4580
Cabin 4580 is in the corridor immediately adjacent to the gangway that is used for ingress and egress on the port side when the ship docks to that side. Also, this gangway is used by the harbor pilots when they embark. So when the gangway is opened, it is quite noisy -- a lot of grinding and clanking and metal-on-metal sounds for maybe two or three minutes. This happens most days between 7:00 AM and 8:00 when the harbor pilots come aboard, but sometimes even earlier than that. So unless you are a very early riser, or a very heavy sleeper, this will wake you up. Also, the security officer's office is immediately across the corridor from the cabin, so often we would open our door and the security officer would be sitting right there, which is not really ideal. And the first day we had port call in Toulon, peopole actually lined up outside our door waiting to disembark, and we could hear them laughing and joking, which was irritating. Fortunately, the security officer put a stop to that, and we had almost no queuing up in the corridor after that first day. In fairness, I should mention that our cabin location did have three positive aspects: 1) We could get right to our room about ten seconds after reboarding the ship in each port; 2) we were very close to the midship elevators and so could travel from our cabin to anywhere in the ship pretty quickly, and 3) the cabin location in the middle of the ship, and on a lower level, means less rocking in heavy seas. Having said all that, we recommend you get an alternative cabin if NCL assigns you to cabin 4580.  Read entire member review.

Good Location next to elevators and stairs. The only noise is from the promenade deck above, but it was minimal.  Read entire member review.

Best Cruise Ever by nfritsche
Our room was just like any cruise room, plenty of room for two. The bathroom was nice. It was one of the best I have seem on a ship. When you walked in you saw the sink and plenty of shelves for your items then there was sliding shower doors on your right and left. On the right was a shower and the left was the toilet. It was a great layout.  Read entire member review.

Our Oceanview room, 6076, was perfect. Felt bigger than I had anticipated. Plenty of closet space. Four drawers which were a little small, but we ended up having room for everything. We needed some extra hangers, and the stewards provided them for us. The bed was firm, as I read on a lot of other reviews, and I did wake up with a sore back most mornings. I asked for an eggcrate mattress topper, and that did help. I heard barely any nose. The only noise was from Deck 7 above, as you are below the teak, wooden, walking deck. If the crew was doing work, moving equipment, you might hear that. Hallway noise, and other room noise was pretty much non-existent. The bathrooms are plenty big. Much bigger than I had expected, as well.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 8000 is a category 03 cabin all the way Forward on deck 8 - one of only two on the Spirit (other is 8500). This ocean view cabin is 287 square feet - far larger than most cabins, even balcony cabins. The king size bed has a second bed that comes down from the all affording our son a perfect lair of his own with a view out the large window. Oversized bathroom area with a large shower . The closet was 6 feet wide with over 10 hangers and many drawers. Many other drawers to tore things.Plenty of room to hide the luggage, too.  Read entire member review.

Very good location, easy to get to and from everything, surprisingly it was not too noisy.  Read entire member review.

Overall a 3 out of 5. Furnishings were obviously worn, bathroom setup extremely poor...commode section is especially small for normal sized persons, could be extremely uncomfortable for larger persons. Beware of the support pole in the middle of the cabin. Great service from cabin stewards  Read entire member review.

We had room on Deck 6 right next to Garden Room. Great location- very quiet- can't hear anything from restaurant and only have a cabin on one side. Room plenty spacious for 2 people, lots of nooks and cranies to store stuff.  Read entire member review.

Overall great trip by LadyBeth
Cabin was slightly bigger than on other ships I've been on. It was clean. The only negative I noticed was that the tv was tiny and didn't have a remote.  Read entire member review.
