Balcony very private and a large area. Stateroom a very good size with easy access to exit areas. Limited noise from other casbins. Pleased to see no ones name were on each stateroom. Fantastic cabin - loads of room for the two of us. Once we unpacked we put our cases under the bed - there was plenty of cupboard space. Extremely comfortable beds with lovely linens. The bathroom was a good size - only used the jacuzzi once, but it was lovely that once! The cabin guys were fantastic and kept it very clean. To be honest, we hardly ever saw them but the room was spotless every time we got back to it. I felt very spoilt. I loved having the balcony to sit out on, get fresh air and watch the world go by. Great room, lots of closets and larger veranda. Linens on the bed were very soft and comfy. As we were close to the outside elevator it was so quiet we never heard a thing. Port side location on Dec 8 (Navigation), just around the corner from the forward elevators. Roomy, well equipped, lots of closet and storage space, large bathroom, dual sinks, whirlpool tub and separate shower, Elemis toiletries, robes supplied, fridge with mini-bar, large balcony equipped with lounge chairs, ottomans and regular chairs/dining table. This room is located directly under the port side Lido deck under the area where the ping pong (table tennis) tabvles are located. 8047 - SS Superior Verandah Suite the best possible cabin configuration - plenty of room, storage and deck space for both two settees and table to two. Everything worked perfectly and room temperature easy to control. Some Lido deck chair scraping late in the afternoon when the pool area was getting cleaned up but otherwise a very quiet cabin. Would recommend the port side "even" numbered cabins for the AUS/NZ itinerary for the best port views, but our starboard was not bad in this regard. Any verandah is better than no verandah is our rule, though any cabin is the right cabin at the right price it this is what it takes to get an other cruise.  Read entire member review.

We upgraded to a suite and found the accommodations to be more than we expected: plenty of storage, a great king-size bed, and a wonderful veranda. We were on the eighth deck and, considering that the pool area was directly above us, the cabin was surprisingly quiet. The bathroom featured a bathtub as well as a shower. This is a very nice aand large cabin...get's a little bit of daytime noise from the lido deck seaview cafe when crew is moving things around, but not too bad...like the entire ship, the cabin has a few nicks and dents that will be cleaned up during the upcoming September drydock.  Read entire member review.

We were in cabin 8072 and had no problem. We were a few cabins away from the central bank of elevators. Although we were close to the glass elevators we never felt as if we had any privacy issues. Triple set of closet doors, plenty of storage (two drawers under bed, end table by couch, bed tables, drawers in vanity, drawers in desk) Our room had a shower stall and bathtub. Our cabin was really nice, quiet, roomy with lots of closet space, cupboard space and bathroom space. DH did find the shower to be too small, so he showered in the shower/tub combination, which I began to do, because it seemed to be difficult to get down into the tub for a bath, but remember we're 66 and 70!! Our room number was 8084 and I certainly recommend that room! Oosterdam SS8085 is an adjoining room to SS8083. The door joining these suites is situated in such a way that you lose one of three closets. This is a pretty big deal. Nice balcony. Whirlpool bath tub did not work. most comfortable beds at sea.  Read entire member review.

This cabin was a good choice for us - by luck, as it was the only available cabin in SS grade when we booked. Plenty of space in closets and drawers for clothes;very comfortable bed (smaller suitcases fit under the bed) - but TV not in the best position if you want to watch TV in bed; great bathroom with whirlpool bath and separate shower - very spacious; huge balcony with good quality furnishings; air con a bit too severe for us so turned it down most of the time; good position on the ship - close to elevators, good view of everything - just a bit noisy at ports where lifeboats are used as tenders.  Read entire member review.
