4029 - room itself was nice with in-hull balcony. However it was directly opposite the pantry that was used by the cabin stewards for food and drink service. We were woken every morning before 6am. If you tried to catch up on your sleep with a quick nap in the afternoon, they would start again about 3pm. We also had some issues with vibration on a few occasions. It was particularly bad on the first night and seemed to affect cabins on different locations in different decks rather than one section of the ship. Read entire member review. |

Good spot. Unobstructed view. Furniture a bit worn. King-size bed had two parallel ruts. Lots of hangers. Read entire member review. |

Our cabin was just across from the laundry and was very handy for checking that the iron or machines were free instead of making a trek with a pile of clothes. We were towards fwd of the ship but it was a very comfortable cabin and I would recommend it. We didn't use our balcony a lot because of the rough weather, I would not recommend it for sitting in the sunshine though because of the seclusion of it, you would struggle getting a tan on there. Deck 4, enclosed balcony double cabin. Great if you worry about motion sickness as you barely feel motion. Cabin it self was a reasonable size and nicely furnished. I found the chunky TV a bit cumbersome and it took up too much of the limited desk area. The bed was very comfy as was the sofa bed that ensured that our son slept like a baby. The bedding and linen was all new and welcoming. The balcony is fine as you are sheltered from the elements and meant that we could enjoy the view even in tropical downpours. also you have privacy from others. The bathroom was a reasonable size (much bigger than Queen Elizabeth) although cost cutting with the shower curtain made things a bit! The cleaning was not fantastic, the floor of the shower and bathroom gully were quite disgusting but this was rectified. Toiletries were good quality and replenished regularly. Very small cabin for three of us. Sofa bed converted to third bed but huge loss of valuable space when made up - couldn't open vanity drawers, balcony door or fridge as bed in the way. A ceiling drop down bed is far better for all concerned.
Step up and into bathroom could be cumbersome in the middle of the night!!! Good job that we weren't larger framed people as there would be serious difficulties in using the facilities.
Carpet felt very thin underfoot - could feel very firm metal(?)base underneath.
Windows/door onto balcony smeary/grimey - surely these should be in the cleaning shedule?

Cabin 4196 comfortable bed, enough closet and drawer space and satisfactory bathroom. Although over the Queens room we did not hear any noise. We were in a sheltered balcony by choice. Compared to the Q Victoria balcony room which has a much smaller shower and lacks drawer space except under the bed which is of no use to elderly people, the QM is a better choice. We have had rooms on B4, B5, B6 and eleven and the noise has not been a problem. Read entire member review. |

We were very satisfied with out cabin. First of all, there were plenty of clothes hangers which is unusual on a cruise ship. The bathroom had a nice large walk-in shower, the water was always hot. The beds would be made up by the time we got back from breakfast and the bathroom was kept spotlessly clean. We enjoyed the sheltered balcony. I ordinarily like a glass balcony railing but on this ship going across the ocean, we wouldn't have been able to sit on the balcony at all because of the wind. We never heard any noise in our cabin either from the hall or other cabins. The television had a number of selections so we could watch a movie or keep up with the news. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 6083 seemed a little dated: rust around the inside window frame, outdated bathroom, tired looking furniture. Read entire member review. |

Cabin # 6086 Sheltered balcony. Deck 6 nice cabin, no complaints. Great cabin for a T/A. If in warm weather next time I would do a regular balcony. Read entire member review. |

We were on the fourth level. We like it so well that we've booked there each cruise. The QM2 is an extremely stable vessel and mid-ship on the fourth level is about the best ride you can get. We get minimal engine noise and can't hear the disco. The "balconies" on the fourth level of this ocean liner consist of holes cut into the hull rather than the traditional open-to-the-floor characteristic of most cruise ships. We are quite content with this arrangement, but you can't see the ocean from a sitting position. It is important for first time guest to understand this feature before booking one of these rooms. Excellent enclosed balcony for colder crossings and perfect positioning in middle of ship
Remember the higher on the ship , the more sway you will experience this room was best position for the force 8 we experienced Read entire member review. |

The stateroom was adequate in size, had a very comfortable king size bed and great pillows. Storage was very adequate. Protected balcony was as good as, if not better than, an open balcony. Read entire member review. |
