Cabin was fine the aft location giving easy access to the pools and the buffet dining. This ship has conventional propeller shafts and suffers from some propulsion based vibration, seeming to "wiggle its tail" a bit at times.

The cabin as mentioned above was o k size wise, plenty of hanging space and storage, pillows, gowns and tiolet tissue very poor.Balcony was fine for space and although noise on corridor, this was due to the location of our cabin, being near the service lifts, so was just bad first thing in a morning and when cases were collected on day of leaving the ship.  Read entire member review.

Cabin was fantastic. Baja deck midship, not to far from the lift. Small room but cosy. Lots of storage space. Shower very small (but not the end of world). Loved the balcony, what a way to have your own quiet time, best thing we did, by paying a little extra for a balcony. Overall very happy with cabin. A lovely spacious cabin with a huge balcony. The room was kept clean and had everything we needed. We were impressed that whilst everyone was in their rooms at night, the maintenance staff sprayed the hallway carpets etc. When do these people sleep. Standard balcony cabin similar to the ones on other Princess ships. Good wardrobe hanging space. Small shower cubical but otherwise great. We have done several cruises but never have we seen such a serious mechanical vibration which emanated from the engine room on the port side on the Diamond Princess. This spread through all of the decks, even up to deck 14, and caused plates and tableware to rattle constantly. Luckily, our cabin was slightly aft of midships and so the vibration was less, but never the less unacceptable.  Read entire member review.
