Our cabin was described as partially obstructed but it did not seem to have any obstruction. It was clean and similar to cabins on other ships. All the rooms on cruises are small but efficiently designed. Was disappointed that no daily news digest paper was provided as on previous cruises on Celebrity and HAL and resort hotels. Front desk seemed perplexed when I asked why not offered.  Read entire member review.

E202: Emerald (8th floor) Obstructed Ocean View, but you can still see quite a lot. The window would be more useable if beds were arranged as twins. There are outside stairs near the window that connect the 7th level promenade deck to 8th level bow deck, and you occasionally hear people walk up them. Unfortunately, you have to go down to the 7th floor to access those stairs yourself. Visual privacy would only be an issue if you stood right by the window. Good value, and we'd book it again.

A great ship, that still needs to work out some bugs, wonderful staff and crew, but very boring entertainment with ordinary food

E326 had no obstruction.  Good location.  Even though it is over the Wheelhouse band area, we did not have any noise.  Read entire member review.
Our cabin with partially obstructed window was situated near the centre of the ship. Unfortunately the bed head was under the window so the view was wasted when lying down. When we booked, the only cabins available in this category could accommodate 4 persons. With our queen bed arrangement we were expecting to have to avoid hitting the extra beds on the walls. To our surprise the extra bunks are recessed in the ceiling - a great idea! The overall size of the cabin is not large, but sufficient for two people and our luggage. We liked the open style walk-in type robe which had generous hanging space. The shower was fairly small but the curtain was weighted down. One of the things changed during the refurbishment were new flat-screen TVs. The large number of Australians on this cruise was acknowledged by including a channel with Aussie programs & news. The small fridge was handy for keeping our supply of Coke & snacks cold. When the weather got very cold, the a/c struggled to keep the cabin warm even on the highest setting. As often complained on this site, the beds were hard. We had ordered egg-crate foam which helped a bit. We had also ordered a top sheet which is not normally supplied. Our cabin steward seemed efficient at his job.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin although it was OBSTRUCTED OCEANVIEW, did not block out much at all.We could still see land, lights, lightning and the ports and where we were. You could say that we were able to see 85% of the scenery.
