Mid-Ship Inside Cabins 72 Reviews
Great for up to four guests, these staterooms come with two lower beds that convert into a queen-size bed and additional bedding to sleep up to two more. Because these are mid-ship staterooms and located on higher decks, you'll have easy access to everything on board.

We had an interior room on 10th floor. 146 sq ft. It was quaint. Nothing exciting. The fact we had no sunlight coming in our room made it a little tough for me. Closet had ample space with cubby spots, bathroom is tight, pillows were flatter than pancakes, bed was fair, contained room safe, it was pretty tight for 2 people to get around.  Read entire member review.
Fairly convenient location and not too much nose or traffic. The cabin steward was not as good as the others in the area seemed to be. I think he had to split his time with us and a group of VIP rooms on the other side of the ship, so we rarely saw him. The closet and drawer space was barely large enough for the 4 of us. The room safe is not large enough for a laptop PC.  Read entire member review.
We were in room 10065 which was clean and nice. The inside room was not large but seemed about the same size and those on Carnival. Room size is not a big concern to us because the only time we spend in the room is to get cleaned up, prepare for meals and sleep. The bathroom was big enough and had a glass shower door instead of curtain. There was plenty of closet space and 4 dresser drawers. The safe allowed you to set your own 4 digit code. There were about 5 one foot square cubby holes in the closet. The room and hallway were quite. The location was good because it was in the middle of the theater and main areas on decks 7 & 8 and the pool / Raffels on 12.  Read entire member review.
Even though we had a inside cabin we still had plenty space, good size bathroom, wardrobes ect. We were advised to go in the middle of the ship as it was more stable.  Read entire member review.
We liked our cabin - it was not the traditional inside cabin, and we liked the fact that it was "sideways" along the interior hallway, rather than a deep cavern as we have had in the past. (We prefer inside cabins.) The inside wall of the tenth deck interior cabin we had was located alongside an open area above the public areas (decks 7 & 8), and therefore, there were no noises from that long wall. When you look up from those decks, all you see are fake balconies and mirrors. So it was pretty quiet, except for the one afternoon that a young couple decided it would be a good idea for their kids to run off some of their excess energy in our hallway. Tough to take a nap under those conditions, but except for the kids, we never heard anyone in the hallway. Because the cabin is "sideways", we had a hallway that separated the bathroom and the 6' closet, and we had more storage space at the end of that hallway. The bathroom was big, but it was a little musty smelling (although not enough to complain), with sliding glass doors in the wide shower stall, and plenty of hot water at all times. Good storage in the bathroom as well, and a half-hearted blowdryer on the wall that did the job, however weakly. There was a full-length mirror, a television with a rather shoddy-looking/acting remote (duct-taped together), a coffeemaker/supplies, icebucket and water glasses, two bottles of water (UPCHARGE of $4.50 each!) and an old safe with difficult to understand instructions, as the symbols were worn off the programming buttons. We had a desk/chair and several drawers in the cabin. We did not have a refrigerator. Because we had the bed as a queen, we only had one bedside table. We did have great cabin stewards, Edwardo and Rachel, and our cabin was tidied up every time we left it. We did not get clean sheets throughout the cruise, which was a little surprising based on prior experiences. Bed was very comfortable, although a couple of times, it began to separate in the middle. We had a flickering light one day, and called the problem in to the desk, and an electrician came and changed the lightbulb within a couple of hours. There was a phone on the bedside table, and according to the phone, you could program a wake-up call on it, but we never were able to figure it out. Better call reception for a wake-up, and ask for a non-traditional time, as you won't get a call at the hour or half-hour - these wake-up calls are done individually, not with a computer, so it takes time.  Read entire member review.
Our cabin was quiet with ample storage room & a spacious bathroom. It was also very quiet and comfortable!  Read entire member review.

Cabin 10557 midship inside. Adequate for our needs, in the middle so handy for everything. No noise nearby. Shower was lovely and big.  Read entire member review.
Great value for money by spys.likeus
Beds a bit hard but perhaps we could have asked for a topper. Furniture a bit rickety but we managed! Bathroom very good. Powerful and very spacious shower.  Read entire member review.
Ahhhh....Bermuda :) by PinkSandBeaches
10577... Noisy! Near a utility closet so I was woken every morning very very early (5:30-6:00) I suspect the room stewards use it to keep their supplies in. Lots of banging. Impossible to sleep through the loud noise.  Read entire member review.
Very Quiet, good location  Read entire member review.
Decent size for us and our 2 young children. We don't spend much time in there anyway, mainly just showers and sleep and it did those things perfectly!  Read entire member review.
Cabin 10627 is an inside cabin. Like all inside cabins, space is at a premium, but for 2 people there is plenty. The storage space is outstanding with a spacious closet, closet shelving and additional drawer space outside the closet. It is 2 floors from the pool/buffet and 4 floors from the formal dining room. Turn one direction for the midships staircase up to the pool area; turn the other direction to go to the aft staircase to the dining room. Very quiet room. The absolute best part is that the shower has a sliding glass door which is so much better than the shower curtain that wants to plaster itself to your side most of the time!  Read entire member review.

Tiny Inside Rooms are built for two people and should not be advertised as rooms for 3 or 4. Very misleading  Read entire member review.

Wonderful Vacation! by SoccerMom9195
Inside cabin, #11079, worked just fine for the four of us. Two adults and two teenagers ages 13 & 17. Use the over-the-door shoe holder to hold everything that would normally land on the counter top.  Read entire member review.
The trundle bed pulled out for a fourth person created some logistical difficulties. There was plenty of storage space. The bathroom was nice sized with a large shower. If you listen carefully during peak meal times, you can hear silverware rattling from the buffet above on deck 12. There was no noise to disturb our sleeping.  Read entire member review.
11535 was very good. No noise and VG steward. Toilet blocked elsewhere and this affected ours. On the whle very satisfied.  Read entire member review.
Room: Interior cabin 11535, deck 11, right under the Spa. It is very quiet because of this. We will however, not book an interior cabin again. A little light from the outside world would have been much appreciated. Our fault, no one else's. The shower was quite large and you could fit two people into it easily. There was a small burrow with 4 drawers and the closet had five shelves in it to store clothing. There was also ample hangers to hang our clothes.  Read entire member review.
First Cruise - Great Time by just_jennifer
We were in an inside cabin on deck 11 aft. It was in a very convenient location - one floor up was the pool and buffet. The only problem was around 5am when we could hear loungers in the pool area being moved.  Read entire member review.

Cabin was fine - didn't spend much time there anyway - sink clogged, and bathroom light died, but our steward, Frankie was there to fix Our location was great - midship, so not too far a walk to anywhere  Read entire member review.
Big bathroom and plenty of closet space for two...older TV. Watch your location.  Read entire member review.
Awesome cruise out of NOLA by Raleigh Traveler
As mentioned in the review, there is a pipe in the middle of the room, eight inch floor to ceiling. Other than that the room was adequate and the bath was the largest we have had on a cruise ship. Great access to stern deck area.  Read entire member review.
We had an issue where I feared there might be some type of biting insect in the cabin. I asked at the front desk if someone would check the room to see if maybe someone might have brought sand fleas into the room or something. In less than 10 comes the calvary! Several people stripped the room, bedding and all items in the cabin were carefully inspected by several people. The room was sprayed and we were asked to stay out for 2 hours. There was an immediate follow up call to assure us there was nothing in the cabin and we were given a nice bottle of wine for our trouble. Now thats what I call customer service!!  Read entire member review.
I had a inside stateroom and it was small! The staterooms on the Carnival are bigger.  Read entire member review.
Kept clean, nice size, plenty of storage, quiet. Safes not functional.  Read entire member review.

Beautiful Bermuda by CruisingAlonginMA
My husband and I booked late so we had an interior cabin. Unlike our friends who all had a rather plain cabin in the lower decks, we were given a very nice cabin (#10681) that appeared to be far more spacious and better designed than the regular interior cabins. We loved it. It was nicely designed, plenty of storage, and seemed to be tucked away from the main traffic pattern. Later we learned that we were backed up to the hallway with the daycare and dreaded the noise that was to come. That never turned into being a problem. With the exception of the door closing repeatedly in the morning, we never heard noise from the daycare at all. Nor did we hear any noise coming from the kiddie pool located outside of the door near our cabin. Our only issue with our cabin was a toilet that seeped from the bottom emitting a foul odor periodically throughout the cruise. Our room steward did an amazing job of staying on top of cleaning the leakage as frequently as possible so that we could get through the week without being driven from the cabin. There was also one point when the toilet wouldn't flush at all. We overheard our cabin neighbors complaining of the same thing, so we called our steward who called maintenance. The issue was fixed within 15 minutes. Apparently it was some sort of fuse or power issue that controlled the vacuum for the toilets.  Read entire member review.
Smallest cabin we have ever had!  Read entire member review.
1st NCL cruise will be our last by
HORRIBLE. Too small. Not clean. We had 3 people in our room and there was not room for all 3 of us. Only 1 plug. Not a double outlet. The one plug was by the table. I have a C-Pap machine. If I wanted to use my machine, I had to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed. Hair and lint all over the sheets. One night we had what looked like a urine stain on our comforter. Hairs were in the sink after they were done "cleaning." I never even saw a cabin steward. There was another plug in the bathroom but it didn't work.  Read entire member review.
The inside rooms on ships are always small and this was no exception. However, usually when there are four people to a room, there are two sets of "bunk" beds on each side of the room. In this room, there was only one lower bed on one side, an upper and lower bunk on the other side, and a pull out mattress from under the bunks. I don't understand why there weren't two upper bunks. Had I been aware of this set-up when I was booking, we probably would have booked two seperate rooms. Then, because the ship used to sail in the far east before NCL bought it, there was only one standard US outlet and two foreign outlets and the hairdryer in the bathroom blew nothing more than a gentle breeze which wouldn't even dry your hands. Absolutely useless. Since the electricity running through the rooms couldn't accommodate the wattage of American hair dryers, you couldn't even bring your own. I liked the set up of the bathroom. The shower seemed roomier than on other cruise ships, and there was a glass door rather than a useless curtain. Because of this, all of the water was contained when people showered and didn't soak the rest of the bathroom floor. Another thing I didn't like was that the bathrooms are equipped with dispensers for shampoo and shower gel and usually it's shampoo/conditioner, but this was only shampoo. After sitting in the pool or hot tub or swimming in the sea, hair gets lots of knots and it's impossible to get those out with shampoo only. -- no iron in the room. You had to ask to borrow one. Other than that, the room was fine. There were a good amount of hangers in the closet, and we each took a closet cubby and a drawer for clothing storage and there were shelves in the bathroom around the mirror. The light in the cabin was terrible for makeup application. Carnival supplies a lighted, swing-out magnifying mirror in the bathroom, and I did miss that on this ship. We were able to store our suitcases under the bed, so that helped keep the room tidy too.  Read entire member review.
The cabin was perfectly adequate for being an inside cabin. The washroom was a pleasant surprise - glass shower door and no curtain. We were faily close to mid-ship which helps with movement. The bed was comfortable and there was a flat screen tv. No complaints about the cabin.  Read entire member review.
NOT AS BAD AS WE THOUGHT by southerngirl07
The size was fine for us considering it was just 2 ppl. we put all of our things away, and tucked suitcases under bed.  Read entire member review.
GREAT!!!! by 4texans4
Walls are SUPER thin! I could hear conversations coming from the next room. I love the feel of turning off the light, being completly dark, putting the pillow over my head and going SOUND to sleep! If I was not such a sound sleeper, might have bothered me.  Read entire member review.
