Very quiet room. Closet never big enough for two adults and 8 days. Cabin steward kept room clean and tidy. Love the aft cabins and this one was no exception. Large balcony. The "odor" was terrible all week. We noticed it all over the 8th floor. It really is ashame as that was the only real complaint. We do not smoke so the people smoking outside was terrible. From 6am till 12am the smell of smoke permiated our room and balcony. this alone will prevent me from sailing RCI again.  Read entire member review.

We loved our room - 8672
It was a little bit more money - a few more square feet in the room, but the balcony was wonderful. However, please remember, if you do not like to walk, this is all the way in the back of the ship.

cabin 9064, very comfortable bed. bathroom adequate, though a little smelly at times. Nice balcony, but a table would have been nice.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 9074 is slightly larger than most balcony cabins. Just beyond the hump. Great location near stairs and elevators. Library around the corner. No concern with noise above or below. Room safe very much appreciated. Sofa very comfortable but beds and bedding need updating. Bathroom very typically small but functional. No concern with water temp. Bar fridge not very cold but handly for storing some personal beverages or snacks. Carpet is wearing - appeared to be a section replaced. TV is old tube type. Upcoming refurb may resolve some of these points.  Read entire member review.

The cabin was a good size, small closets, very small shower. It was too hot for us, average temp was around 78 degrees. Location was great, beside the library and the first cabin at the hallway entry. Very soundproof; could never hear anything from the outside or the cabin next door. Balcony great; approximately 120 sq. feet.  Read entire member review.

Booked Cabin 9092 specifically for the balcony, which was truly big and very private. Limited noise from the outside and quick access to the main staircase. Would not hesitate to book it again.  Read entire member review.

A lovely cruise by docjbs
Great location 2 decks below buffet & pool deck. close but not too close to stairs & elevators.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was wonderful but the bathroom was smaller. The sofa bed was full size and comfortable. Our television was the old small ones but other cabins had the nice flat screens. Our stateroom attendant didn't make up the sofa bed and so there was no linen to sleep on and there were 3 of us. Calls to the stateroom attendant and guest relations did not help at all. The balcony was nice. We were able to store empty luggage under the bed.  Read entire member review.

Shower is very small although we were able to use it with no problem. There were a lot of heavier people on the cruise and we were wondering how they could fit in it. Our balcony was nice sized and had 2 chairs and a table. They did not have a chaise lounger on it.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin: We finally scored the coveted 9256, for both weeks. It's a D2, aft, portside. The special thing about this cabin is its balcony. All the aft balconies are special -- the middle ones are very deep. This one isn't quite as deep as the one's in the middle, but it's very wide, and part of it curves around to the port side of the ship. That part isn't really usable -- you can squeeze over there to get a different vantage point, but you can't sit over there. The balcony has 2 lounge chairs, 2 regular chairs and a small table. Unlike the balconies in the middle, it gets a fair breeze -- enough that we had to be careful things didn't blow away when we were underway. The middle aft balconies get no breeze at all. We had breakfast on the balcony several times each week. While we enjoyed it, we'd be just as happy with any aft balcony, or hump balcony, in the future. The cabin, itself, was in good shape. It was your standard D2, plenty of room, plenty of storage. In fact, we didn't even use all the available storage. Our cabin steward, Jeremy was a gem. We found out toward the end of the 2nd week that the female cabin steward handling some of the cabins back in that section was his wife. They're from St. Vincent, and departed the same day we did, on vacation. The minifridges in the rooms are now stocked and maintained by the bar staff. We emptied ours and had the barman take the contents, so we had a place for our Cokes. Jeremy made sure we had a full bucket of ice every afternoon. Robes were not waiting in the cabin, but were supplied on request. They aren't always available -- they go to the suites first, and then, if available, non-suite guests (diamond or above C&A) can get them. We were lucky and were able to get them. I had pre-ordered an egg crate for the bed, and it was on the bed when we got there. Last year's cabin had a new flat screen TV; the TV in this cabin hadn't been changed out yet. I also used my own hair dryer -- the one in this year's cabin was an older, harder to use one. However, we do understand why they're not happy about people bringing on extension cords. We have a short one with 3 plugs we travel with, and toward the end of the 2 weeks I did pop the circuit breaker to the 110 power in the room with the hair dryer. If you travel with a lot of electronics, you'll need something -- there are only two 110 outlets at the desk area. We have my iPhone, my iPad, my Shuffle (for exercising), 4 cameras and my hair dryer -- 2 outlets frequently don't cut it. There is no 110 outlet in the bathroom, either.  Read entire member review.

Great view with a great balcony! We were at the back of the ship on an end cabin and our balcony was quite roomy. The bathroom did have a sewage odor in it which we noticed was worse at the end of the trip. We came prepared because we read about this prior to going on the cruise.  Read entire member review.

On aft cabins, you may see sites after everyone one else but you have a panoramic view! This deep balcony provided a lot of privacy and the covered portion sheltered us from sun and rain. It's a quiet location.  Read entire member review.

We had a great balcony. We never heard hallway noise and the crew was friendly.  Read entire member review.

Was a short walk from elevators on starboard side of the ship. Is a D2 in the middle of D1s. Not far from hump, hard to see around it to the back, but have a good view of the front. Was quiet location in my opinion. Average balcony, good closet space, average bathroom. Did have the doors and not the curtain which was a big plus.  Read entire member review.

We had booked this cabin 10 months prior, loved it, best cabin for us so far, just perfect! 9576 on the hump.  Read entire member review.
9576
We loved our cabin choice of 9576. It was close to the elevators and steps, but set forward a little bit and therefore quiet. The balcony was large, and had a portion that stuck out farther than the adjacent balconys, so it was easy to see where we were headed, without looking across other balconies. The toilet didn't always flush on the first try. The water pressure in the shower was GREAT.  Read entire member review.

Great location, nice size, good storage, good view. Quiet EXCEPT when rock band plays late in Centrum - NOT GOOD! That has never happened before.  Read entire member review.
9580
We were Cabin 9580. It was D2 Balcony on the hump. We thought the room was nice and had plenty of space for 2 people. The hump balcony was great but I just felt it needed a little bigger table (Ok for sitting drinks on, but small for sitting the breakfast tray on each morning. 9580 was right across from the library. The centrum area is located right there. They had music and a 1970's party one night on the 4th deck centrum and although you can hear the music clearly outside the room, It was more of a muffled sound inside the room and it was not disturbing and would not be unless you have to have absolute quiet when you are in your cabin trying to sleep. Other than that you never heard any noise etc while in the cabin. There was plenty of closet space with shelves for storing your clothes along with 6 drawers on the desk/vanity (We had plenty of room for our clothes for a 7 day cruise). Were able to fit 4 suitcases under the bed with no problem at all. The bathroom was small, but big enough for one person to use the sink area at a time. The shower with sliding door was round shape and plenty of room to shower in, but not much else. There was a shampoo dispenser in there as well.  Read entire member review.

Lovely by Wingtips56
Great balcony, plenty of storage, quiet location. A long way to the Centrum stairs/elevators. It looks like it faces an aft stairway on the Deck Plans, but this is a crew/emergency only stairway, so there was no noise, ever.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin on Serenade was a little smaller than on the larger ships but not so that we really noticed. We did find that there was more noise from adjacent cabins and hallways. Where do they get those beds? We want to bring one home.  Read entire member review.

Very spacious, with plenty of wardrobes and drawer space (even if there had been two persons in the cabin). Nice shower with plenty of hot water. Towels of good quality. Very comfy bed with good quality bed linen. Balcony of a good size. Chairs comfy but the tiny round table held very little - far too small. Lack of sockets for re-charging batteries, I-Pad etc Cabin position very good. Near enough to the lift but not in a noisy spot. No trouble with noise at all.  Read entire member review.

Great Ship - Great Value by cruiserillinois
Nice room. Typical: small shower, small head. Great bed. Very quiet location. Could smell cigarette smoke on balcony: neighbors? smoking area? Never figured it out. 9040  Read entire member review.
