Carnival Miracle Stateroom 6279 Right off the aft (rear) elevators on starboard (right) side. Family size stateroom with door to balcony and a window. Cabin was the size of almost two cabins put together. King Bed setup, 2 twins (one was converted from the sofa, one was a bunk pulled down from the ceiling over the sofa). There were 4 of us. Extra long balcony with 2 chairs and one lounge chair, small table for a drink. Balcony door opens out onto the balcony cutting into the balcony space, does not stay open without a doorstop (you have to ask for one) and the doors are very, very heavy. Sliding doors would be much better. Plenty of closet space. Limited drawer space. Safe was a pain to use. Hair drying provided by it's attached to the inside of the desk/vanity drawer and it has a short cord. 2 robes, 4 beach towels provided for use (not to keep). Would have appreciated a few toiletries just for that special touch. Like lotion. None to be found. Shampoo and shower gel are provided and they are watery and don't later. TV is limited with a few channels, some in spanish (Florida based channels). 2 or 3 movies looping over and over. Alvin and the Chipmunks and Zookeeper....drove me nuts. Room steward was very good. Picking up after 4 people 2 or 3 times a day is a chore and I don't know how many staterooms he was resonsible for. They work hard and aim to please. He always gave us ice and made sure my husband's favorite beer was stocked in the mini-fridge. He also learned our names and addresses us personally whenever we saw him. Imagine remembering so many names, cruise after cruise? Impressive.  Read entire member review.

Amazing 1st cruise! by cruisingcindyrn
Room 8125 is on the Starboard side with a nice view of the bridge, I could even see the navigational monitors from my balcony. The next room midship Rm 8127 set back a few feet not allowing them to see the bridge so I felt priviledged to have the view that I had. A balcony is a must. I truly believe the few extra dollars are worth it.  Read entire member review.
