Wide room, felt spacious. Does have a column in the center. Great bathroom and the shower has doors instead of a curtain. Good storage. Large balcony, partially covered. You can see back & side of ship. Has two chairs and small table like all balconies AND additionally room for two lounge chairs. There is a bar running across the middle diagonally but it did not bother us. Just beware where you put your chair so you don't stand up and bump your head. Sofa makes into full bed.  Read entire member review.

Mariner - Nice! by mtnbabee
Cabin 6318 on Mariner. Easy access to elevators/stairs, right around the corner from the room. The living area, appropriate for the price of the cabin. Can't say enough about the balcony and the view, both forward and aft, awesome! The balcony was also right over where the port pilot's jumped aboard to assist with the port areas, interesting to watch. Nice couch, bed was comfy, great closet, alot of shelving in the closet, drawers for other things, frige, nice. The bathroom was nice, good areas for storage both in the cabinet and under the sink. Good shower, nice pressure, area, perfect. In the evening or during the day, no noise at all from the elevator or stairs, perfect location.  Read entire member review.

Geat cabin. Great location, close to everything we wanted to see and do. LOVED the balcony and the fact there were 3 chairs provided, since there were 3 of us. Plenty of storage. We liked not having a shower curtain in the bathroom. Beds were comfortable. LOVE the linens! Thank you to the RC cruise specialist who suggested we book this cabin! :)  Read entire member review.

Very nice week by Ernie B
Stateroom 6390 has larger balcony that fit two chairs, small table and two chaise loungers. Less view of ocean than higher staterooms aft but still nice to see ships wake. Room same size as others.  Read entire member review.

Good location if convenience to promenade is important to you.  E1 was pretty tight.  Balcony had great view.  Read entire member review.

Would like to add that all the ship's service staff deserve recognition for providing sincere and excellent service. They worked very hard and still stayed friendly, helpful and cheerful. Everyone has a smile.

Cabin was pretty nice and spacious, except small room for closet and shower.  Read entire member review.

Pleased with the storage space in our stateroom. Downside of it being a connecting stateroom meant that there was no sofa, just a single chair, so seating was very limited.  Read entire member review.

Great balcony, wrong side of ship for most ports (it's on the port side), same floor as library, center of ship but close enough to stairs, closer to promenade on 5th deck and a hike to Deck 11 for Windjammer cafe (we try not to use the elevator if possible to work off all that food!), used to staying on a higher deck or in the back but neither was available at time of booking.  Read entire member review.

Quiet location, great storage, great spot on ship (convenient to everything!)  Read entire member review.

Great balcony, but smoking is an issue. RCCL needs to get with the 21st Century and ban smoking from balconies. Only 20% of the U.S. adult population smokes. Why should the other 80% of the adults and all children have to breathe air fouled by smokers?  Read entire member review.

The cabin, as I had mentioned earlier, was nice. It was almost identical in size to the cabin with balcony that I had had when I sailed on the Carnival Pride. It was very quiet, very cozy, and had adequate storage space.  Read entire member review.

Cabin 7690 on the Mariner. This is an AFT balcony cabin (behind the ship). I understand these aft balcony cabins are the same size inside as other balcony cabins on the ship. However, two advantages: 1) view of both port side and starboard side. 2) the balconies are much bigger: in fact, unlike other balcony staterooms, these have 2 lounge chairs in addition to the regular 2 regular chair provided! We spend a lot of time on these lounge chairs sipping wine, enjoying the view and reading our books!  Read entire member review.

Adequate size room, and balcony. Bathroom also adequate size, with nice size shower. BR had a smell of sewage the entire trip.  Read entire member review.

Excellent cabin. Plenty of storage space. Large standard bed with settee also. Bathroom modest size but no shower curtain to battle with - the curved screen was much easier to deal with.  Read entire member review.

Way to go RC by Loan Arranger

*Cabins were small but acceptable.
*Balcony was nice and I would not cruise without one.  I is the cherry on the top of the cake.
*Hallways were narrow but acceptable.
*Crowds were very managable except when entering premier events and leaving the ship on Deck 2.  I would have liked to see a more formal exit procedure such as calling the decks by number so that you did not have to wait in line for the exit.  Also, sometimes one one of the available ID verification machines were being used further slowing the exit.

Small everything, but good storage space. Shower is not meant for an average American. Good balcony, quiet but one night a guests deck partition came loose in rough seas and banged very loudly until they fixed it. Our room was in the middle so elevator was not that convenient, but maybe that's good.  Read entire member review.

Lots of storage space for 2 people. Quiet Location. Port side. Not quite in the middle but more so aft which was where we went most anyway. Did not feel cramped. Comfortable bed.  Read entire member review.

My mom said that our cabins smelled like urine. I couldn't smell it, but she has a sensitive nose, so that's probably why she smelled it. Our stateroom attendant cleaned the walls, and I believe he also shampooed the carpet, but the smell never went away. Also, another negative thing, Royal Caribbean allows you to smoke on your deck and not in your stateroom, so just about every time we opened our balcony door, we could smell cigarette smoke. Those were the only negative things I can think of. Other than those issues, our cabin was wonderful.  Read entire member review.

8620 - Balcony on the hump. We LOVED the location and quietness of this cabin! It was directly across from the elevator and stairs, but we never heard any noise from anyone leaving them and we had easy access to both. It was by the stairs leading to the dining rooms (going down) and the Windjammer buffet (going up). Very convenient! Still not a bad walk to the other stairs to the theater either. I liked how there was a special place for life jacket storage instead of having them crammed in the closet wherever they fit as on past cruises. 2 chairs and small table on the balcony, but being on the hump, we could see all the way down either end of the ship. Take this cabin (or one on the hump) if you are looking for a balcony!  Read entire member review.

No Ports, Just Ship by Miss88keys
Great location! We were very close to the elevator, had no cabins across from us and heard no exterior noise. It was heavenly!  Read entire member review.
9390
We had an aft Cabin 9390 which is a corner aft on Deck 9. We love deck 9 since it is close to the upper deck facilities and has a deck of cabins above to shield from noise. Our cabin featured a large triangle shaped balcony and a giant porthole big window that could be sat in! The balcony had 2 loungers and a table/chair combo. It was a great size and was sheltered from the wind. This was a bonus since the wind on deck was over 40mph on the last sea day. The balcony is partially covered so if you like to tan, it gets some great sun. However, people eating in the windjammer can look down and see you. So ladies, tan with your top on if you have 9390. Other than the funky window and balcony, the cabin is a standard E1 with lots of storage and a very functional shower. All cruise ships should have the half moon shower doors. Ten times better than a curtain! Our safe was a little temperamental so we have to have maintenance come and reset it once but that was the only concern. The other thing we noticed was that there was a small amount of soot on the balcony a couple of days. Not a huge deal but other reviews have mentioned it and it does sometimes happen.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was 9690 (I just looked it up), a corner aft E1 category. While I had read several people didn't care for the balcony and the door (not a sliding door) we liked it just fine.  Read entire member review.

Our cabin was quiet and well located between the elevators on floor seven. We use the stairs to go to the main public areas as much as possible so floor seven is great for us.  Read entire member review.
