Room 1164 must be over a machine shop of some kind and is noisy 24 hours a day, if you are a light sleeper get another room.

Spacious rooms, ample closets, very clean rooms. The beds were pretty comfortable too.

Sad Experience by Traveler1955

What was expected for an inside cabin.

I cannot complain about the cabin. The balcony room was comfortable. The view was very nice from the balcony. Our cabin steward was great and kept the room very clean.

Our cabin was very comfortable. It was quiet and our cabin steward kept it very clean. The balcony was very nice to have. Eventhough it was a cruise to Alaska, we used our balcony a lot. The wonderful, thick robes that come in the cabin are just the ticket when you want to go out on the balcony and look out at the ocean and coastline. We like the lower decks for motion sickness problems we tend to have some trouble with. We were very satisfied with the cabin and its location.

Close to elevators, spacious, window cabin but view blocked by lifeboats.  Read entire member review.
4219 - quiet area, near laundry and elevator bank, same as any other balcony cabin I've had  Read entire member review.

GREAT stateroom for an Alaskan cruise, or any cruise where you have scenery. Problem was, the heavy FOG prevented us from enjoying that view for half the cruise.
Room is way out the way, of course, so no hallway traffic or noise. NO noise from dining room below. Vibration from engine pods was a bit high. Long way to go to Camp Carnival. Laundry across hall diagonally..never heard a thing. Easy access to dining up or down. Short cut down to deck 3 for promenade.

Loved the large balcony. Plenty of closet space and hangers. Faint noise from the showroom some nights, but it didn't really bother us.The bed was very comfortable. Shower had large containers of shampoo and bath gel, plus toothpaste was provided.

Great for viewing, photo opts and privacy. Able to step back to avoid wind.

North To Alaska by avvocato

Great room with "obstructed" view. Be advised that the obstruction is minimal as the lifeboat is below eye level.
More than enough space and storage.

Time of our life! by robyn525600

We were in cabin 5196 on the Carnival Miracle. I like the cabins on this ship and we were right off the mid-ship elevators which was convenient.

The Best Cruise ever by smokeys pal
Everything was great, the only problem we could detect was a lot of the people on this cruise were either on oxygen or walkers and a lot of the passengers were just rude, our table mates from Florida and Mississippa were great people  Read entire member review.

Great room with plenty of room and storage space. Love the extra long balcony  Read entire member review.

Had an obstructed balcony, had a very small balcony the room was standard but in poor repair, varnish coming off at the desk/vanity area and something stuck on the bathroom counter. The air was so loud and even after the maintenance people came we could not regulate the air temperature. Shower was great but oh do we hate the curtain.

Rm 5241 was conveniently located right off the elevator. The balcony was partially obscured but we knew that ahead of time. It was still very nice, extremely spacious and felt more like a hotel room than a stateroom. One of the largest rooms Ive had in over 6 cruises.

Cabin 5293 was a great cabin. It had a large balcony, which comfortably accommodated two chairs, a table, and a chaise lounge. The cabin is located in the aft section and is pretty quite. We were just steps away from the laundry area and that was very convenient for pressing our clothes. Sometimes, in port, there was quite a bit of noise at the rear of the ship, but all in all, it was great. It has a whirlpool tub!! After some of the shore excursions, it was great to come back and just soak.  Read entire member review.

The suite was nice, though not the best lay out for maximum usage of space. The balcony was enormous and perfect for viewing the scenery, which was spectacular, particularly Glacier Bay. It was quiet and worked out well.

This is our second aft balcony. The first was the Sensation. We got lots of sun but also moisture on this balcony. One regular chair that could recline and one lounger but both would have some soot on them so it was great to have the blue Carnival towels to sit on. Maybe later in the Alaskan season we would have had more use of these balconies but it was still a little too cool the end of May/first of June.

Perfection! by sealx

This is a lovely cabin. It's very quiet. The bed was very comfortable, and the cabin steward, Jose', kept it very neat and clean while we were guests. The cabin is forward, and close to elevators without being so close that you can hear the dings! I liked the deck position. It was three decks up from the theater, and three down from the Lido. We took the stairs quite often, as things were pretty close. The balcony was unobstructed, and the view was amazing!

Great location. Quiet hallway. Plenty of space.  Read entire member review.
I upgraded to a suite and was very pleased. The room was very spacious, the balcony was large enough for a recliner, 2 chairs and a small table. We very much enjoy sleeping with the balcony door open at nite and hear the water as we sail. But the bathroom was the best of the best, double sinks, a full jacuzzi tub (which we unfortunately never used) There was also an adjoining vanity w/a double closet and more drawers for storage. The closets and drawers were very generous. Our room stewardess was Ivalana and her assistant Mark, they were wonderful! We saw them a number of times each day and they always addressed us by name, asked how our day was going and wished us well. Both were so professional and personal at the same time. A real bonus to our week.  Read entire member review.

Loved this room with one exception , only one outlet for entire room. Other than that very , very satisfied. Spacious room , King Bed , couch and sitting area , full bath with shower and tub set up , glass doors. 2 sinks + additional sitting/dressing area. 2 Full closets + plenty of drawers. Very spacious balcony with 2 chairs and 2 loungers.

Cabin had a balcony, not as large as I have had on previous cruise ships but adequate with 2 web style chairs and a small table. Bed was queen size and very comfortable, found the quilt to be too heavy for my liking. Storage under bed for luggage. Plenty of closet, cabinet and drawer space. Bathroom is a good size, lots of storage shelves for personnel items. Room location was in middle of ship, near central elevators. Never heard any noise in hallway, heard slamming of doors on occasion. Very happy with our cabin.  Read entire member review.
Good room. A little cramped for four people but we loved the balcony. We were right by the elevators near the atrium on the 6th floor (Room 6227) but we didn't hear too much noise. Great room.  Read entire member review.

Wonderful balcony, wish the TV was not up so high, but we didn't watch it much anyway. It was quiet and close to elevaters  Read entire member review.
We were in 6236. The rooms were extremely clean and tidy. We had a great size balcony, and a nice size bathroom. The beds were a little hard for my liking. Closets were average to other ships. We even had a pull out couch bed, and had some extra blankets. They even gave us some toiletry samples like a razor and toothpaste which of ships have not done. It was great!  Read entire member review.
Geriatric Cruise by evandbob
Usual balcony cabin, twin beds pushed together to make a king, 185 sq ft, with a 45 sq ft balcony. TV got Colorado news and weather, some movies depending on satellite. Towel animals and twice daily cabin service. Minifridge.  Read entire member review.
We had a great location - one side of our balcony was free of neighbors!!! It is mid ship and we would choose this type of room again!  Read entire member review.

Three Saints and a Miracle by calgary cruiser
Inside cabin - 6317. Will accommodate up to 4 people but I would recommend only if guests 3 and 4 are small children. My son is 12 but the size of an adult and we were on top of each other. The cabin was very quiet though and being an inside cabin it was nice and dark so sleeping in was easy.  Read entire member review.

The views are good from here, the engine noise non-existent. Some vibration, but overall not bad. The room is crowded for even a small suite.

We had cabin 7-127 on Deck Seven and the cabin was okay. It was a standard interior cabin with everything you would need. With there being three of us, I slept on the pull down bed for most nights, which our steward put down each night and put back into place in the ceiling each morning. We had some noisy neighbors (kids) next door which every now and again you would hear in the morning, so I guess the walls are a bit thin. We complained about this to Guest Services, and, while they weren't really able to solve this problem, Carnival and the Guest Service team handled it very professionally and saw that we were okay, so hats off to them for sure.

Great Time by got-a-sec

Cabin was large and roomy with LOTS of storage. and very clean. Water pressure was very good. Just wish the decks had more comfy chairs or a chaise.

We decided on an inside cabin after having cruised in a variety of different rooms on different ships including outside, balcony, porthole and blocked view cabins. We found the size of the room fine and a very good deal price wise. We could definitely take inside again. It was extremely dark when the lights were out, pitch black which was fine but it would be nice if there was a clock as it was equally dark at noon and midnight and we did not know what time is was without putting on our glasses and checking our watch. I guess we will bring a travel clock next time.

Alaska at Last! by LJHSViking

The cabin was spacious for two adults who spend very little time in the room. We kept the curtains open and cracked the balcony door all night for fresh ocean air. The sun rose beautifully at 4:30 one Alaska morning, and the darkness didn't begin til about 10:30 each night. There was little if any cigarette smoke from the nearby balconies and to our great relief, zero cigar smoke. Balconies are great for enjoying scenery, wildlife, and the occasional pre-dinner drink, but we mostly go to the lounges for music to start our evenings.

Very Nice room. Enough storage space. Didn't hear any neighbors. Could barely hear the fog horn, kind of disappointed. You are close to elevators and stairs for easy access to Lido deck and Main dining room. laundry area is also on deck 7--mid ship. On Alaska cruise the boat only docks on this side once, so no one is peaking in on you.

Cabin 7299

I had researched this cabin a little and can tell you we really liked it. It’s a category 9b cabin on the starboard side and it shares a wall with the side of the aft elevators. Some people might be worried about elevator noise or dinging of doors opening but I can tell you we never heard anything. I loved the location because once I got off the elevator it was the next door down to our cabin. Very quick and easy to find. The other things I liked about this cabin was the layout and the balcony. The room is bigger than standard balconies and it is kinda L shaped instead of the standard shotgun layout. We had a lot of extra room from the foot of our bed over to the counters and an extra chair in there. Instead of just the standard two balcony windows, we had a third window. The balcony was very large, about 12 feet long. it had two chairs and two loungers and a side table. Lots of room. Being at the aft elevator area, it was just a short elevator ride either to the downstairs dining room or upstairs to the Serenity deck. In the future, I will try and book this cabin on any other Carnival ships with the same layout. Pablo kept our cabin neat along with bringing ice every evening and Carnival still does the turn-down service every night where you get your towel animal, chocolates and the next day’s Program of events.

Hits and Misses by holly & dave
Cabin 7349. Extended Balcony, which means that there is extra space at the bottom of the deck near the floor, because the railing slants outward at the bottom. Located on the stern of the ship, provides wonderful panoramic views especially when leaving Ports. Lots of storage. Very quiet room.  Read entire member review.
Awesome Alaska by Ponygal

I loved our location of Cabin. The hallway only had about 8 cabins so not alot of traffic, Quiet Spa above us, no balcony above us either. Great views from Balcony, we saw alot of whales. Close to elevators and one deck below lido. Not alot of ship movement. Just noticed it one night night as we were heading back into the ocean. Other than that, pretty smooth sailing.

our cabin was 8130- balcony view- (very lovely)-with 2 chairs and a patio table. we had a king sized bed and a bathroom with a shower (no tub). Toiletries were provided, as well as shower gel ane soap/daily towels etc. There is a safe, and ample closet space for 2 adults. There was also a couch and table. The tv was mounted on the wall. A perfect room for a young couple like ourselves :)  Read entire member review.

The extended balcony was good, but do not book on this level. You will hear all of the chairs being moved around on Lido Deck (deck 9, just about you)

Inside cabin foward--close to stairway to spa and Lido deck--did not hear any noise from the salon nor pool above our hallway.

Our cabin was good. A wonderful balcony. Our steward, Carlos, was attentive and polite. He made sure we were well cared for. Our only complaint about the cabin is that the beds were not comfortable after a few nights. Both of us developed sore backs from sleeping on the saggy mattresses.

Spring break by jmcathome

Cabin 8234 was handicapped room. Area was sufficient . Extended Balcony was long not wide and difficult to get sun on balcony. description of cabin says has 3 closets and it only has two. If you like sleeping at night this is not the right cabin. It was under deck and chairs moved all night long. cabin was clean and there were no major problems . Bathroom was over-sized as it was handicapped access.

We always travel with a balcony but could have skipped it this time. It's too cold to sit out. Room is nice in a nice location. VERY easy access to Lido deck food.

Under the serenity deck whirlpool? Only noisey for a while one night. Maybe because it was Alaska and it did not get used much.

Loved It! by MNM1011

Our cabin had a limited view which meant we could sea a little water, but mainly we saw a lifeboat. This was by the far the biggest cabin we've ever had and we really enjoyed the extra space.
