Two lower beds convertible to 1 king-size bed, bathroom with dual sink vanity, full-size whirlpool bath, shower and additional shower stall, large sitting area, dressing room, private verandah, 1 sofa bed for 2 persons, floor-to-ceiling windows. Approximately 500–712 sq. ft. including verandah.
Deluxe Veranda Suite, 4180. Location was perfect - back corner of the ship, thus offering a HUGE wrap-around balcony. But somewhere along the line, the room itself lost space and didn't much look like the floorplan or photos of the suite. Granted, the staterooms vary in layout depending on location, but for the price we paid, this room needs to be better spaced. The location offered great peacefulness since it's at the end of the hallway. Absolutely no traffic so it was wonderful. If the sound of engine hum bothers you, don't book this suite. Having said that, we actually found that sound soothing and lulling. Superb views since we had both a side and rear view. Read entire member review.
The aft corner "wrap-around" suite is our "crack" on board, Although smaller than the SA suites on Deck 7 the huge veranda with a table for four with chairs, two chairs with ottomans and two loungers (which could hold 15-20 for a sail-away ) and the 42 feet of running aft/side balcony rail is what always sells it for us. This feature provided, I believe, the best views from the ship and was perfect for Glacier Bay viewing and allowed for great on-board whale sightings 4 out of 7 days on-board. We will book nothing else when possible.
The cabin itself had plenty of room for all three of us during the day. The King bed was extremely comfortable with a vast selection of pillows. The five closets and under-bed space provided than enough clothing/luggage storage. In-room amenities included a mini-bar (which went into the dressing area stool) so the frig could be used for ice and other bottles ( we had our steward keep both our small ice bucket and large wine bucket filled with ice all day. The dry bar held a good variety of glass and bar wear which was replaced when used. The twin vanity bathroom was very roomy and useabl

SC 5190: Huge wrap balcony, side looked like bowling alley. 2 Lounge Chairs, 2 Chairs with Ottomans and Table with 4 chairs. Inside King Bed, small LCD screen TV (placed on side wall which was strange for viewing), huge bathroom with whirlpool bath/shower combo and separate shower stall, two sinks, 3 door closet storage in dressing room area and another 4 doors of closet space next to bed. Small fridge and bar area. Read entire member review.
3-person cabin with plenty of storage for 3 people. Veranda door whistled on several nights when sailing because of wind. Veranda is completely covered by above veranda so very little rain and less wind. Quiet and comfortable. Sofa bed was a little tired-looking. Read entire member review.
Deluxe Verandah Suite on Deck 6 - first one in the hallway from the elevators. Very quiet. Separate dressing room with dressing table -- wonderful luxury. Very comfortable king bed with lots of pillow selections. Mid-ship location, so easy access to everything. Read entire member review.
Lots of room for hosting parties. Balcony was very popular for lounging and watching other ships and islands go by. Plenty of storage, having a separate tub and shower is a great asset. Two sinks, two vanities always a plus. The king size eurotop bed provides the best sleep in the industry. Read entire member review.
Location was good, near elevators but was a distance from the Concierge Lounge. Nice size balcony with a great view. King bed, plenty of floor space, very usable bathroom and dressing room with 6 closets and plenty of storage areas. Read entire member review.
Great room, fantastic balcony, almost no noise from the hallway due to being the back corner. Some noise on the balcony but not overwhelming. Six closets, wow!! Nice bath with two lavetorys and a stall shower plus a whirlpool tub. A nice dressing area outside of the bath with a curtin to pull for privacy. Read entire member review.
The ship is a bit dated. No electrical outlets in the bathroom, and not enough outlets in the cabin. The main entertainment space, Vista Lounge, has rows of bench seats that are generally comfortable, but they should be individual seats. Additionally, most of the seats do not have tables for placing drinks. But the ship has been well maintained and is comfortable.
Our Stateroom: SB8147 was a fantastic cabin! There was plenty of room to move around. From photos, I had been a little concerned about space between the foot of the bed and the coffee table. I'm quite night blind and I was afraid if there wasn't enough space, I might trip over the coffee table. There was plenty of room though. We had more then enough closet space and drawer space, with more hangars then we needed...and I hung everything. The vanity area is very nice. Between the counter space in the vanity and the double sink bathroom, I had more space then I needed for all my girly make-up, lotions n potions, and hair appliances etc. There is a blow-dryer provided, but it doesn't have much power. If you have hard to dry hair, it will take awhile. There were also a couple of cabinets in the bathroom. This bathroom has a whirlpool tub/shower combo and a separate shower stall. The shower stall was very small and tight so we just used the shower over the tub. We didn't use the tub for a bath, but the shower worked great. There were binoculars and an umbrella in the room for our use. We had pre-ordered a bottle of vodka and Kahlua for "at sea" delivery and it was in our cabin waiting when we arrived, as well as a small bouquet of fresh flowers and a bottle of Complimentary Pol Clement and some water. The mini fridg was fully stocked with a nice selection of sodas, alcohol, and water. The fruit bowl was empty, but had a little card you checked off what kind of fruit you wanted. We filled it out and left it for our room steward and when we returned, our fruit bowl was full, and was refilled every day.
The balcony was absolutely amazing! I would say at least 5x bigger, probably more, than the standard size balcony. There was a round table with 4 chairs, 2 armed chairs with coffee table and foot stools, and 2 chaise lounges. All looked in excellent repair, with the very minor exception of a couple of cushion that were a little faded. Inconsequential! Read entire member review.
