We were in cabin 4021 and loved it! We had a balcony which we felt was a "must" for an Alaskan cruise. It was roomy and comfortable. There was plenty of room for clothes and the bathroom was very clean and the showers were always hot. No complaints!

This cabin is perfect for two people, and bordering on too small for three. It is designed smartly to make use of the limited space. We loved the small verandah on floor above the life boats. Other than the view directly below, they really don't impede the site lines. The mid ship location made for a very smooth sail.  Read entire member review.
Lots of storage space, small bathroom but does have tub, just over the lifeboats  Read entire member review.
Cabin 5083: Good closet space, lacked drawers, few electrical outlets, bathroom with tub and shower, good queen-sized bed, narrow entryway, verandah with plexiglass, pretty stable location, quiet.  Read entire member review.
We had heard that Holland had the largest cabins of all. We didn't find that to be true. It was as small as the rest of them. Also our balcony was very small.  Read entire member review.
Great location. I was afraid it was too open to the glass elevator, but people could not see us most of the time.  Read entire member review.
Our cabin was near the elevators and truthfully I didn't hear them. Our balcony was small but perfect for breakfast or star gazing. The only down side, we had the bright orange lifeboats under us. It didn't obstruct our view, it just was very ORANGE. I don't have any other cruises to compare but my husband tells me that we had more space than he had ever had for a Verandah. I found it cozy but not stuffy. We we're not in each others way when getting ready for anything. We had a combo bath/shower and it was fine. We had more than enough storage space and we came on board with 5 pieces of luggage and we had left over space.  Read entire member review.
Great cabin and location quiet deck (between two passenger decks), just a bit aft of midship. Surprisingly spacious bathroom. Loved the shower/bathtub. Tons of storage.  Read entire member review.

[1] This cabin is 194 square feet, and has a pull-out sofa bed. The verandah is nice and has two chairs, a small table and a footrest. There is a mirrored wall headboard. The décor is slightly garish (orange and brown). The bed is comfy and medium firm with lots of pillows.
[2] The first night (leaving from Seattle in September), we could not get the air conditioner to cool enough to keep us comfortable (cabin 7004), and we were told that we could not leave our verandah door open. This made for a miserable night for me. The air conditioner never got truly cold, but the outdoor air got somewhat cooler, so I enjoyed the rest of the cruise.
[3] Smoking IS permitted on verandahs and the smoke wafts freely from one verandah to another.
[4] This cabin was quiet: little noise from passersby and no noise from entertainment venues.
I liked the bathroom, and the dispensers in the shower to shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Unfortunately, the smell of these was somewhat strong and I am almost certain they are not hypoallergenic.

The room was nice, but a little on the compact side. The stewards kept it clean and we were well supplied with ice as requested. We had a lovely view of the full moon and sunsets from our balcony and even from our balcony doors. I usually sat inside in one of the comfortable chairs and only went on the balcony for photos, and the full length doors made the views look nearly the same as sitting on the balcony. We had a good location near the aft elevators. We were not bothered by noise either from the lido eating area above or the stairs and elevators nearby, and we usually went to be early by about nine o'clock.

Our cabin was on the Verandah deck, mid ships, port side. It was an excellent cabin with lots of storage. The cabins on Holland America are a bit larger because they have a two-person couch in the room. The balcony was fine with two chairs and a table. The bathroom was fine and it is nice to have a tub with the shower (it gives you more room to maneuver). The cabin stewart kept it clean and it always nice to see the towel animals and the chocolate on the pillow at night.  Read entire member review.
Cabin dated compared with later liners. Size was adequte, bed was very comfortable, storage space good, bathroom ok but really no need for a small bath. The extra space could be better used.  Read entire member review.
I expected small storage, but we had six large suitcases and did not even use all the space available. Balcony was really nice but for two people only. Super quiet, hardly ever heard any noise from anywhere, and we were very close to stairs and elevators. Loved in room safe, Flat screen tv with HDMI input for looking at pictures from camera, DVD player, all of it was really great.  Read entire member review.
