We stayed in the Taurus Suite, room 10008. It is on the starboard side, three balconies back from the front. The corridor was almost always quiet. You get a nice view of the pilot bridge. Having never stayed in a suite, we were awestruck by the amenities. You enter into the dining area. A bar and espresso/coffee/tea machine are on the counter. Nice size table with comfortable chairs. Ahead of you is the TV/sitting area and then the slider to the balcony. The HD-TV is perhaps 37", and there is a DVD player. NCL offers a library of movies. After entering the suite you can turn to the right and enter the second side. There are heavy slider doors that can be used to close off the second side. As you enter the second side, the closet is directly ahead of you. Plenty of hangars, and two wall safes. The closet has some drawers for clothing or other items. Just to the left of the closet is a counter with drawers. As you enter the second side, the bedroom is on the right [towards the front]. It is a huge comfortable bed. Four pillows were provided. two bedside lamps, and an alarm clock. There is a smaller TV and five drawers for clothing. The ceiling is mirrored. The bed canopy can be dropped to close off the bed area from the bath area. As you enter the second side, the bath area is to your left. There are two sinks. The bath counter is long and not very wide, but adequate. NCL provides full-size bottles of shampoo and conditioner, and large bars of soap. There are two storage areas under the sinks. The hot tub lies further back. A wall hair dryer is located adjacent to the hot tub. The starboard wall is all window [with shades]. One window at the hot tub, and one full-length window in the shower. There is also a window that opens to the balcony. There are mirrors almost everywhere. In short: Wow.  Read entire member review.

Very nice penthouse, with side-by-side layout. No noise outside in the corridor, though I could hear the beat of the White Hot Party from two decks above... Bathroom was great with shower and Jacuzzi both overlooking the water. Balcony a bit small, but didn't use it much. Bed very nice in a tight alcove with mirrors and Venetian art. Nice but small dining table. Generally very well-appointed. I would say this category is super for two, somewhat crowded for three. What makes these suites most appealing are the butler and the concierge!  Read entire member review.

This suite was phenomenal. It has two rooms. It had the sitting room with the espresso maker and the flat screen tv with dvd player. There is a small dining set and a sofa and two chairs. The balcony is rather small because of the bathroom. The rooms can be divided by these heavy, wooden, oriental gilded decor doors. They were gorgeous. The other room was the bedroom/bathroom combo. The bedroom was a king bed in an enclosed space with the same mirrored, gilded decor (even the ceiling)! There was a small flat screen tv. The bedroom could be section off by these big red velvet curtains. Then there was a huge closet with a seated vanity. Lots of drawers. The bathroom had a double vanity. The loo was a private glassed off area. Then there was a full shower (with a ceiling to floor clear window overlooking the ocean). There was a also a jetted tub with a full window. It was gorgeous.  Read entire member review.

Spectacular bathroom, comfy bed, small balcony, limited storage space. Concierge and butler service were great. Loved the espresso machine in the room!  Read entire member review.

If you can spring for it an absolute must for a long cruise is booking a Penthouse. Two rooms making it much more comfortable for 2 people. Plenty of storage so you can completely unpack. Hangars provided along with Tea/Coffee maker, fresh fruit and daily afternoon aperitifs. Balcony is plenty big for 2 chairs and small table. Large garden tub overlooking the sea and shower stall as well...with blinds for when you're close to port or other ships. Large comfortable bed with selection of pillows. The window in our bathroom would not close properly but maintenance had it fixed by the next day....they screwed it shut permanently so don't try to open it! Two safes in the room both of which malfunctioned. Security came promptly to fix them.  Read entire member review.

Excellent suite and well worth the additional money. It was the last suite on deck 10 starboard side. Great location! Awesome set up and plenty of room.  Read entire member review.

10022 was the farther penthouse suite back from bow, so less motion. Very concenvient to elevators but we never heard them. Service area on the otherside of hallway but offset back 4 to 5 yards so we never heard doors slaming. Very quiet cabin, between 2 decks of cabins,no smell of smoke from cigar room 2 decks up. Adequate for 2 large adults, bed is king size rather than queen with firm mattress, silky high thread count sheets, white duvet cover and warm comforter (down?). 2 kingsided pillows each pax. Deep sinks didn't splash, hot water is very hot, good water pressure. No odor from toilet/drain. Low pile carpet in red/gold pattern, older cloth double sofa bed. Per DH this is NOT comfortable, has hard bars easily felt at hips and feet. 32" flat screen TV with BBC, Fox News, 1 popular TV show channel and 2 movie channels plus usual ship channels with location, temp, wind, humidity, ocean depth. Plenty of hangers in closets. Hung up 20 items, could have fit more. Makeup table with 2 drawers, bureau with 3 drawers. Card table sized dining table, seats 2 fine, could seat 2 more in a pinch. Small refirgerator fits 2 quart soda/water, no freezer. Expresso maker with coffee pods, some flavored, didn't try this. 3 tempature zone controllers, rocker panel light switches a bit confusing. Balcony is about 3 feet deep and 9 feet wide.  Read entire member review.

The suite was fantastic - a dining area, with capuccino machine and refrigerator; living room area with large flat-screen tv and DVD player, and a small balcony.  The bedroom was separate, with another smaller flat-screen tv, plenty of large drawers, large closet with drawers and 2 safes;  sliding doors between the bedroom/bath area and the living room/dining room area.  The bath tub was a jacuzzi, with a large picture window - you could sit in the tub and watch the ocean, if you so desired.  Separate large glass door shower and separate room for the toilet, also with glass door.  Two sinks, a separate vanity with separate lights for each area - in the shower, tub, sinks, vanity, bedroom, living room, dining area and balcony.

Decor was Oriental and gorgeous - this is the cabin type to get, especially if you can get a deal - very very comfortable, beautiful and spacious.

10518--Awesome penthouse! There's a dining room with a fridge, bar area, coffee maker. Family room area had a couch, TV--functional, but the furniture had seen better days. Balcony--two comfy chairs on it--small--a normal balcony size, nothing more. Bedroom was great--it's in a "cave." Mirrors on the wall and ceiling, big velour curtains to close out all the light, comfy mattress, and tons of pillows. Bathroom was huge-- big shower with floor to ceiling windows to the sea, jacuzzi tub for two--great place to watch some beautiful sunsets, tons of storage. Bring a hairdryer!  Read entire member review.
