E705 great standard veranda, cat BE aft end of Emerald deck starboard. Largest veranda (9x9) available with extra tall headroom. Fully covered. Separated completely from E703 veranda by steel bulkhead, from E707 by standard divider. Crew service doorway across the hall but little to no noise.
D721 mini-suite, fully covered veranda. Very close to stern, close to laundry. Long walk to mid-ship or forward but very quiet. Read entire member review. |

Our room was great for 2 people. The balcony was ample and we were always checking sea conditions every morning. Large closet and more than enough storage for us. Now, the bathroom was clean and compact, but I am a big gal, and I could barely turn around in that shower without bumping into the handicap rail. The room was well located for noise. The only drawback was that being on deck 12 with no other balconies above us, there was never any shade on our balcony unless the sun was on the other side of the ship. I am sure this is fine when cruising Alaska, but during a canal cruise it got awfully hot out there. Read entire member review. |

Our cabin was great, close to elevator. Could feel the hum of ship engine, tho not distracting. Could not hear the lounge below. The balcony was especially roomy (4 chairs + table), shaded, private, adjoined friend's balcony. Read entire member review. |

Our cabin had the usual Princess balcony set up. The bed, bathroom and closet were on the right side of the room as you enter. Plenty of closet space. Room safe. Nice covered, private balcony with four deck chairs and a table. The room is very close to the open back deck of the ship. This was a great place to watch as we went through the locks.
The only problem is that the room (and the four behind it) are right above the Universe Lounge. This wasn't generally a problem, but several nights, the music (especially the bass) carried easily to our room until about 11:00p.m. Zumba also started in the Universe Lounge at 9:00 a.m. most mornings, so if you aren't an early riser, this might be a consideration.
The laundry room is around the corner on the starboard side so was very convenient.
If you are used to the buffet being on the back of the ship, a reminder that it is in the front of this ship, so you do get some exercise. Read entire member review. |

| E736 |
We had E736. We picked this room because it was on the port side and it was fully covered. While there were some vibrations and movement (we both really enjoy this), we thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and would book it again. It was perfect for the sun and we spent the majority of our Panama Canal day on our balcony. The best part of this cabin is the balcony because it stretched slightly to the aft so you get a 270 degree view. There is the occasional person who pops around the corner though, so if you do not like the occasional voyeur, then this is not the room for you. ? Read entire member review. |
