1028 on the main deck was close to the front of the ship on the port (left) side. It was quiet with no vibration or many people walking by. Being an internal cabin it was easy to sleep as when the lights were out it was pitch black.
Small shower. Fold down bed over the double bed for one daughter.
Fold out divan bed for the other.
Plenty of cupboard and drawer space. Small shower.
It felt cramped but it allowed us to spend money on other things. We didn't want to spend much time in our cabin anyway.

Typical cabin layout, but HAL offers the most comfortable mattresses among other cruise lines we said before. Furnitures and carpet were in average condition. Read entire member review. |

We were in an inside cabin. We found for the compact size that it was, it was very efficiently designed. There was plenty of storage space and they provided sufficient hangers and shelf space. We were forward in the ship on deck seven and close enough to the elevators. Our only concern was their vacuum type plumbing system. At peak times there was often a delay in flushing. J-8129:
Good size; great bed; shower, no tub; plenty of closet space. Eating a full meal in-room requires some forethought since there is no couch...just one chair, a small table, and a vanity stool. No clock, and no window to see daylight means you have to wake up on purpose. Read entire member review. |
