Very quiet, stable cabin on midships - hull balcony means you need to stand to see the sea - good furninshings, storage and bathroom. Some wear and tear on the settee. Bathrobes thin. Read entire member review. |

Cabin was in a good position. There were inside cabins opposite but didn't disturb us. Reasonably furnished with nice comfortable bed, enough wardrobe space for a 7 day crossing and small but workable bathroom with shower only. Balcony was sheltered type but worked very well for an Atlantic crossing and rough seas and could still be used, good size. New LCD television with reasonable programs. Read entire member review. |

Cabin 5091 Cabin close to lifts(deck 5), but pretty quiet. Could hear the "pinging" sound of the lifts though. Very quiet cabin. Shower didn't drain very well. Not sure if all cabins are like this, or just mine. Read entire member review. |

Stateroom
Our stateroom (5166) was on deck 5 near stairway C which is a great position for access to all the main areas; (previously we have been on deck 8). The cabin was spotless, although some of the fittings seemed a little tired. There is plenty of storage in both the bedroom and the bathroom areas.
The balcony was sheltered which meant that the balcony edge is quite high up within the shell plating of the ship and you really only have a view of the sea when standing up. As some of our party were next door we had the partition opened which made for a really nice space. Read entire member review. |

The cabin was very well situated with easy access to anywhere on the ship, with maybe the exception was the Library. It was very quiet and we not disturbed by any noises. The balcony was a sheltered variety with only a small opening to the the ocean and lots of metal. Read entire member review. |

We were in cabin 5244, right at the back of the QM2. It was a long way to walk almost anywhere but close to the laundry - a plus. Nice cabin, and we found the in-hull balcony good for escaping the wind (which others higher up were often unable to do when at sea) but the steel is a bit intimidating. We were blighted with a dreadful smell of sewage on the balcony on a reasonably high percentage of the days of our cruise so I hope that problem is fixed for future occupants. Excellent storage and nice little bathroom. Read entire member review. |

Cabin was toward the back of the ship and was a little noisy from the engines. Not as windy as the upper balconies due to being sheltered. Read entire member review. |

Well appointed and clean. Just enough wardrobe space for 7 days but not much longer. No noise issues from deck above but some noise from extraction fans with balcony door open. Slight roll movement even in slight sea states. Read entire member review. |

Very noisy neighbours and the balcony has metal doors between cabins, this heightens the noise.
Cabins are very small, the bathroom is the size of a small cupboard at home. Read entire member review. |
