Balcony cabin 9008: Always very quiet, storage adequate,no refrigerator, balcony good except for an occasional whiff of smoke from another cabin. Had breakfast delivered twice. They call about 15 minutes before delivery. Steward service excellent.  Read entire member review.

our balcony cabin was located right in the entry way from elevators to all cabins, I was impressed with the fact that we didn't hear all the noise we expected. When we had a bad night with high wave action, the whole ship rocked but we were happy being towards the back of the ship. The kids had an ocean view room in the front and they really felt the motion but said the rooms was also quiet from most noise. Our cabin, which I left a message, the closet door stuck/off slider and the curtain was torn so that my foot got caught on it as I re-entered cabin..  Read entire member review.

great bathrooms, balcony a little small to say the least, we would like a little better TV viewing in the cabin, but everything else was fine.  Read entire member review.

The room was quiet, in a great location (near the aft stairs and elevator, but far enough away), plenty large for 2 people, enough storage space for 2, the bed(s) was comfortable, loved the balcony.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was alwasy clean--a fine steward provided attentiion--cute towel animals were created during out trip--Our balcony was nice, but a bit small. We had enough room for all of our clothes and accessories as you could put yoru empty bags under your bed. The room had a very nice shower with space. Great beds and fine water. Basically very fine rooms, but naturally we all would love more space on ships, but our room was more than adquate.  Read entire member review.

Adequate space and storage, nice balcony, reasonably quiet.  Read entire member review.

Across from crew space, but still quiet.  Read entire member review.

Very small room (the ship was built for the Asian market), chipped tiles and mildew in the bathroom, dirt in the shower stall tracks and balcony door tracks, sticky and dirty floor/carpet on the balcony (we rarely went out there even though we paid more for it), leaking sink in the bathroom, too little storage space in the bathroom, holes and stains on some of the linens/towels. :(  Read entire member review.

Smallish room, but certainly adequate. Sufficient storage and closet space. Balcony OK but compact, like the cabin. Good location.  Read entire member review.

Amazing location, amazing view. Hair drier nozzle was broken but that was over a year ago, I am sure it was fixed long ago.  Read entire member review.

CABIN: We went back to 10106 to get organized and set up our 'communication central' door. We posted our group's itinerary, a blank notepad, a pencil on a string (I actually brought a BUNCH of pencils figuring they would disappear but it never did LOL!), a "I am DEFINITELY doing such and such form. We also posted highlighted dailies later in the cruise and other pertinent info. It worked out great. The cabin itself was great. Absolutely immaculate. Crisp yummy sheets and a 'white-white' coverlet on the bed. Mmmmm, the sheets smelled so good, too. The little desk and chair was very handy (with the 'fridge under it). There were a few drawers and shelves and the closet was quite large, I thought. I loved the bathroom set-up. The sliding shower doors were great and the sliding door to conceal the toilet. was a great touch. The showers were hot and powerful (quite a surprise). The flush of the toilet was a bit loud but, well, that was just AOK with us (better safe than sorry!). We hung our shoe organizer thing (would NEVER cruise without one Thanks, CruiseCritic). There was also a little couch but that was kind of my 'bureau' so we didn't sit on that much. The flexible suitcases fit perfectly under the bed. The pillows were scrumptious and varied. Some a bit more fluffy, some a bit firmer. PERFECT! I had to leave my own pillow, that I ALWAYS travel with at home because of suitcase space issues and was thrilled at the pillow situation (small pleasures LOL). Our balcony was just wonderful. Two canvas-slung-type chairs and a little table. When we had company (which was quite a bit) there was some lap sitting and straddling of the sliding glass doors with the desk chair. We loved the balcony. As a matter of fact, in retrospect I fear we spent way too much time there. Though we loved it we missed some fun stuff (Sexy Legs Contest on the last sea day for example) topside. Oh well, can't have it all! I didn't watch even a second of TV but did have the music station on quite a bit - a good mix of tunes... There were plenty of mirrors and some lovely artwork. The slider drapes shut all the way and really darkened the cabin. It was a great cabin (I miss it LOL!).  Read entire member review.

NOLA Spirit by echoes_sdn
Large closet, great bed, nice access to activities on the ship, private balcony was small but provided a ton of enjoyment.  Read entire member review.

Big enough for 2 people. Would have been tight if we had a 3rd guest. Could not get room cool. Even on max cooling the coolest was 70 degrees. The tv is very tiny, not much of a channel selection. Don't know why the advertise it as a queen bed when it was just to twin beds pushed together. Very noisy, almost no sound proofing. I have trouble hearing and still heard way too much.  Read entire member review.

Great view of Dockyard from even numbered staterooms and the location of our balcony stateroom was among the best of any of our previous cabins.  The term, "close and convenient to everything" was not an exaggeration.   Read entire member review.

The cabin, Category BC 10668, as expected was small, but plenty big enough for the two of us. Our stuff fit into the drawers, closets, and cubbyholes. I don't see how a third person would fit in the room. The balcony held two chairs and a small table. We missed the lounges we had in our aft balcony on RCI during our last cruise. The best part of the cabin was the shower that was easy to control and had good flow. The two cons of the cabin were the thin walls (we could hear our neighbors and their tv set, which they left on well into the night) and the unpleasant odor in the toilet on the first two days and last two days of the trip.  Read entire member review.

Just steps to back of ship & kids pool area and up to Raffles. Quiet hallway, but wall between cabins are thin or our neighbors had loud voices.  Read entire member review.

Our stateroom was a larger size than most, as it was tucked into the back corner of the deck. Not a wheelchair accessible room, it still provided ample space for the wheelchair - we did not have trouble getting around it. The layout of the room is a bit odd - the bathroom door would not fully open, as it hit the side of the bed. The closet was large, lots of shelves. The balcony is a larger size then most regular balconies. The room was very quiet.  Read entire member review.

If you have a cabin with a pass thru door to another cabin it will be extra noisy.  Read entire member review.
11016
Our cabin, 11016, was good. It was a balcony and the bed was comfy. The bathroom was small and occassionally the toilet area smelled like raw sewerage. One night, there was a private party upstairs in the Galaxy room and so the main doors were closed. However, people would open the door about every 10 seconds and it squeeked and slammed shut. Kept us awake most of the night.  Read entire member review.

Not sure if it was sewer smell (common on all ships) or just a nasty fart I was getting a whiff of in the morning. Very interesting laid out bath. I did enjoy this cabin. Close to the pool.  Read entire member review.

NCL Spirit Balcony 11050: Adequate closet, the only table is covered up with a coffee maker, there is no refrigerator or mini bar. As all ships, the cabin had limited outlets, understandable if you research what electricity does to ships. The balcony light worked, of 8 cruises this is only the second outside light which worked! Bath arrangement was small toilet separated from sink by sliding glass door separated from show by same type glass door. Liked the arrangement. Beds were quite comfy. Lighting was adequate and convenient. TV location made controlling with remote difficult but did not spend much time watching TV.  Read entire member review.

Two decks below the basketball courts, so you will hear playing on sea days and later afternoons in port.  Read entire member review.

We were in Cabins 11556 and 11558 and they were directly under the gym that was open from 6am to 11pm. There was ALWAYS noise. Loud bags with free weights being dropped on the deck about. There are about 8 cabins that are under this gym and should be avoided. I would suggest that you check the deck plan of any cabin you book to see what is above you. It was my own fault that I did not do this before confirming cabin. It won't happen again !  Read entire member review.

Nice room for 2, adequate closet space, good view, small balcony, tiny TV set, and surprisingly quiet as the room is below the buffet.  Read entire member review.

Wonderful Adventure! by DDisaster86
The room was spacious, clean, and nice. The balcony was well worth it and being on the port side we almost always had the better views! The storage space was fine and the bathroom was bigger than Carnival. My only complaint was the noise. We were right below the staircase from floor 13 to 12 in the Raffles Terrace area. So it sounded like the ceiling was caving in every time someone used the stairs. Also the crew would clean that area under those stairs every night. The times for this changed, but some nights noise from their carts went until 1 am.  Read entire member review.
