Being on the first floor was handy for disembarkation at ports as well as access to the main public areas on decks 3,4 and 5. It was a little less convenient to access Lido, however. Read entire member review. |

We loved our cabin. We were on Deck 1, Riviera. We were about 3/4 of the way down towards the aft. We had a cabin that had 2 double beds that we had converted into a King. Plenty of room for what you do in your cabin...sleep, shower and change clothes. Plenty of closet and drawer space. Could have a LITTLE more counter top space for things you buy, etc. but no problem. Efficient use of space in the desk and TV area. And it had a mini bar.
We were concerned about possible engine noise prior to the cruise. It was never an issue. We heard a very low hum that never changed pitch the whole time - perfect to fall asleep to.
The hallways can get noisy. But just like hotels, you can't manage kids running down the hall at 2:00AM. we never heard anything from next door cabins, above or below us. Read entire member review. |

Good location, especially for those who suffer from motion sickness. Close to 2 sets of stairs/elevators. Under the dining room so no noise from above. Read entire member review. |
