Great balcony, storage space good, comfortable beds and pillows. Dividers on balcony noisy when wind was strong. Read entire member review. |

Great aft verandah. Large enough for two chaise lounges, two chairs, two side tables. Being fully covered allowed 24/7 access to verandah despite fickle weather. A highlight of the trip. Recommend highly. Read entire member review. |

We were in cabin 7020. It was generally quiet. However, on ocassion at night, the cabin felt like we were driving on a road full of pot holes. It made me think that the bow of the ship was taking a heck of a pounding.
The layout was nice except it has no drawer space. Everything lays out on shelves in the closets. Well, there are a couple of tiny drawers in the night stands. My wife's big peeve is that the desk, with the hairdryer, where she puts on her makeup & does her hair has no drawers. All her stuff had to sit on the desktop. The veranda furnishings were two different chairs, a tiny table & a footstool. It was not a comfortable layout for room-service on the veranda.

Our room was right at the forward elevators so you could hear the elevator dinging, people talking & vacuuming early in the morning ( 7:30 am ) & late at night ( 9:30 pm ). Also, the bridge is on Navigation deck which obstructed our view. Read entire member review. |

One pic says more than thousand words. Best would be to check my blog. Just go to the section for Personal Blog and you find there many many pictures from the cruise and many impressions from the cabin. Read entire member review. |

We enjoyed our balcony however on the second leg of our cruise, we had smokers forward of us and at times found this to be an irritation. The cabin itself we found was very well laid out with plenty of storage space. We were near the aft part of the ship on deck seven but had no problems with the rocking and rolling some passengers complain about. The engine vibration was a non factor. Generous cabin size. Larger than other cruise line bathroom complete with tub, medicine cabinet and large shelf for storage. 3 large closets with drop down shelves. Nice size dressing table with lighted mirror. Refrigerator and storage for wine glasses. Very comfortable beds and wonderful linens. Larger than normal balcony with comfortable wicker furniture. Aft, starboard cabin, 7th floor is a great location with easy walk-up to Lido aft pool and Lido buffet. Only negative is the length of walk to the very front of the ship, ie. Casino, theater, or Crow's Nest. Read entire member review. |

Very comfortable beds (two joined twins). Balcony overlooked by the one above, so not completely private. Ceiling prone to creaking during rougher seas. Tub in the bathroom was a nice surprise. Some ash from the stack got on the deck and the railing. Read entire member review. |

We were in cabin 8024, a VA balcony category. It was the highest we have been. We liked the view. HAL had it furnished nicely, with a wicker chair, with cushion, another chair, a table and a small footstool. We used it more than any other balcony we have had. We ordered roomservice coffee each morning, and my husband drank his out there. The closet space was fine. Plus two large hangers were available for clothes if the robes there were put into a closet. I wish they would remove those robes. I cannot imagine wearing anyone's robe but my own..they just add clutter. The cabin was at the front of the Westerdam but we liked that. It was far enough from the Vista Restaurant to keep us not snacking, and we got a lot of exercise trotting there two times a day. It was close to the Crow's Next, via elevator, where we spent a lot of time. We were very please with the cabin. It did show some wear and tear, a carpet was stained, the drain in the tub did not work, but we take showers so no problem. We had a wonderful cabin attendant, Haman. It was just a nice cabin on a nice cruse. I booked it through Vacations to Go..Jeb Houston. So thanks. It turned out lovely. Read entire member review. |

8096 VA category located near aft stairs and just under Lido deck dining room bathrooms. 18 inches from bed to wall. 24 inches from bed to other wall. 7 1/2 feet between bed and veranda doors. couch is a love seat size. tub is 4 1/2 feet. Co-ordination required for two people to move around in the room. Ample closet. Read entire member review. |

Stateroom VA 8104 Deck 8 Navigation Deck
Great room with lots of closet and storage spaces. Had adjustable shelves in the closets so you could raise them to an upright position and hang clothes properly. Under the foot of the bed were 2 huge drawers. Desk with min fridge/cooler which was emptied by Bar staff at our request for duration of the cruise. Hair Dryer in the desk with lighted vanity mirror attached to desk. Flat Screen tv just above desk was easy to see as slong as you had the drapes closest to it closed during daylight hours.
2 person loveseat with chair and adjustable coffee table but due to small size of the room one person had to sit on the footstool while the other sat on the loveseat to eat or converse.
Not enough room for a scooter to be brought into the room so had to arrange for overnight storage and charging in main housekeeping every night.
Bathroom was tiny, but was good/fair sized for the category we were in.
Overall for 2 people in this stateroom is acceptable, but for 3 NO WAY!!
Verandah while not large was also acceptable. Afterall, I got better than I booked originally! Read entire member review. |

We got the #8117 on the Navigation Deck. Great location between the last set of elevators and the Aft. Very quiet with a nice balcony and bigger than the one we had in the Navigator of the Seas three years ago (particularly because of the washroom with a real bathtub).
Not bad but, for the money that we paid they could change the furniture. You will notice that the coach and the carpet are worn. Also, since they create a queen bed using 2 twins, only the sheet set was queen. Blankets are twin so they have to put them across and not in the normal way. Although I asked for a queen size, I never got it.
Regarding the storage capacity, we were a couple with two carryons and three luggagges and we had more than enough space to have everything well organized. Read entire member review. |

We got to our VA cabin on Navigation deck and were pleased with the room. We were upgraded from VF category. Our stateroom is directly below the Lido, but being towards the aft, we were not bothered by moving chairs at night. Yes, we heard the chairs being moved early in the morning, and while we were dressing for dinner, but definitely not during sleep times (we had late seating for dinner). The room is comfortable, but we would have liked more drawer space...there is an abundance of closet space though! Our cabin was 8120. Read entire member review. |

8139 is a great queit spot aft of the boat. It seems to be a little larger cabin with a nice size balcony (Verandah)/ Fantastic closet space and good bathroom. Close to the Lido aft deck and Lido Buffet restaurant, being aft it might be a little to far for people that can't walk far to get to the main restaurant, office, theater, shops, casinoetc. as they are forward down in the ship. There is no outside noise and we actually like the slight hum/noise of the AC as "white noise" drowning out any outside noise. Read entire member review. |

lots of closet space and drawers under to the bed too. Larger than regular verandah rooms with larger than normal balcony. Right below the Lido Deck so a couple of times there were people above us when we were on our balcony. Super convenient for accessing the Lido Dining Room for breakfast and lunch and Vista Dining for dinner. Opposite end of ship from Crow's Nest, Casino, entertainment, fitness, spa. But good exercise to walk after eating all the food! Read entire member review. |

Great linen including bathrobes, fridge, wi-fi, nice veranda with two chairs, table and footstool. Bathroom was fine. Cabin was serviced twice a day with a turn down and the stewards were awesome. Nothing was too much trouble and any of our questions and queries were answered promptly, clearly and accurately. Absolutely no complaints. TV programmes included tracking map and reruns of shore excursion briefings. Fresh fruit was constantly topped up. We took the 'by the bag' laundry service and that worked fine. Complimentary shoe cleaning worked fine too. Read entire member review. |

Our room was extremely comfortable - the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept on (pillowtop matress)- the bathtub/shower combo made for lots of bathing room - the veranda was roomy - plenty of storage space - a nice small couch and chair - and all in all - a great home away from home for a week. Our location was on deck 7 (cabin 7097), starboard aft and we were just a few steps away from the elevators - which made it very easy for us especially with a slightly sprained ankle. We simply walked out of our rooms, around the corner and could be up on the Lido deck (pool and buffet dining area) in seconds, or down to the main dining room on deck 2 in seconds. There was very little - if any -noise or vibration in our cabins. Read entire member review. |
