We had a balcony room, as is our usual preference. The room itself was rather plain, with a regular door and large window to the balcony instead of the usual sliding glass. I prefer the sliding glass, but this presented no real problem. What was disappointing was the couch and the bed, especially the bed! Both were terrible, but I found it difficult to sleep on a bed that was comparable to lying on a table. I complained to our room steward the very next morning, and for 2 more consecutive mornings, but nothing was done until I went to the customer service desk on day 4 when they were finally able to come up with a pad that made it more comfortable. The same pad that my room steward said was not available. The couch was just as uncomfortable and not suitable for watching TV. I had noticed that some of the passengers had taken to using the deck chairs in their rooms. The bathroom was small and the shower was minuscule with a shower curtain instead of glass doors and I found the hairdryer being outside, attached to a drawer an inconvenience. very close to elevators and Amber Palace showroom, but very far from Platinum dining room which is where you are if you have assigned dining times. you can faintly hear the noise from the Amber Palace, but the shows don't run late. overall it is a great room.  Read entire member review.

Larger than expected bathrooms and showers. Our friends were in a cabin in the 6353 or 6357 area and they said their room was directly above where the band in the casino played. We were in 6339 and 6343 and thought the cabins were perfect.  Read entire member review.

Would have been better if the couch and bunk weren't always made into beds but instead having a couch to use would have been nice and having the bunk up would have given more head room and less head bruises! We were right above a club but it didn't bother us but at times it was loud. Little space to put 4 suitcases due to couch cushions being under the bed. Our bed was horrible. You could see the lumps in the bed when you walked into the room. There was no cuddling on this cruise because the mattresses were so worn. Both my husband and I were forced to sleep in the well worn groves of the pushed together twin beds. My experience on my last cruise was you could barely tell that the bed was two twin beds pushed together. This room is also across from the laundry room. Next to a room with a family that had a crying child. We could hear the child, the mother yelling at the child and another child slamming the balcony door and yelling out on the balcony every morning. Garish, adequate, enough space, ready for an update, good (almost too bright) lighting, good storage, nice TV, mattress firm and needs replacement, few outlets- needed extension cord for CPAP machines, quiet location. We went to our state room which was a balcony on Verandah. Room 8268. This room was prime location! Right near the main atrium elevator and right by Lido deck. It is sandwiched between two room floors so we heard no lido deck activity but were close to EVERYTHING! The room was plenty big enough and very clean. The balcony was prime location and wonderful!!! Carnival Glory, 8352 - port-side, mid-ships, balcony cabin on the Verandah deck. Location close to the mid-ships elevators and stairwell, and laundry room. Only 1 deck below Lido deck which was good and bad. Good because it's convenient to all the food and activities on the Lido, but bad because it's directly below the outdoor dining area of the Red Sail restaurant, and we would hear chairs scraping the floor and being slid around above us all during the day. The noise wasnt nearly as bad at night, though, after the Red Sail finished serving dinner.  Read entire member review.

Closets are perpendicular to the cabin door and you could clobber the open closet door with the cabin door or the bathroom door. Plenty of storage space. Bed was comfortable. TV is a flat panel but not a huge one ABC, NBC, and CBS along with some cable and paid movie channels. Bathroom was adequate as was the shower. Great room overall in the cabin and the bathroom. Plenty of closets and drawers to stuff things. Tip: have the mini bar emptied by your cabin steward and use the fridge for medicine, water and beer. Beds have to be adjusted to your likeness. Ask steward for egg crates under the mattress and be aware there are two beds (cots) pushed together for a double/queen so there is a middle and sometimes the two beds do not butt together on the same plain. Towels were well worn and they do give you two beach towels to take on shore, just don't loose them as they are $22 each. There is a safe in the room as well. TIP: you can bring on none opened water and soda and one bottle of wine, carry on not checked luggage.  Read entire member review.
