and a small table. We found the aft to be both sunny and protected from the wind. We were on deck 10 and did not notice any vibration. Noise from the props/wake was comparable to the constant sound of the ocean when at the shore. Noise from above, chairs moving and talking could be heard at times when out on the balcony but this was not a big deal. In the evening all was quiet. Cabin was in very good shape, a comfortable size. Bathroom was adequate. Read entire member review. |

It's 140 paces from the elevators to the aft cabins..... but we loved the balcony!! Signs of age and wear and tear apparant but not bad. Read entire member review. |

We had a balcony on the back of the ship so had an oversized balcony that was great - had 2 lounge chairs and 2 sit up chairs. It is however a long walk to the elevator. Read entire member review. |

Great location, balcony is extra large and was fantastic and there was plenty of storage. The television did not work great, but who wants to watch TV. Only complaint was we were close to the centrum and could hear the music while trying to sleep, but not a big deal at all. Read entire member review. |

The cabin was a standard D1 aft. Bed by the doors to the balcony. The balcony is very wide with a partial wrap around. But the wall is on an angle towards the corner and you have to contort yourself over a support pole and around the wall which goes right up to the pole. But you can do it. The balcony is also a little narrow for aft cabin, just enough room for the lounge chair to fit.
But we love the AFT cabins. Read entire member review. |

Standard Balcony room, but with a very large Aft view balcony. It is near the center. There seemed to be less vibration and movement that I have experienced on other Aft balcony ships. Lots of storage. Read entire member review. |

Great location mid ship. The waves from the front wake of the ship break just outside the cabin. Leaving the window open makes it sound like you are at the ocean. Read entire member review. |

Be careful of Balcony Cabin #9050, its companion on the opposite side of the ship, and cabins in same location on Deck # 7 and 8. A window washing machine is parked outside blocking at least 1/3 of your view. These cabins should be sold, and priced, as "Obstructed View", but are marketed at full price. We were in a hump cabin, category D1. The balcony was enormous. We had two lounge chairs and two regular chairs with a small end table out there, with plenty of room to walk. The one amazing thing about this particular cabin (aside from the wonderful balcony) was the fact that because we were traveling north for the majority of this cruise, we had sunsets every night. Just gorgeous! We didn't hear any noise from above and the location can't be beat - we were right next to the elevator bank (but never heard a peep from there!). I HIGHLY recommend this cabin! Our cabin was ideally located, just aft of the midship elevators on the port side. We had a big balcony, and a big room with lots of storage. The bathroom wasn't large but it, too, had plenty of storage. If you and your partner like to shower together, you'll find doing so difficult in the space. But for one, it was fine. Great balcony. Closet looked small but had sufficient room for all 4 of us. Across from entry to crew space but still quiet. Read entire member review. |

Cabin has good location on Deck 9. No cabins across the hall. Very quiet, no noise from above or below since it is between two cabin decks. Large pull out couch, and pullman above the couch, sleeps four. Balcony is standard size, but roomy enough. Two chairs and a good size table, enough to have breakfast on.
Bathroom is small, but it works. Rounded shower is a tight fit. The shampoo and soap are the only amenities nothing special in this D1 cabin but they work fine. They provided plenty of hangers in the closet, and though it is tight. Very tight between the closet and bathroom and entrance door. Read entire member review. |

This balcony cabin is well located on deck nine. There are no cabins across the hall, it is quiet with cabins above and below. It does not have a sofa bed, but this also means that is is much more comfortable to sit on. Perfect for stretching out and reading on long sea days. There is a pullman bed above the couch, so the cabin sleeps three. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 9576 is a Hump cabin on the starboard side near to elevators and library. Its balcony is larger than normal and has a lounger in addition to the standard two chairs and table. We loved the cabin and would book it again. Read entire member review. |

9582 is a D1 Cabin starboard side at the mid front of the Hump on Jewel of the Seas. It has a fantastic forward view and a good aft view if you lean out just a bit. Awesome location near Library and Centrum Elevators and stairs. The storage space for the 3 of us was adequate for us. Read entire member review. |

Cabin was very good. Bathroom was a bit cramped and still can't used to the "Tube" as in the Shower Tubes. But the cabin and the stewards were excellent and it was always kept clean. Read entire member review. |

Roomy cabin with ample stroage space. Close enough to elevator for convenience and far enough away to be quiet. Best deck loaction. Easy to walk down to 4th, 5th & 6th decks for dinner and activities. Could even walk up to windjammer on 11 when the elevators were passing our deck by. Read entire member review. |

Good size cabin with a reasonable size balcony with table and two comfortable chairs. Bathroom was fine with a shower that I could actually turn around in (different to some others) and a shower that actually worked like a shower should.
Bit of a walk to the lifts but at least we didn't get much passing traffic. Read entire member review. |

Cabin no 9658,was a decent size at the very rear of the ship on the starboard side. The balcony is double size with loungers which is great. The closet is not particularly big, with nowhere else to put my suitcase it had to go into the closet so all my shoes were squashed into a tiny space. There was some noise in the morning with the staff moving trolley's into the hallway but otherwise was very quiet. The shower room was adequate but there was a persisten problem with the lavatory becoming blocked on three seperate occasions. Read entire member review. |

Our balcony stateroom was #8426. Spacious enough for two people and had a nice size balcony. It was in a nice location on the boat - forward right - and close to the main elevators. Our attendant was great. Our room was cleaned twice a day and we had plenty of towels. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 9582: Well situated on Deck 9, close to Library, lifts and Centrum. Only downside was that music from evening entertainment in Centrum could be heard faintly in the room. Read entire member review. |
