Generally a good cabin apart from the balcony which was overlooked by numerous other balconies as it was on a corner Read entire member review. |

A great room location, the balcony is somewhat covered (not directly, but two floors above) and with the exception of the bridge it is very private. It is very close to a large area at the front of the ship that few know about. Walk through two doors and you get a great view from the front of the ship This is the best location to watch the canal transit. Good size room, although the couch is worn. B215, deck 11, is a great location on the Panama Canal cruise because it's close to the front of the ship and there is nothing below the balcony so you can see straight down as you pass through the canal. Plus it's very close to the observation deck on Deck 11 which is where you'll want to be as you approach the canal. Mini suites are the way to go when you're on a 14 day cruise. Lots of space. Full bathtub (shaving your legs without having to do a complicated yoga posture, ladies, like you do in the standard shower stall). Beware: being at the front of the ship on rough sea days will have you staggering around your cabin like a drunken sailor. Read entire member review. |

Liked the open balcony -- private, not claustrophobic. Easy to get to the front for viewing opening of the gates at the canal. Read entire member review. |

We had B504 on the Island Princess, a mid-ship bump-out end mini-suite. We had chosen that cabin for the unobstructed balcony view on two sides, and some protection from the wind produced by sailing. It is a covered balcony, and a little smaller than other balconies, but perfect for two. We appreciated many scenic vistas while sitting on our balcony due to this location. The port side was perfect for the southbound cruise, and viewing the glaciers. On channel 42 there is the webcam of the voyage, and the naturalist or staff notify you if there is wildlife spotted. We'd leave our balcony door open to listen. Great ambiance with the music. We were able to see whales, dall porpoise, otter, eagles, other sea birds, and sea lions from the balcony.
The mini suite bathroom has a full tub, which is a great plus according to those who have just the shower stall. There was plenty of storage and closet space, room for the luggage under the bed, and a safe in the room. The steward service was very good, and we could count on the cabin being serviced twice daily.

Mini-suite, Caribe deck, midship, port side. Never heard much noise unless someone was directly in front of door while speaking. Crew room across the hall, never heard noise from them. Elevators/staircase nearby, no noise. Liked convenience of mid-ship - easy to reach either end of ship. Room was bright, spacious, comfortable. View was wonderful. Balcony is smaller than the balcony rooms down the hall, but this was a "bump-out" room to the rear of the mid-ship bump-out's and it blocked any breeze or rain.Fully covered overhead by Baja deck balconies. Overall good cabin in more or less the middle of the ship. Lots of room for storage, good size bathroom. Good for parents/small kids, would NOT recommend the mini-suite if the 3rd and 4th people are over about 14. Read entire member review. |

D706. Very nice minisuite, fully covered balcony and private. Close to, but not too close to coin laundry. Very handy. Read entire member review. |

Cabin was very nice. Good location. Headed back to the first stairway and right up to the back pool or right down to the theater. Could walk the other way right to the library and the center atrium. No problems here. It was actually an obstructed view cabin. Read entire member review. |
