Suite 9031 is well-placed at midships on the starboard side, opposite the Concierge Lounge. It is also very close to stairwell B and elevators. These features make the suite feel very central and convenient. I especially enjoyed being able to dart across the hall for a cup of tea, a snack, or a newspaper. The room itself was spotless and well maintained, although it did show a few signs of minor wear and tear. Read entire member review. |

Well appointed suite with a large balcony. The walk in wardrobe was large with plenty of shelves and storage space.
The sofa and other furniture was a good size and comfortable, the bed was one of the best I have ever slept on in any hotel.
The bar was well stocked with soft drinks and alcohol.
Nothing to complain about simply wonderful

very spacious, large entry area with mirror and wall lights, cupboard with extra hanging space and shelves, safe, granite tops on cupboards, beautiful glass display case with plenty of glasses for all tastes.
good bed, king size, very comfy pillows and new duvet, flat panel Sharp TV, good size desk with reading lamp.
Walk in robe with good selection of hangers, plenty of drawers/shelves, separate vanity area with large mirror and built in hair dryer.
Bathroom has toilet set at one end behind a half wall, good size vanity unit with plenty of storage, very large spa bath, good quality hand held shower, easy to use taps, large towels and good toiletries.
Balcony had two teak lounge chairs and small table.
These suites were just above the life boats, but this didn't cause any problems with views etc.
this room had a connecting door but we heard no noise thru it, the rooms seem very well insulated. Read entire member review. |

The Queens Grill Suite was not impressive and needed a freshen up, the grouting in the tiles in the shower were discolored and missing, the Vanity lighting (VIP) was poor. No magnifying mirror, I had to use tape to keep the shower head in place. Don't even try to use the cheapest cotton buds you have ever seen, they break as you pick them up.
The Butler was was looking tired when he did our orientation (with couple next door so he wouldn't have to repeat himself), possibly needs tipped at the start although we didn't. No i pod dock which is in the brochure and he didn't know what I was talking about when I asked where the pillow concierge was (also in brochure but not available).
Too cold and windy on Balcony but plenty room, horizontal view excellent (remember is does not change for 6 days), looking down only lifeboats.
Perfect position for the Concierge lounge which we used all the time for coffee, cakes and cards (they don't serve coffee in the suites). The Concierge Henry was excellent. Not close to launderettes, which are very busy on the first day and there are only 3 irons in total between them. No irons allowed in suite.
Overall not what we expected from it's reputation, certainly not 5 star (probably need to go to Grand Duplex for that).
Someone had said the new owners Carnival have dropped the service and standards to make it more profitable. Read entire member review. |

Queens Grill suites offer amazing quality and space. There was no problem with storage even though, as bllroom dance fanatics, we bring a lot of luggage and footwear. The Butler service was excellent and the balcony a more than adequate size. Read entire member review. |

Q5 Queens Grill ist very spaceous, but bathtub with jacuzzi has very high walls. A proper shower would be more welcomed.
Partially redigned decoration will not match with furniture, details are taken away for cost cuttings.
Canapees are daily supplied, but obviously days old.
Rooms service is efficient and free.
The "Butler" is rather a joke as it is more or less a perfect cabin steward, not more. Read entire member review. |
