Great idea to upgrade to a balcony room. Very nice to wake up to that wonderful view every morning. Plenty of closet space. Our room stewards were fantastic. And the towel creatures - nice touch. Read entire member review. |

cabin 4036 was roomy, near the elevator and vista lounge but at the opposite end of main dining room. no glass under the balcony railing, solid steel, but really did not notice it. Read entire member review. |

cabin #4183, Rock and Roll Baby, with plenty of black soot, creaks, groans, and plenty of vibration. The drawers at the foot of the bed rolled in and out all night long, later on an officer, told me it wasn't the ship at all; that there were ghosts in those stern cabins, and they climb in and out of those drawers! (i swear to god) It is a superb cabin to commit suicide from however; you look down into the propeller wash, it's hypnotizing, it really is, and you realize you have been burned for $1200 to cruise around nowhere, and you can't get off !!
The room stewards were VERY GOOD, probably the BEST SERVICE ON THE WHOLE DAM
boat. We gave them small gifts besides their gratuities. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 5060, Westerdam.
Good location, near the forward elevators, but quiet. A very quiet cabin, I do not recall hearing any outside noise. Cramped for four tall people. View, good but overlooking one of the lifeboats, which no matter how much you try to tune out, you are still looking at things across the top of an orange lifeboat.
Good closet space for four.

Wonderful bathroom with a tub-shower. Great ventilation system that kept the cabin from getting humid after 2 people showered. Plenty of storage space. Glad there were only 2 of us in this cabin and not 3! Balcony was large enough. Read entire member review. |

Disappointed about partial view with the barrier on the balcony. On the Glacier bay day when the aft deck was open, it got very cold in the hallway. Read entire member review. |

Our room was pretty standard. We had a balcony room - the one thing I did like is that there was an actual tub, and the furniture on the balcony was very high quality. Read entire member review. |

We had category VF, Cabin 4028, outside port side deck 4 forward, with verandah. The verandah was 2 feet deeper than the cabins above us. However the bottom panel was steel, not glass, so you had to stand up to see the sea. Lots of closet space, and storage under the bed(2 drawers), plus you could slide your luggage under the bed. The cabin had a love seat which was not comfortable to sit on, a chair and a stool that was under the small vanity. Bath was nice with a shower in the tub, vanity, and toilet. Difficult to control the temperature, and there was no adjustment to the fan speed. A/C was very noisy--I finally put in earplugs so I could go to sleep. Overall a nice cabin. Our stateroom 4040 was a pleasant veranda cabin with a comfortable bed, bathtub, and abundant storage space. It was very quiet, convenient to the elevators, and very clean. The balcony had a metal side, not Plexiglas, but the view was lovely over the top. Read entire member review. |
