Normal0falsefalsefalseMicrosoftInternetExplorer4 our inside cabin was at the back of the ship and
when docking you will have a wake up call from engine & motor noises so no
need to set an alarm on port days. Normal0falsefalsefalseMicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Other than this the room was very adequate and
well laid out for the 2 of us Read entire member review. |

Great location just steps away from the wrap around deck which was like having our own private aft balcony. Read entire member review. |

Our Inside Cabin 412 on Deck #6 was fresh as a daisy. Very good temp. control and very new bathroom made for a most acceptable abode. Read entire member review. |

Great amount of Storage (4 closets) & tons of drawers--for 4 people, we still had empty space. Lots of noise when coming into port--banging from below--otherwise very quiet cabin. Read entire member review. |

Our inside room was on the Main Deck, in the center of the ship. King-size bed (twins pushed together); plenty of closet and storage for our clothes and luggage; tiny bathroom (no tub); quiet location. No complaints. Read entire member review. |

Inside cabin, Main Deck, forward: generally, we like these cabins. They have good living space, good closet and drawer space, nice decor, and minimal potential for seasickness due to roll (because cabin is low and in the middle), although being toward the bow, you get a certain amount of pitching when in rough seas. We like the inside cabins because they avoid the lack of privacy you get in outside cabins when in port, and we prefer having a shower only, since a bathtub in rough seas is an accident waiting to happen. Nonetheless, passengers need to be forewarned: there seems to be a recurring problem aboard the Statendam with marine fuel fumes getting vented into these forward cabins - that is not only seriously unpleasant, it can be a health hazard for anyone with respiratory or allergy issues.
