Alaska June 11 - 18 by Rose Parade
Cabin 5001 Handicapped cabin. Extra large room for the same balcony rate. Large bathroom which the wheelchair could easily roll into. Tub with shower and separate shower area with seat. Many grab bars. One of our four forward facing cabins with a forward facing window which came in very handy at the Hubbard glacier. Cabin 5005. Very small interior cabin. Directly over the main showroom (which occupies decks 1 to 4.) All of the rehearsal music in the daytime and show music at night was very loud in this cabin. Cabin 5013. Balcony cabin. The only drawback was the ships thrusters were very loud when leaving posts.  Read entire member review.

Wonderful Cruise by Cheryl I
Nice closet size with fold down shelves. Plenty of storage and under the bed storage for 4 pieces of large luggage. Plenty of room for 2 people. The verandah outside our room had nice seating, they were private and roomy. Soft robes were provided and there was a lot of storage in the bathroom. The bathroom had a bathtub/shower. The location of our cabin was perfect. Never waited for an elevator. Loved being close to the Crow's Nest, one of our favorite places to read and relax.  Read entire member review.

The ship was kept very clean, including our cabin. However, our cabin's furnishings were a bit run down. (EX: The fabric on the sofa was worn, the deck chair cushion was torn, the side table was chipped)The queen bed was very comfortable. Our 12 year old daughter said her sofa bed was on the lumpy side but she conked out pretty quickly each night.  Read entire member review.

Great room. No noise. Great balcony views! Lots of closet space. Compartments under bed, too.  Read entire member review.

Comfortable, especially liked bathtub. Fabric on sofa and plastic "wicker" on verandah furniture were a little frayed.  Read entire member review.

5056 - port side. Can see the glacier from here as opposed to the crowd at the back of the ship. Only thing was the positioning of the pull down bunk. The room attendant should have warned you but I think that the management told him "not to" as to avoid "scaring the passengers". To hear announcements, I had to sometimes open the door and stand in the hallway. Four passengers max. If you bring lots of stuff, ask for more hangers or bring your own. Had a shower/tub. Had the electrician come in to fix the light switch. There is a complementary safe in the room. Faucet water tastes like "desalination"  Read entire member review.

Good view from the balcony. Plenty of closet space with adjustable shelving. Wall safe for valuables. Comfortable bed. Down side. Speaker to hear announcements did not work in room. We had to open the door to hear them.  Read entire member review.

Nice location; quiet; close to the aft elevators which aren't often as busy.  Read entire member review.

Cabin was a standard verandah cabin on the Westerdam. Nice size with plenty of storage. The verandah was a little small.  Read entire member review.

Looved every inch of it. So many closets we could not use them all. The same goes for drawers. Bed was heavenly...and enough pillows for a scout-camp. Veranda was roomy, the chairs, , and chairs and tavle were used (even though it was an Alaskan cruise we had exceptionally warm weather). Found It difficult to get hot water in the shower...so used the shower in the bath tub... and that worked just fine. Very quiet cabin. Close to theNepotune Longe and had elevators close by.

Spacious balcony, small LCD TV with DVD player, outrageous hairdryer, no fitting electrical sockets for new appliances in cabin and bathroom, good storage space, quiet location, old and falling-apart balcony furniture, small and worn-out bathroom, stained bathroom floor, nowhere to plug in a newer bulkier plug for hairdryer, peeling paint, this cabin needs a refurbishment soon. Old worn-out pillows, comfortable bed, cheapo blanket like from a bootcamp or roadside motel. Hallway quiet, not near elevators, crew space, disco.  Read entire member review.

ALASKA IN SEPTEMBER by QM2 Cruiser
Cabin 1005 is exactly 22 feet long by 9 feet wide and does not have a bathtub.  Read entire member review.

Great cabin, but being all the way forward meant a lot of pitching motion during rough seas. Also, the forward deck nearest this cabin is only for crewmembers, so don't book this cabin expecting to access that deck.

Cabin 5009 - Quad cabin right at front of ship on starboard side. Was quiet area, never had any issue with noise from surrounding cabins or hall. Short walk to the forward elevators.  Read entire member review.
