The mini-suites on Princess really suit us. The seating area is where we spend much of our time (when we're not on the balcony). We always order a flower arrangement when we board, and place it on the table in the seating area. D115 is one of the most forward of the starboard side cabins. It's a bit of a walk to get anywhere from there, but loud guests in the hall won't be a factor there. When the anchors are lowered, it can be a bit noisy, since it is above the anchor lockers.
Since the minis on the older ships are clustered on deck 9, they are great for minimizing sway of the ship, especially compared to deck 14.
Be aware that the balconies on Dolphin are overlooked by the upper balconies, and have no cover. This has never been a bother to us, but perhaps worth mentioning. Read entire member review. |

We had a mini-suite with a balcony--extremely quiet, lots of closet and drawer space. Loved the shower and bathtub. Read entire member review. |

D601 - Dolphin deck mini-suite was absolutely wonderful with an actual bathtub. Only downside was that the push-together bed had hard edges that made it seem like there was a bar running down the middle. Read entire member review. |

The Mini Suites are the best. There is a sitting room with couch & a large patio off a large sliding door. If traveling with friends or family you can open up the patios & enjoy visiting. Also the tub/shower is a good size as is the bathroom.
More than enough closet space! Read entire member review. |

We had a mini-suite on the Dolphin deck. It is usually the type of room we like sitting area as well as bed, full bathroom and deck. As everyone else indicates yes the deck is exposed to the upper levels so what? We like the sun and this gives us the opportunity to use the deck. The room is spacious as far as a cruise ship is concerned and the mini-suites have a full bathroom. Storage is ample for both your clothes and your empty suitcases. Plug ins are sparse but acceptable. Read entire member review. |

Wonderful cabin! Walk-in closet, separate living room, large balcony. Convenient location, very close to the aft elevators. Read entire member review. |

Loved the BIG bathroom in the mini suite. The oversized balcony was a treat. Our cabin was right next to the main elevators but we were never bothered by noise. In fact, we found it much easier to navigate the ship with a room in the middle. Read entire member review. |

Plenty of room on the mini-suites, large balconies open to the weather. Great for hot locations, not so great for cold rainy locations. Read entire member review. |

Excellent mid ship cabin eliminating most of the pitching experienced by more forward and aft cabins. Well maintained. Far enough from stairwells and elevators so to be quiet in the hallways. Read entire member review. |
