9006 was forward and quiet. No noise from adjoining cabins or cabins above or below. The motion up front was not a problem. There was plenty of room for 4 pieces of luggage under the bed and we were able to stow all our belongings in the space provided. I found this a nice spot for getting around the ship as it was a few flights up for the pool an a few flights down for the atrium and dining. We were very happy with our choice of cabin and thought it was a good value.  Read entire member review.

Balcony cabin 9008: Always very quiet, storage adequate,no refrigerator, balcony good except for an occasional whiff of smoke from another cabin. Had breakfast delivered twice. They call about 15 minutes before delivery. Steward service excellent.  Read entire member review.

The walls were a little thin and we could hear our roommates loud TV at different times during the day and the coughing from their cabin. This was on the side of the cabin with the connecting door to their room so that's why I think it was louder. We didn't hear our neighbors on the other side. The cabin was in pristine order and everything worked as it should have.  Read entire member review.

Small but livable. The balcony really helped. Quiet and easy access to the elevators....long way from one end of the ship to the other though  Read entire member review.

9186. Directly under the kids day care room. Lots of bumping and jumping noises during the day, but very quiet at night. Great un-obstucted view from balcony.  Read entire member review.

Balcony cabins on deck 9 Starboard AFT are absolutely Horrible!!!

Noise from daycare center on deck 10 is unbearable!

9188: just below kids program and just above theatre. Noise wasn't too bad unless you go to bed early. 9819: Above theatre and lots of shaking during evening shows. Too small for 4 people!  Read entire member review.

No storage, tiny balcony, no electrical outlet near headboard - had to borrow an extension cord for CPAP machine; very cramped. location fine.  Read entire member review.

We enjoyed our cabin immensely, and the service of our stewards was outstanding!!  I think the cabin was a bit smaller than our prior NCL cruises on the larger ships, but adequate for our needs, incl. a small child.  Our location was the first port side balcony, and being at the end of the hallway made for a quiet area.  With two beds together, we had plenty of room for our little one to sleep in the middle, negating the need to open the sofa other than the first night.  We requested the "egg crate" padding, and it was very comfortable.  Everything was in great working condition in our cabin, though we were not crazy about the safe on floor in the closet, due to my wife's double knee replacement.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 9500 Full forward on port side, deck 9. Next door to a hotel supply closet. Some noise in the evening and early morning. Not a problem for us, but would be for late sleepers. No foot traffic, so quiet in that regard. Balcony right beneath the bridge extension. Would not book this cabin again, but wouldn't refuse it if it were the only thing available. Bridge above so it's quiet, cabins below, so that's quiet.  Read entire member review.

Only so-so by The Scar

Nice room. Small but efficient and worked for all our needs. It is forward on the port side. It is right up over the jets used to dock the ship so there is a lot of noise when docking or pulling away from the dock. We had a serious noise problem with the adjoining room. If they had there balcony door open the door adjoining the two rooms made a very loud wind noise, like having the car window open on the highway. A supervisor came and the only solution was to tape the door seams with bright red tape. It looked crappy but it worked and we were able to sleep. The balcony is small but a good place to sit with a coffee and watch as the ship leaves the ports. Cabin steward was very good.

Cabin 9510 was at the front of the ship and situated in a quiet corridor near the elevators. Only small criticism was the narrow balcony which just, and only just, managed to accommodate two chairs and a small table. Otherwise, an excellent cabin  Read entire member review.

Cabin 9530 (BE category, with queen bed) - quiet, close to the elevators. First cabin in the category on the port side. Deck nine is relatively quiet since there are no activities on the deck or above or below. Good choice.  Read entire member review.

Christmas by Dallas_Doggie_Mom
Our stateroom, 9530, was forward on the port side of the ship. It was the first BE stateroom after the BD staterooms. We loved the location. It was very near the elevators, but not too close. It had much less wiggle than the aft rooms would have had. Also, deck 9 is very quiet - no restaurants or activities on this deck or the one above or below. Something we would not have known to consider, but which is really important if you are a light sleeper. Our room was "cozy," but we had plenty of room for our stuff, and we never felt cramped. Since this was a first cruise, I didn't know what clothing would be appropriate, so I totally over-packed - two 28" suitcases, a 26", as well as two camera bags and a laptop bag. I had packed wire hangers and the closet had 15 wooden ones installed. There were plenty for our clothes. (Yay, Cruise Critic members for that suggestion!) Inside the closet, there were cubby holes for clothes as well as a top shelf and a small safe for valuables. There was a small set of drawers under the TV as well. MORE than enough room for everything we had with us! (I could have packed more, but a. I didn't need half of what I did pack and, b. my husband would have killed me!) After unpacking, I put the 26" inside a 28" and put both 28" suitcases under the bed, where they fit perfectly. The bed was comfortable, and the couch and desk and chair were very useful. We LOVED our balcony! It was a peaceful retreat from the hustle & bustle, and we loved waking up and photographing sunrise in our pjs. It was a great spot to look at the stars, also. Opening the drapes and watching the ocean sail by was very soothing and a great way to unwind! The bathroom was "cute." The toilet and shower are each behind sliding glass doors with a sink area in the middle. Again, cozy, but enough room to move comfortably. The only negative is the hair dryer. It is one of the Elisseo dryers which you find in most European hotels. They blow air, but if you have curly hair like mine and want to straighten any part of it (like my bangs), resign yourself to a week of bad hair. I had asked on many boards before we sailed about using my 1850 watt dryer, and I was told it would blow the circuits. I left it home, but I did bring my flattening iron. I was never brave enough to plug it in, though! The room only has a few outlets, and all except for one are 220. The one that is 110 clearly says "Not for Hair Dryers." My husband uses a CPAP, so, again, thanks to previous travelers posting, we knew to bring along an extension cord. It worked perfectly.  Read entire member review.

Overall a bigger room than I expected. Ample closet space and shelves. Balcony was on the small side, but consistent with what is on that ship. Location is really nice, right next to the stairs. Not too noisy. Overall a great cabin, if we sailed this ship again I wouldn't mind getting the same room.  Read entire member review.

Bathroom: Ample room in the shower which had a sliding door. Also there was a sliding door on the toilet side. When one walks in the bathroom to the right was a shower, to the left the toilet and in the middle was the sink and shelves for toiletries. Hair dryer was above the sink, on the wall. Closet: Shelves and plenty room for clothing. Shelves were in the corner. Safe placed on a shelf on the floor. We stored the suitcases under the bed because we wanted the floor space of the closet for shoes and laundry to be done. 3 bags fir under the bed. Room had a couch which I believe could be made into an additional bed. Coffee table in front of sofa as well as desk and mirror above desk. By the desk there is 1- 220V and 1-110 volt plugs. "Wall unit" adjacent to closet area but inside room, had 3 shelves ( one was for the TV) as well as drawers. Coffee maker is in the room ( on one of the shelves) with a variety of coffee and teas. Two plugs available there, one being for the coffee pot... One night table...1 shelf and one drawer ( very small drawer ) Balcony fit two chairs ( NOT RECLINING CHAIRS )and 1 small coffee table ( about 1 square foot surface space for the coffee table)  Read entire member review.

Balcony was good; however, one day we came back and there were cigarette butts on our balcony and neither of us smoke! Stateroom was on deck 9 and big theatre was on 7 and 8. Room was very noisy at night. Also, there seemed to be a band and activities on Deck 10 late in the evening and they were extremely noisy.  Read entire member review.
