4072 was an ideal cabin in an ideal location convenient to all the shipboard activities on decks 2 and 3 and very near Sir Samuel's in particular. There was a shipboard laundry just across the hallway. That was convenient though it was often crowded. We had a king-size bed for my husband and me. My son had a sleeper sofa that had to be made up every day by the steward. We had a Big screen TV that we didn't use except to check on the ship's location. The desk was where I parked myself and my laptop computer. My son used the sofa and the coffee table in front of it. My husband was always in the deck chair on our sheltered balcony taking photos of other ships and the sea itself. On the return voyage when it was warmer we learned to prop the door open even at night. It helped in inadequate ship AC enormously. Others were doing it, too. You could hear the whistling sound as you passed their rooms walking down the hallway. We didn't think the closet would be big enough, but we were wrong. There were four drawers and plenty of space to hang suits and dresses. The bathroom was one step up. There was a marine toilet, a vanity with a mirror and a wastebasket. No tub but a shower, thank you. The shower head could be removed from the wall and held right above you. Our cabin and all cabins had a private "mailbox" on the wall outside the door. The room phone provided push button access to room service, the purser's desk, and your steward or stewardess.  Read entire member review.
8004 is situated close to the Spa at the bow end of the ship and a slightly weird "wooshing" noise can be heard from early-ish in the mornings - we think this is the spa's elevator. It is not too intrusive however. Part of the bridge is visible and we saw the Captain intently observing a crew boat drill one morning - he gave us a wave! We found this cabin quieter than 8076 which we were in last year - I think being at either end of the ship is useful in that respect. The bathroom is small but even so there was plenty of space for all my toiletries (and there are a lot of them!) The cabin was still in a good state of repair (apart from the bedspread mentioned in my review). You can see signs of wear and tear if you look but there was nothing significant. I wish Cunard would sort out the problems with the electrical sockets as noted in my review - most passengers must experience the same problems we did.  Read entire member review.
8112 - obstructed view to the right (lifeboat), kitty corner to the laundry (which for me was a great plus...convenient), and quiet.  Read entire member review.

Great location midship on deck 11 with easy access to elevators. Quiet location and rarely felt any movement.  Read entire member review.

Nice and spacious, smaller than mini-suite on NCL Gem. Slightly obstructed by lifeboats, which are hung out all over Deck 7 below. Old-fashioned mechanisms.  Read entire member review.
