Twin beds that make up into a queen-size bed. Separate sitting area with sofa bed. Suites featue two televisions, refrigerator with wet bar, walk-in closet, bath with tub and shower. Approximately 470 square feet, including balcony.
Clean, comfortable with a big balcony but a little "tired" Please note there are a number of extras included with the suite that we couldn't find mentioned in the brochure:
Priority use of the tenders to disembark
Breakfast in Sabatinis (inc free mimosa)
Free Laundry Read entire member review.
Awesome balcony. Only negative is the clanking of a small access door latch that would allow adjoining suites to visit if desired. The room is relatively large for a ship and well designed. Read entire member review.
D704 is also called "The Kauai Suite". It is nice but is small by suite standards. Has a nice walk in closet that will hold lots of clothing and suit cases for long cruises. There is ample storage space throughout including many drawers. It has a nice wet bar for entertaining, and the bathroom is split with a separate toilet and sink room, the other having the bathtub and separate glassed in shower. The balcony is the full width of the suite (typical of any balcony cabin, only larger), there is 2 full sized wooden chaise lounges with full cushions, and a wooden table and 2 chairs with cushions. there are two flat screen TV's one in the living room, other in the bedroom. Also a DVD is in the living room. Full size leather couch/hideabed, one cloth chair. Two phones also. The suite is located on the Port side Aft after the last set of elevators. Very quiet minimal foot traffic. Read entire member review.
This particular suite is a bit smaller than other VS or S6 suites. Plus there is a large beam on the balcony that cramps things. We moved the chaises and two of the dining table to next to the beam. That way we had room to move around on the balcony. Even with the beam, though, we prefer the aft suites to a side one. On turnaround day we checked out the VS suites on the other decks, and the ones on the Emerald deck had the smallest balcony and room.
