Great layout, nice closet area. Location is perfect for getting around and ships movement (it's directly midships). Directly above Cafe al Bacio so you will hear the band if it is playing. Only played once on our 12 night cruise so it was not a problem. Other than that no noise. Tub hard to get in and out of and shower head very low. Read entire member review.
Good size cabin. Big closet and bathroom. the room was square so it felt spacious. Big balcony as well. This room had the lifeboat view below it so if you are on the deck looking down you see a lifeboat. From the room, its clear sea view. Quiet location midship, near the elevators. Spacious, even though called a Sky Suite, one room. Comfortable, intelligent designed. Full size bath tub! Butler (pleasant!) brings things, helps. Afternoon tea and cocktails on long balcony.
Suggest starboard side as usually docks starboard to. As Celebrity smoking areas mostly on port side, more likely smoke free.
Plenty of storage, walk in closet. Good lighting.
The graciousness that comes with a Sky Suite is worth a lot especially on a 15 night cruise. Read entire member review.
The suite was once in a lifetime treat because the cruise was only 5 days.It was great to have a separate bedroom. The furniture does need to be updated. We had a beverage package, so we did not use Michael's as much as we would have without that. The new suite dining room was being constructed and I think it will be great.
The living space: Yes, the living room furniture was pretty worn as the couch was unusable, it sunk from over use and once converted to a bed it was even worse; but we made do after they added another pad. The shower was too short as I’m 6’2” and my head touched the top of the ceiling as the bathtub was elevated above the floor; be very cautious as getting out will be quite the experience due to the unexpected drop from the tub to the floor. Some of the electronics were unusable – or we were just unable to figure out how to use them. The positives came in two areas for us; (1) the recently added balcony on this class of suites, small but very nice that came with four chairs, a foot rest, and one small table; (2) the four-top table in the room, this was greatly used by us each and every day. The trough (Ocean View Café and Grill) which was one floor about (Deck 10) was very easy access and allowed for us to take our food down to our rooms when the trough was packed. This class of suite comes with a butler and rooms attendants; the butler will take care of your reservations – clearing of dishes – bringing you items – etc…; while the room attendants clean and provide nightly turndown service. Our issue, was that we lived/relaxed in our room a lot, so our attendants either delayed cleaning/servicing our suite in the morning and evening – or they were overworked it just took till after 10 am to get to our room each day; don’t know – but compared to other cruise lines this daily delay seriously cramped our style of cruising as we use the room and having the (unusable) couch unmade for half the day really hampered our room space. All in all the cleaning team did fine as the room shouldn’t really need a whole lot between cruises – however, the only complaint on cleaning is the balcony windows!!! If they’re windows, then they need to be “CLEAN”!!!
