Great location. Easy access to the main deck and restaurant. Far enough away to not hear the noises of the Lido deck. As private of a balcony as you can get. (Only neighbors peering around the divider could see in.) Room was very nice and large enough for 2 people. I was very glad I picked this room. Read entire member review. |

6th floor near the rear casino elevators - can hear music from the casino between 9 and midnight in the room - loud! We thought it was our neighbors!
Otherwise a great cabin and convenient to everything. Perfect and plenty of room for two people. Read entire member review. |

Our cabin was great! There was little traffic so far forward. Room Steward was the best we've ever had! It was also neat to be able to see up into the bridge but the bridge did block many of the photo opportunities looking forward from the balcony. Read entire member review. |

Nice little balcony. Entry is quite tight with the bathroom door right at entry of stateroom. Heavy little table in front of couch/bed. I wish there was a fridge to use. Read entire member review. |

Room 8265 is a good balcony cabin in a very bad location. It is right outside the glass elevators and the live music in the lobby bar and the elevator chimes can be heard until midnight. If you retire before that time it will be very noisy. Read entire member review. |

8266/68/70 - a bit too close to the atrium elevators. We could hear the elevators "ding" when they arrived all night, and some loud conversations in the atrium area. Below other cabins, but very close to Lido pool and buffet. Read entire member review. |

Great location, the twin size beds were small, old, and felt like they had body indentations in them. The balcony light did not work. The public address system did not work well in room, could not hear announcements. We did not hear any noise. We had a great room steward. Read entire member review. |

Standard balcony cabin, just fine. Great balcony, lots of shelves in the bathroom for toiletries, good shower. 45 seconds from cabin door to nearest coffee station in the Red Sail restaurant. Read entire member review. |

We were in room 8401. This cabin is quite noisy as you have the pool deck above you. About midnight every night, you could hear them moving chairs around and whatever else they were doing up there. The room is a standard carnival room with a balcony. It's in the middle of the ship which was nice, the view was great. The room had plenty of space I thought, for three people. Three closets, two tiny drawers (one you can't use) and two larger drawers. I felt comfortable with the space. The Air conditioning is terrible in this room. If you get hot easily, this is not a room for you. If your cold natured...bingo :). The toilet always had a black ring in it and the shower clogged and over flowed twice on our cruise. The door lock on the bathroom door would stick occasionally, and the toilet flush button did not work from time to time Read entire member review. |

Our balcony room 8416 was under the Lido dining hall, but that particular area is carpeted so we did not hear overhead chair movement there as other have complained about. This was the last cabin available on this deck for three persons, so I had some reservations that it might be a noisy cabin. Our cabin was right outside of the elevator bank and stair area. This is a convenient location, but as one might expect there is some noise generated from the hall areas. Most guests are considerate but a few late night partiers made some loud hall conversations at late hours that woke me up. But all in all it worked out fine. We brought along ear blocks, but we never felt the need to use them. The all night Pizza station is also close to this room, but again that was not a problem for us, we did hear any noise from them. My cabin was wonderful--comfortable bed, spacious balcony, plenty of storage space. It was nice to have the sofa and small table for when we had room service. Read entire member review. |

We were pleased with our balcony cabins - on the port side of ship forward on the Lido deck. During a warmer time of year on this cruise I would choose starboard because you do get sun most of the day on the balcony. There was some motion but nothing unusual but we do not suffer from motion issues. It was quiet having cabins both above and below. The location on the Lido deck was excellent - no fighting for an elevator to get to pools, buffet, etc... Also there are self serve laundry facilities on this floor. Read entire member review. |

We had a balcony room in the 8340's and the room was nice, a bit tight with four people but manageable. The balcony was TINY and there is no bathtub. This is the third cruise I've taken in a balcony room and the first with no tub! Read entire member review. |

We liked the balcony room on deck 8 aft. It is a good central location. Easy to get to the Buffet and Golden. Read entire member review. |

8D Balcony cabin located just below the Lido Deck. Lot of chair scraping noises at all hours from the deck above. Cabin service staff very good and the cabin was clean but poorly maintained. The flat screened TV information system is mostly useless. The shower clogged the first day but the plumber was there within an hour to unclog it. He was a very busy guy as we saw this same plumber on numerous occasions with his bag of tools in the passageway. Read entire member review. |

Our cabin was spacious, had plenty of storage, and was kept immaculately clean by housekeeping staff. Unfortunately, the space filler between the matresses was a bit lumpy and required some navigating. One important note: our cabin was on Deck 8, directly underneath the Red Sail seating area adjacent to the midship pool and Jumbotron. The chairs scraping on the wood floors of the dining area can be heard -- LOUDLY -- on the ceiling of the Deck 8 rooms beneath. One night, it was unbelievably loud and continued unabated well after midnight. As it turned out, maintenance was washing and buffing the floors of the dining area, and was moving chairs by dragging them across the floor. As soon as I went upstairs and mentioned the noise, however, it stopped. Read entire member review. |
